Iconic music producer and composer Claude Kelly, who co-wrote the very first singles to come off of not one but two Adam Lambert albums, "For Your Entertainment" from the album of the same name, and "Better Than I Know Myself" from Trespassing, just tweeted to the world today that a song made famous by Christina Aguilera & Blake Shelton, "Just A Fool," and which was first offered to P!NK, was actually first cut by Adam!  But, as Kelly says in the video, there were "twists & turns" and the song was never released by Adam and instead went on to Christina & Blake.  It's too bad, Adam sounds amazing!

And speaking of Christina, some initially disappointing but potentially exciting (for the future) news from Adam...

The UK's Capital FM Radio, The Official Big Top 40, interviewed Adam this weekend:

We all knew that 2020 was going to be a big year for Adam. We just didn't HOW big. This tour with Xtina would have been immensely beneficial to him. Great exposure. Broader audience. He definitely has the cred. I would think that Xtina would like it to still happen. Hope it does at some point. Whether you like Xtina or not, there is no downside to this for Adam, IMO.

Glad to see YATC getting such world-wide support! And again, Adam's music is getting a bit of a bump in the bargain. We can always continue to stream and view his videos whenever we can. Every little bit helps. This year is such an anomaly. Nothing is normal. But we can still do our part.

Heard that Adam will be doing a Lorraine interview tomorrow. I like her interviews. Should be good.

Dee R Gee, I agree with you %100. This tour would have been sooo great. Of course there will always be some grumbling about Adam co-sharing a tour. But from what I have read about some other big stars doing this, it has been extremely successful. Of course some of Xtina's fans
may not like Adam or ever have followed him. But I think minds and eyes would have been opened in surprise, as to how well these two people could make it all work. They are both on the same level for having a great voice. I hope it happens.

Bottom line, this is how they make their living. It's their job. And the venues and everyone else involved would like it to happen. I hope that both Adam and Xtina push for a later date, probably next year. I just want Adam to be completely ADAM, with no compromise just because he's on a tour with her. His music is his own and I want to here as he wants to perform it. If they would do a duet, I think I would enjoy that, too. Both their voices are excellent.

I just want as many people as possible to see and hear how fabulous he is.

Adam has already reached a higher height than most people could ever dream of: Queen + Adam Lambert. No, he's not a "replacement front man" for the band — his name is part of the NAME OF THE BAND! And one of the, if not THE, best rock band there ever was! And, he's been with them for 8 years now, too. It's just incredible what his talent and perseverance has achieved for himself and his career.

That being said ... an opportunity to have toured huge venues with Christina would have been akin to a massive cherry on top! He would have done just fine, thank you, on his solo tour. But this would have been pretty spectacular. (And, now we understand more Adam's frustration over the pandemic — he woulda been hard at work prepping for this tour!) Yes, he'll have Q+AL commitments in 2021, but I hope there will be an opportunity to try this again with Xtina. My only worry is that when times passes, things can change — but we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Funny thing, though: Adam has always professed immense admiration for Xtina. He has always expressed that she is one of the artists he hasn't worked with that he wants to work with most. However, unless there were other things going on behind the scenes, it always seemed as if she was spurning him. Nothing ever happened. I think there maybe was ONE time(?) that she said something complimentary about him, can't remember where, maybe it was on The Voice. ??? So, all I'm saying is that I APPRECIATE Christina for coming through this time, for hearing Adam, opening up to Adam, helping to fulfill a dream of his, and for at least attempting what would likely have been one of the hottest tours of the summer. Again, all of us have our fingers crossed that this still can become a reality next year.

Touring with Christina would have been an amazing thing to do, I would have loved them to have sung a duet together, he probably be the support act,but what an incredible one he would have made !!this would have been an extremely busy year for him though had things been different and the QAL tour had gone ahead, we'll have to see what 2021 brings after this awful virus(please God) hopefully calms down.I really would have loved Adam, Roger and Brian to have cut a live album from their last tour, the previous front man Paul Rogers made two live albums with them and although he was great, he wasn't in the same league as Adam both vocally or presence on stage, hopefully they may do one next year as I do wonder how much longer Brian and Roger can tour for, (hopefully another few years)it would be a fitting tribute to Adam if they released an album

I think if Adam and Xtina do get to do the tour, Adam will be on equal billing with her. I don't think he will be billed as an opening act or a support act. Adam has praised her for many years. He loves her voice. It's true, as you say, broddy, that she has not complimented him in return. But things change. I have read in the past few days that she had a tour scheduled a while back but it had to be canceled due to low tickets sales. She did get the judging gig on The Voice which gave her a much-needed boost. So she has had her share of ups and downs. Adam's public profile has really risen in recent years, due both to QAL and to the pretty darn good success of his own music.

The concert match-ups are based on which artists will sell the most tickets. The artists make a living at it. It's a delicate balance and the match-up has be right. I have never been an Xtina follower but, like Adam, her voice front and center and it's very good. It think the match-up would be mutually beneficial. I read elsewhere that at these types of concerts, the artists often trade off who performs first from night to night. So one person doesn't always "open" for the other. And the performances should be the same length. Adam was very excited about this. I hope it happens, probably next year.

Dee R Gee, sorry I probably worded that wrongly !! I didn't mean he would just be an opening act etc for her, but as a support for her concerts instead of her just having totally solo concerts, I've seen a few bands eg Whitesnake who were down as support for Def Leppard, both huge bands, (many thought it should have been the other way round, depending on who they liked better, but it was a great concert with two great rockbands !!) yes they would probably alternate who performs first from night to night, and fingers crossed if it does go ahead, there will be two great voices to listen to,( I don't follow Christina or anything but she does have a great voice) and I would have thought that Adam's popularity at the moment would mean more people would pay to see him ,I would actually love to see him on tour with Lady GaGa !

Angeladam, funny that you mention Whitesnake and Def Leppard. I love both those bands, esp. DL.
