Excellent movie. Can't believe it's already been 10 yearsé

Off topic, here's a reminder of the incredible fun people were having on the Glam Nation Tour. Taken from one of the show's technicians. 3000 people were at that show!

Good gawd does he ever look like crap? Ever? What stunning good looks he has.
Personally, I loved Moulin Rouge. I own the DVD and take it out every now and again when I feel like a lift.

Funny link, I'm glad the Brit's agree. When I saw her get out of the car I told my husband, "those are the fanciest Mickey Mouse ears I've ever seen."...................JAK

On topic...the first time I watched Moulin Rouge my eyes were so busy trying not miss any set, prop, costume (my kind of stuff) that I had to watch it a second time to listen to the music.

It was a true feast for the eyes!......JAK

I've loved Moulin Rouge for years and have watched it many times. Now I think... Adam could have played the lead and absolutely nailed it. Though I love Ewan McGregor in the part, of course.

Moulin Rouge is one of my all time favorites. I agree it was groundbreaking and I love the screenplay CD. KLM

OT..@ GIOW UK, Hilarious! Thanks for the link! The girls certainly got noticed, which obviously was their intention! Maybe they wanted to create an uproar because their mom wasn't invited. I always liked the spunk of Fergie, but the last caper, selling access to her ex-husband was too much. She always seemed so friendly and down to earth and not at all stuffy...funbunn40

Moulon Rouge is one of my favorites. I had to go back and watch it several times[I have the DVD and CD]because there was so much to see, I didn't want to miss anything. I loved the music, Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor were perfect for their parts. It was such a tear jerker! I think Adam would have been too powerful
and striking looking for EMG's part. I can see him in Phantom of the Opera or Les Miserable, but would love for Elton John to write something more current for him. Adam is such a strong performer and is so passionate, think he needs something dramatic, showcasing his magnificent voice. A heart wrenching love story would be good, with a strong, male lead part and woman with a strong enough voice that wouldn't be overshadowed. Just thinking.. funbunn40

Danish Monarchy is the oldest in Europe. The reason why European monarchies are now related to each other is because in the 19th century the Danish King Christian's offspring were married to other european Royal families.

Absolutely love this movie: the music, the costumes, the sets. Didn't know that Ewan McGregor had such a terrific voice. I think we can all agree that we would love to see Adam in a Broadway musical production, but that will be years in the future. His focus now is on the next album and the follow up tour as he concentrates on his music career as a rock artist.

Those royals got around...lets give some credit to old Queen Victoria of Great Britian. She was called the Grandmother of Europe. Her grandchildren sat on the thrones of Spain, Sweden, Romania, Russia, Norway, Prussia, Greece
and Great Britian. She and her Albert were very prolific!!!!!!!!JAK

If you didn't know Ewan McGregor could sing then you probably never saw Velvet Goldmine (the film that most influenced Adam)! It was interesting and kind of creepy at the same time!!....JAK
