Hi to all. I haven’t posted in what seems like years. But I’m always following Adam and lurking here. Working in a hospital during this pandemic has been stressful . But it’s also made me realize how short and fleeting life is. So I’m trying to be more social. I tend to be depressed and shut down. So I thought I try to post here sometimes to get in the grove. Anyway I’m so excited to have Adam back on my tv . I’ve already told my husband to keep a glass of water close in case I over heat and he needs to cool me down:)

It has been years, Roseptetal. It's good to know you're still alive and well.

I won't be able to watch this but I'm hoping it will be wildly popular. Anxious to hear from all the tweeters about it and now we've got first hand Rosepetal. Yay!

Oops, sorry for the extra t in your name, Rosepetal. Arthritis sucks.

Omg, I now have ads for arthritis following me around on my computer. This website does not go unnoticed.

Lol. I know what you mean I had my right knee replaced in 2020. My surgery was originally scheduled for the end of March but because of Covid I did not get it until the end of May. I had to continue working because of all the time it takes to recover from the surgery. And I really thought I wasn’t going to make it. I hang out with a group of girls from work I’m 65 it goes down from there 55… 45 and 31. In 2019 we went to Dallas to the QAL concert. We bought our tickets last minute and had to sit in the nosebleed section over the door. My knee was so bad and the stairs so steep , one of them pulled me and two of them pushed me up them. . I made quite a spectacle but didn’t give a darn because I was going to see Adam. I think the other knee going to hold out, But the arthritis in my thumb is so bad it looks like I’m trying to hitch a ride everywhere I go:)

Welcome back, Rosepetal! Glad to hear from you again. Even when we're off the fan site for a while we always have Adam in our hearts and minds. Hope you show up here often and share the excitement for all Adam's upcoming projects. Glad you have a group of Glambert friends. It makes all the difference when you want to share your passions! Hope your health stays good, too.

Thanks DRG I’ll do my best. Sadly my friends aren’t Glamberts .Just some girls like to hang out and get away, we did have a great time at the concert though when we were leaving and ran into a bunch of drunk young people. They were all dressed like Freddie!!! They pulled us into their group and we all took some fun pictures. It was wonderful to hear them talking about how talented and amazing Adam was. I never did determine if they were queen fans because their parents or if they were Adam fans originally. You know it’s kind a hard to get info from drunk people. Anyway they had a great time we had a great time. The highlight was probably when the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders came out to sing fat bottomed girls with the band. Quite unexpected. :)

Wow! You were at the "Dallas Cowgirls" show! How cool is that? It sure was fun to watch. I think it was stroke of good luck that you met up with that group of younger people (drunk or not). I'm sure it spiced up the night. QAL sure does attract and mix of diehard Queen fans and diehard Adam fans and a healthy mix of QAL fans. All good! Hope you stick around here and share the fun of Adam's Cover Bands show and the Vegas shows and all the other stuff to come.

I was just thinking. Since Jimmy Fallon is the exec producer of the Cover Bands show, wouldn't it be great if he had Adam on his show as a guest? They could do promo of the CB shows and Adam could do some promo for his Vegas shows. Sounds like a good plan to me. I know there are other judges, too, but of course I'd love for Jimmy to have Adam on. Adam hasn't done a TV sit-down is quite a while. This would be the perfect time for him to promote two things.

I can't imagine JF not promoting the show. My guess is that he will have all three judges on at once to promote it. Being executive producer JF won't want to take the spot light off the show.

btw,Rosepetal I think it's great your still working. You must be close to retirement. Just be sure to continue to stay safe.
I've been to a venue with steep nose bleed steps too. I made it up okay, but when it became apparent I wasn't going to want to come down, a young couple stepped in and she took me by the hand while her husband stayed close behind me. My daughter was with me but clearly I needed more than one person to keep the crowd moving.

Patria, I hope you're right that Fallon has on all three judges. That would be great. It makes sense that he would do it for promo. Adam's Vegas shows start one week before the show's premiere.

I have sat in my share of nosebleed seats, too. It's very dizzying. My last QAL show was WAAAAY up there! (and we STILL paid a fortune!) I always manage to get up there and back down just find but it is pretty scary sometimes. Adam's Vegas shows will be in a smaller venue where you can see and hear from every seat. Wish I was going!

Yes I’m still working yuck!!! My husband has health issues and had to retire early at 62 so I’m still plugging along . I don’t have any direct patient contact but I do work around the doctors. COVID has been so hard on everyone in health care. You have to mask at all times none of us have any skin left on our hands from washing them constantly. Everyday we have a meeting and get the numbers of of those with COVID on med surge and on vents it’s super scary. The only bright point was we were able to get the vaccine back on January and Mercy let us bring our qualifying family members on a special night so no waiting in line . I’m hoping to retire in 2 years but who knows. Thanks for all for the well wishes . Peace light and love

Nice to meet you, Rosepetal. Hope we'll hear more from you, now that you're back. Sorry about your arthritis, but being an active fan of Adam is a panacea for many maladies...and definitely a very pleasant distraction. Hanging with friends with the same interest is therapeutic, too....and here WE are!
