Adam Lambert breaks Billboard Top 30

Adam Lambert has a new home on the Billboard Hot 100 -- the top 30. The "American Idol" runner-up saw his current single, "Whataya Want From Me," rise to #28 on the chart after spending the week before at #31. It is Adam's first visit to the top 30 as a solo artist, and with increased air time on the radio there is more potential for him to continue this success.
As for Adam's future on "Idol," it is still very possible that the Fox show could recruit him for the "Idol Gives Back" charity event later this year. Producers have been more than willing to recruit past contestants for performances; likewise, few musicians are going to grab more eyeballs than showing up on TV's highest-rated show.

Anyone know why Kris and Allison are performing on AI but not our boy?
AI will bring him back for ratings. he is a ratings goldmine :D
Yea it's still to early for AI to bring him back this soon. I'm surprised they brought Kris in so early. Allison I can understand but Kris was a WINNER, I totally expected them to hold him out until it got closer to the final. I'm almost positive they'll hold Adam until it gets down to the final episodes for the ratings.
i think adam is too busy with other schedules. i bet AI will have him solo.
I saw somewhere that he will be on AI in early May. They're saving the best for last!
Maybe Kris will be back later as well...I think his appearance tonight was geared more toward the Haiti relief effort.
