We will be back tomorrow at the same time/same place with a full, glorious stream and we appreciate you all standing by ⚡️ pic.twitter.com/vu5V4j5AfK
We’ve been working around the clock for months putting together an amazing show for you. Due to the difficulties in the world and the situation with COVID in Los Angeles, we’ve had to move the show 24 hours to tomorrow at the same time. Hang in there with us - just for one day.

So lusciously glammy! Perfect for the Bowie tribute! Lipstick, jewelry, shiny suit. I think Bowie himself would have approved. Can't wait to see the performance!
The Bowie tribute just finished. It was quite long (3 hours), but exceptionally well done. Adam's solo was 3rd from the last, and he was superb (of course!), with all flags flying (see photo above). His green lipstick would probably be approved by Bowie.
The tribute would be a real gem for dedicated Bowie fans. I'm not one, but by the time the program was over, I was more persuaded. It is of such a quality (both sound and video) that it would lend itself nicely to a DVD...or two or three!
All the other artists were unknown to me, and most (but not all) were contemporaries of Bowie's. The music arrangements and performances were really excellent. I would fault it for not always identifying the song or performer....but the streaming "chat" section on the right of the screen had planty of fans familiar with the song and singer to tell the uninitiated.
It was amusing that there were a lot of impatient Glamberts complaining "where is Adam?", and remarking on songs we'd heard him sing that "Adam did it better"...heh heh. I think Adam was the only American there, and seemed to have performed off-site (in the U.S.?) That may have caused the only fault I noticed....that his voice seemed a bit overshadowed by the band because of being performed elsewhere. The video was better blended. but not perfectly.
But he was STILL wonderful!
I hope Adam's solo will eventually turn up here or on Youtube, because I'd like to see it a few more times. After waiting so long to see it, the time was too short to savor it!
