We fans have been talking about how welcomed Adam is at every stop on his world promo tour. It's been a running joke that they all have to give him back to us. In this interview, Adam said very plainly that a person should go where they are accepted and can be happy. No matter how much we Glamberts love him, Adam may choose to live in a country where he doesn't have to struggle so hard to be who he is. ~~sigh
Anon 3:27 Yes, sadly I agree that is a possibility that Adam could choose to live in a country where people are accepted for who they are. I live in a liberal part of the US and I guess I get lost in our local bubble, thinking everyone appreciates diversity. Sadly, through the rise of Adam, I see that there are so many people fearful of diversity and still, in this day and age, can be very hateful. It is such a sorry state of our country. I have no doubt that Adam will become iconic. But, clearly, the only place he can truely be who HE IS, vs. who people want to dictate him to be, may have to be outside of the U.S. He has just blossomed on this promotional tour. It is a joy to see. I just wish him all the happiness in the world and the greatest success. What I love so much about him - other than his voice - is how he lives "freedom to be who we are", to be true to ourselves, and to let others do the same. We need to stop telling him how to wear his hair, how to perform, whether to wear makeup or not, and just love him for the joy of a man that he is. His philosophy on life is really a beacon of hope that the world can be a place of love, peace, and acceptance. Love you, Adam...in whatever way you choose to be. May happiness be yours. Oh,...and I so hope he finds love again. That would be wonderful to see.
I dont' think he will leave US. He has his own circle of friends and family in CAlifornia. He might have several house abroad like Elton John when he will get very rich. He will built more circle of friends abroad. He will change the way America is right now (indirectly via acceptance worldwide). He will influence the world (which is happening righ now). More to come...
ADAM kept mentioning middle america being prejudice on homosexuality. i am really surprised that america has these types of people, all the while i thought americans are open minded and accept everybody irrespective of their colour, religion and sexuality. so i am wrong. glad i live in australia.
Even in speech, Adam exudes artistry, naturally theatrical, even poetic, to make the point: "I will find my Viking, he'll be riding in on a ship, I will find my love at the arctic circle, in the northern lights" plays with our minds, and we wish the best for him. How cute and endearing.
Also, what he says about finding a place, I don't believe he meant literally, but that that that discriminated person may want to transplant himself to another dimension of consciousness by tuning the hate out, and not accept the negativity. This I believe is how Adam maintains equilibrium, by being his own person and not sink to the level of the haters. His light will negate the darkness, one scintilla at a time.

I love how at ease and relaxed Adam looks and sounds, even if it was back in January!
:)
