I've been packing all day for a 4 day excursion to the beach....whole family....9 people ranging in age from 4 to 75 (the latter being me). Then I plop down to rest with tootsies up on 3 pillows and DELL-A on my chest and see THIS!!!!
Beautiful, laughing, happy Adam....how can I leave him for 4 days?

I know if I do, something WONDERFUL will happen and I'll miss it! Would it be too awful of me to sneak DELL-A into my beach tote bag? After all at my age I won't be playing volleyball or
parasailing or skiing or cooking myself by the pool....no one will think it odd if I spend some time alone (with Adam). I won't tell them, they tease me enough. If I could trust the 4 and 7 year old not to blab I could offer to babysit for one afternoon and play the GlamNation DVD for them......they love it! Dance Party in my room!....Adam must have the broadest age group of fans of any artist. Oh shoot, I'll just do it,let the teasing begin!!!!!!............JAK

What I saw from Gaga's talk seemed a bit stiff and uncomfortable, and I attributed it to the artificial setting - two formal chairs in the middle of somewhere with no context; But THIS seems fun, friendly and relaxed. I'm sure we can expect some very funny moments in this talk, alongside an interesting conversation.

Just finished reading all the post and am always blown away by yours. I love and appreciate all your knowledge and interesting stories about Adam. Please don't ever stop, you sometimes seem to be apologizing for posting so much, that is not necessary, I believe that most of us enjoy your writings.
The story about the little girl really got to me, I also feel that the reason I am so obsessed with Adam is because he is so beautiful on the inside. I know he isn't perfect but that is also what makes him so special. He has said he works at being positive every day, and he is doing a wonderful job of it.

Great pictures of Adam. He looks terrific. He must really love those black boots with the wedge. Leather does look good on him even in July!! I wish we could all work at being positive every day but sometimes it is so hard. But reading about Adam or seeing pictures of him does make my days better overall.

Went to see Kylies Aprodite tour last night. It was good, she sang for 2 hours. She puts on an amazing show, big set huge backscreens with fabulous images on, so many costumes changes, 14 dancers etc. But at times I felt it was more like watching a westEnd production than a concert. And I tried to explain it to my husband that although obviously Adams show was snall compared to this, he did have 4 dancers, a small backscreen etc, his stage presence is so powerful that you didn't notice any of that, you just can't take your eyes off him. But with Kylie, i found myself often not watching her, but the dancers, the back images, the big screens etc, she seemed to be a bit lost in the middle of it all. Plus she's not the greatest singer, a bit nasally I thought. But a great show overall and worth seeing. Towards the end she did a few numbers without the dancers with much more interaction with the audience and that was great. My husband hadn't realised that she was such a huge gay Icon and was a bit overwhelmed by a lot of the audience at first...

I can't help but smile just looking at the second picture <3 So contagious & beautiful!

Do believe Adam and the guy who owns Skingraft go back a long ways, before Idol. So looks like two old friends catching up and enjoying themselves. Can't wait for it to run. I want a vacation, I need a vacation, but am buying a house in another town, and it has been an absolute nightmare. Every house I like someone outbids me even when I listen to RE person and up my bid. It's a buyers market, if you can find anything to buy.

Cool boots Adam! Love them! Plus SkinGraft is awesome and full of amazing gear. It's a place I find irresible!

Legs! Man does he have legs, and they go all the way up. (men say this about women... I just wanted to say it). Adam looks relaxed and of course, his usual striking self. Hope to hear some Adam laughing when this airs on VH1.

I bought one a year and a half ago (immediately after Adam's WWFM music video came out, I downloaded it from iTunes and my old PC, also Dell-a, crashed and died from sheer ecstasy, apparently: I think it was Adam's beautiful look of love at the very end of the video...just too much for the old hard drive I guess) ; ) My Mac laptop has traveled many many miles with me since then and I wouldn't go anywhere without it. Always connected.

I'm still fascinated by the boots. They make his big feet look delicate and even longer. Definitely not the stompers one usually sees in guys who want to wear heels!

The boots are a fashion statement that only he could pull off, so good for him! Strong feelings about them only tells that they hit the mark. Also, they cost a FORTUNE, so it's good that he wears them, too!

Thanks for letting us know about the Kylie concert. I'm not a fan of Kylie's music except for one song "Can't Get You Out of My Head" - love it. As an Aussie, I understand what you mean about "nasally". The Australian accent has a flat nasal sound, more noticeable in some people's voices than others. I didn't know Kylie was performing in the U.S. She is hugely popular in Australia and the U.K. She's tiny so I can imagine she looks a little "lost" on stage with all her back-up dancers and theatre props but I'm glad you enjoyed the concert. She is well-known as a gay icon, both in Australia and overseas.

I do feel that Adam has plenty of loving hearts,
eyes,ears and hands that can safely watch over him while I'm gone......fortunately. I intend to enjoy myself and believe me when I say the two little girls will be stuck to me like velcro.
I am a Mary Poppins grandma, carpet bag filled with a new Princess card game, pink fairy wings (to match their swimsuits), new red and white sunsuits for evening fireworks on the beach and headbands with antennae with stars that flash red, white and blue. I made choc. chip and peanut butter cookies to give us a "sugar high", we will party hard!

Since so many younger and wiser heads have convinced me to take DELL-A I will have music during my rest time (I need it frequently to recharge). I may be tempted to
peek in to this blog, but mostly I write when I'm sitting watching the waves roll in near my toes. It's very inspiring.

Explanation....when you live in Florida if you spend any length of time by sun reflecting pool and sun reflecting white sand you end up thoroughly cooked...fried...burnt to a crisp.
I gave up doing that in my 30's. I am older and wiser and I don't have room for any more freckles.

I do want to say this: You are still a little goofy and negative sometimes (aren't we all..), but I think that anger management class you talked about a while back is helping a little (even tho I think you were kidding about it)..You don't seem as angry or quite as sad..And you are actually being nice quite often..I don't always agree with what you say, but I see a glimmer of hope. So perhaps a new "name" would be in order..Perhaps that would help. Something more positive."Sad" is not a good place to be. I think we've all been there. We all have so much to be happy about here in AdamLand, with Adam's new album coming out soon..I really hope that you will one day be over your sadness and worry for the negative things that have happened to Adam, because I think I understand why you are sad: you want the same things for Adam that all of us here want for him: Happiness, success, and love, and you worry that it won't happen. I hope that you can focus on those good and positive things for him, and not think so much about what hasn't gone right for him in the past. I think Adam does that for himself and it keeps him in a positive place, and it has kept him moving forward in spite of the challenges he has faced in the past and present. He's a good role model for all of us. "Never give up".

I agree, drunk tweeting or drunk posting is usually a bad idea...can get one into all sorts of trouble..but it can be pretty funny to the ones reading it. Not recommending it though...

The golden couple are doing better than myself. One of then, Quico, the youngest (almost 19) found a part time job with a friend of mine, but only for this summer. It's good because it's near my house and he doesn't have to expend money with transportation, once sometimes he comes back home very late night. Quico had a story of violence in his family when he was a child and had been aparted from his family and raised by a government instituition... so, «coming out the closet» wasn't big deal for him, he didn't have to give many explanations, once he turned 18 already. Big problem is his boyfriend Nelio (23), first son from a very traditional Catholic family in other island. His father wants to kill him, his mother wants to die, his brother (22) wants to go to Canada and forget he has a family, his sister (16) and the dog want to come to São Miguel and live with Nelio and Quico, as a maid and pet for them (in my house!). In the mean while, Nelio is taking a bartender course in the continent. Will be back in a week or so and try some job here. They payed the rent (JUNE) plus expenses of my house for me, once I was in the hospital the whole time and they were living here. Good! I have almost no money in the bank right now, and I am unemployed and the doctors don't want me working for the next 2 months at least! Because I'm unemployed the government pays me only 64% of my wage... if I were working in Hell's Kitchen when I suffered the lung and heart attacks, I would got my whole wage plus some health imndenization. Oh, well! Let's see what happens! Let's believe and wait for the Universe Laws: you give, you receive back!
Fucking assholes from Hell's Kitchen!!! Over 3 years I worked for them and only ONE had balls to call me by phone 3 or 4 times when I was in the hospital, but asking me please not to tell anybody... They are all against ME and the couple, for FEAR to loose their fucking jobs. My (our) ex boss sent me to my house a «reccomendation letter» for my next job. In change, I sent him by e-mail a copy of that entire thread about gay marriage in New York, sweet Adam's twitters and all your comments. I'm smiling ear to ear until now, just imagining his jerk face. It helps me to get well sooner.

We have all come to know and care about each other on this site, and as such sometimes do share some personal information. That's what makes this site so special. Also, the personal info generally stems from a conversation about a posting about Adam. Fan4fun's comment is an extension of discussion on a previous thread related to the passage of the Gay Marriage Law in New York. It then expanded into conversation about gay acceptance and at that time Fan4fun shared her experience of being "fierce" and supporting 2 gay men at her workplace. Not at all off topic really...at least not for those of us who are here pretty regular. Ha. And now, she is updating us on how she is feeling and what's news with the boys. And, by the way, @Fan4fun, you are right, the Universe does provide. You have done a lot of good through your actions. It will be returned. :)

On the next morning after AMA my friend from Tulsa called me, my husband asked me if I watched AMA night before, and when I came at work, everybody talked about Adam AMA performance. Adam lost many fans after AMA.
He deff didn't lose me as his fan. But I always qualified Adam as a smart person however AMA performance wasn't smart at all. So, after all I became very angry and sarcastic person or 24/7 house troll SAD AL

That was a tough time for everyone, wasn't it? For Adam, his family(I am sure) AND us fans, for so many reasons. But, I think most of us have moved past it and are looking for a happy and successful future for Adam. Please join us when you are ready. It's so much easier to look to the future, the good fun and great music to come, rather than a moment in time, in the past, that was like a bad bump in the road. We have all made mistakes or bad judgement or acted impulsively at some time in our lives. I know sometimes it can be hard to let go of those things, but I think it's even harder to hold on to them. :)

I would like to comment, if I may. I have been on this site for 2+ yrs and told my story of bad health, etc and have talked with many of you on a personal basis. I don't think a blog just has to be about a topic and we comment on Adam, if fact he might wish we didn't comment so much about him. We have had many laughs, even Sad Al has made me chuckle at times.
I think the AMA's gave all of us a lump in our throats. I fretted over it, because of what Adam had to go through. But I cared to much for him to dwell on it, and he is so very smart.
So I hope Sad Al will join us.
I love Fan4fun and Icon stories, as JAK can turn a phrase also. There are others that can write extremely well. What would life be like if we can't talk to each other off topic once in awhile, pretty dull.
As with Sister and many others here, I am very passionate about equal rights for all. I am hardly ever bothered by what others comment. I let it get to me once and didn't come here for bit. I missed not reading what you all had to say and I missed up to date Adam, because no other site is like 24/7. I am a fan of all the regulars who sign, feel as if you are friends. I am kind of house bound, and this site is friendly, at least most of the time, Lately it has had some strange post.
Just wanted to let you know I appreciate you all, almost as much as I do Adam.

@Fan4fun, It's 4:30AM and I just found your post. I'll write tomorrow/today, as brain is shut down and I'm so glad you did, as I do very much care what is happening in your life, health, as well as the adventures of Icon and your golden boys. I have grown to care about so many on this site because of the length of time we've gotten to know each other and hope to get to know the newer ones as well. When Adam news is slow, we can get off topic and I am often a big offender. We all are linked by our admiration of Adam and when the new album and tour starts that will be our big main topic as the GNT was. I do care about fans on the other side of the world and about their countries as well as their thoughts about Adam. I love the Finnish fans telling us about Sauli and what a decent, loyal man he is. He is a part of Adam's universe that brings positive, good energy to him. He's so likable and talented in his own right that I've come to appreciate his humour and sunny personality too. This site is very special to me because it does give us the latest Adam news and there aren't rigid restrictions, only lines not to cross when it sometimes becomes hateful and abusive by a few. There are other sites that cater to a specific Adam subject that will only accept those comments after you register with a name,etc. This has been a very friendly site and many may just skip comments that are of no interest to them, which is fine, but it is nice to care and know about the many nice fans on this site and see new ones. Fan 4 fun, more to you in a little while. I do want to catch up with you. Nite all! funbunn40
