Adam Lambert article and interview in Hunger Magazine. Photos below (and more in the article) by Hunger Magazine.
Excerpts (Intro) from the article/interview: be sure to read the entire piece
"Adam Lambert isn’t like other musicians. That phrase gets thrown around a lot about artists, and most of the time is misused as a lazy intro to an article about an exciting talent. But the story of his rise from American Idol to global rock and pop sensation really does draw a line in the sand between him and the rest of the world.
And not many other artists can say the same thing. Of course, there are a handful of lucky and / or talented people who score record deals, world tours, sold out stadiums and meteoric success following reality TV. But for most people, those few seconds of fame represent both the beginning and end of a short lived career that could have been as prosperous as the season’s winner. Not Adam Lambert, though"....
"We sat down with Adam to dig deep into his journey, and to discover not only where the artist wants to be, but where he’s no doubt heading…" ......

This interview is so deep and introspective. Best one I've read in a long time. Adam has really thought about what is means to be successful. It's not always about the numbers. Love how much love and respect he gets worldwide.
I enjoyed the article...a bit more into Adam's psyche than we're used to. I'm surprised to see that he admits to problems with anxiety...he always manages to project power, control and positivity. The fact that he recognizes his anxiety for what it is, and has sought counseling is an intelligent way for him to cope with it. Admitting it publicly is also helpful to others.
Certainly COVID has been a real hardship for him....but on the other hand, it has pushed him into exploration of other facets of his many talents (writing a musical, voice-over acting for movies, judging on TV shows, promotions for charity, streaming a worldwide online concert, etc.) that might not have come to the forefront without COVID's enforced isolation.
BTW....the only fault I could find with HUNGER's article on Adam are the photos. All handsome (it's impossible to avoid that), but all a bit too "angsty"...almost angry... for my taste. Could have used a couple with more pleasant expressions, IMO.
Good morning all, reporting in again. So this past week I called my cable company due to my "no internet connection" it interferes on my television, iPad (don't have computer) and on my Android phone. Twice I called and only was given over the phone instructions but to no avail, same problem. I will call the third time after the weekend and they better send a tech this time! Then I lost 2 High School classmates within a week apart, why can the very bad people die? Why good people leave first? Adam is gorgeous in these photos, I need to read the articles though. Hoping the UK fans will fill us USA fans on tonights StarStruct show! Not thrilled with this year's Superbowl halftime, not a Hip Hop fan either, sorry. Give us Queen/Adam already!!!
Hi, Sunflower. Sorry for all your technical problems. Hope you get a real tech to finally resolve it.
I agree, Queen and Adam Lambert are the only LOGICAL choice for Superbowl Halftime....with "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" at the ready...along with so many other rousing songs to fire everyone up. Is it possible they've been asked...and refused? Or maybe their being a British band eliminated them from consideration. We KNOW they'd put on a SHOW!
Happy February birthday Nanbert.
What a memory! So kind of you...thanks so much Patria. You're a few days early... it's not until the 19th...don't hurry me, heh heh. And in truth, there's not much to celebrate about....except that I'm still hanging around in fairly good health, and most of my faculties. But, oh my, how time flies!!
Just finished watching the Superbowl...didn't have a team in the game...and really hated the halftime entertainment!
