Is this a drunken tweet? A borderline type of... humor nevertheless. Am I allowed to dislike Mr "milestougeaux" today? 'Cause, usually, I like his sense of humor. But not today.
Then again, I'm not into babies so much. I see Mom..Berts are happy. Good for them. Maybe is just the schizoid me who's talking here.
So what's next? His first 'bunny underwear'? The glam-childbirth video?
Talking about boundaries and safety in one's relationships (even with one's own parents)... As I remember, Cheeks was virtually crucified for 'the gay pictures' that were actually put there by Adam, as he told us later on. Is this picture less private just because it's about a (nonsexual) little human being? Maybe so... but not for me.

Oh, I see, still not allowed to dislike... Wth, indeed!
Let’s see, some ..Berts here already know I’m ’not ok’, don’t they? But from where I stand, neither some of the ..Berts. I have this horrific habit of being ”too deep” while wearing glitter eyeliner and feathers, loving an artist who talks about the freedom of being ”who you are”, and mingling with his fans. I’m that (self-righteous) bastard who sees, apart from the beauty and the liberation in it, also the dangers in letting people be ’who they really are’ without any rules or constraints. I’m not talking here about the peaks of silliness or stupidity people could reach, and no, I’m NOT talking about any gender or age issues. (I love the glam-grannies who relive their youth and drool over a young flamboyant gay singer. I think it’s amazing and a great subject of reflection.)
As much as I love the tremendous benefits of today’s means of communication (including this place that brings together people from around the world), I hate the downside of all this, the exhibitio-voyeuristic turn of our world and the insidious ways in which the reign of Money changes the otherwise nice people (like us ;-)) by pushing their deepest hidden hedonistic buttons. Indeed, he laughed at his dad’s tweet, but the ’social perversion’ I’m talking about here goes both ways. Ok, don’t call it ’perversion’, call it the ‘bargain’ that stars make with the general public over their intimacy. I’m afraid in my language, the correspondent word of ’star’ carries also a negative meaning, of one who, without being a professional in any area, ‘sells’ one’s own private life to the media in order to be spoken about and kept in the public eye. (However, we do tend to credit the ’Hollywood stars’ with more, let’s say, artistic value).
Upon the temporal disappearance of this blog, I contemplated my mixed feelings about not being able to come here anymore. I said so many times that the main reason I come here is the interaction with the 24/7’s ..Berts, but who knows, maybe, just maybe, I suffer from the same ‘tendencies’ (which, btw, might be assimilated to psycho-sexual disorders at social level) I see in others and that, my friends, saddens me.
If you ever come here and read this comment, you can dismiss it as crazy talk and go back to enjoying pictures from the private life (hospital visiting, godfathering, getting drunk with lovers, shopping, dining, dozing in airports, etc. ) of the subject of your affection saying ”it’s ok, he wouldn’t mind”. After all, this is ‘the deal’. Right?
