And looking at that pic of Adam in round sunglasses ... mmmmm it's like eating chocolate all day and not feeling sick - just feeling like MORE.

Whoa! Whoa! Adam, I love this cover picture of your single NCOE! The round dark glasses accentuate your sensuality as well as the title of the song. Good Good luck and huge success for this meaningful beautiful song!! That ethereal surreal high note in the song will rock the heavens and charts!! :)

Oh my, first to comment. Does this mean he will sing this on idol? Hope so yeah I love this song the best, with trespassing a very close second! and of course OLL. Smart move!

Love the song and think it is perfect for the radio. Cover is very cool too. I like how all the art works together. Much better than last era's art. I am optimistic that the radio will love this song. Fingers crossed.

Adam at one of his interviews today said that NCOE was picked by radios' executives. Basically radios wanted this as Adam's second single and they better spin the heck out of it. OR ELSE THEY'LL SEE THE WRATH OF GLAMBERTS!

I love all of Adam's songs and they should all break the radio airwaves. They are all much better than what I hear on my radio stations. But unfortunately radios have their own politics when it comes to spinning new songs. IMO Adam earned his right as a true artist for the past couple of years and without any hesitation radios should play his singles. I don't like the kind of stupid political games they play. If I don't hear NCOE on my radios I will raise hell and I truly mean it.

Love it! Reckon it's a safer choice for hitting the US airwaves.
Still love the grit of 'Trespassing' and 'Cuckoo', but they're be on the album too so we all internationally win!

I know it doesn't sound like me at all. But I don't like the choice and really don't like the cliche cover art. But I hope it really works for Adam this time, I'm not sure... :(

I love the cover art a lot. Wished either Trespassing or Cuckoo would have been his second single. Anway, NCOE is great for me too. All the 4 snippets we heard are great singles. With Trespassing it seemed he could both satisfy his rock fans and win over the pop fans too because of its catchy tune.

But with NCOE it will only be the pop fans and I don't know if it's a good choice. Any time in the past years Adam tried to go mainstream it didn't become satisfying.

But anyway it's Adam. He can do anything. I just hope it will work or we won't be able to say "Adam can do anything" anymore...

Never Close Our Eyes is a very safe choice and I'll support it, of course.

NCOE wouldn't be my 1st choice for the 2nd single but I hope it does really well for Adam. He needs to have his music played on radio! It'll be a safe choice to sing on Idol. Hope we see a video of the song soon. Love, love, love the cover art!

I am so glad he chose NCOE!! I don't care if it was radio execs who liked it, or forest skunks. All I know is I was captivated from the first listen, his voice sounds gorgeous in it, and the song itself is very catchy. I can see it playing on radios, which is a very good thing! I like pop music, it reaches a very broad audience of people. And I would love to see Adam's music be a part of that. I also love to sing this song. In fact I recorded myself singing it and it's playing back on my computer right now. It's a very catchy, melodic tune. And it's more upbeat than wwfm and btikm. I like, I like!! I hope to hear it soon playing on the local and national radio stations! And it's written by Bruno Mars, and he is a talented and successful songwriter. I think that is a good sign. Similarly, P!nk wrote WWFM and that was a big success. I like NCOE even better, it's more positive and has a nicer mood about it! I really was so impressed when I saw Adam's acoustic live performance of it on youtube-- it seemed to fit his voice like a glove! I hope when he performs it in the future he stays with the down-to-earth performance of it, showing real emotion, rather than reverting to the trying-to-be-sexy faces (not that he isn't, but he doesn't need to do those dramatic head tosses, Elvis smirks, and growls, etc. in this song!). I really want the real, true message and emotion of the song to shine through!! Because it is such a lovely story, a lovely message about two people sharing a magical moment in time! It's very honest and open and intimate, and I hope he will continue to perform it that way, as if he was honestly speaking these words to someone he cared about!! Please do so, Adam (if you want to, of course). Thanks!!

I think NCOE is best choice not because it's radio-friendly but because it's simply great pop.
Why are some people keep saying that "everybody loves TSP"? I don't love TSP. I think It's repetitive, not sharp and just heavy lacking mood. I love pop and also love hard-rock but I don't like TSP at all.

My first choice still stand TRESPASSING INDEED!!!!

But hey! The radio executives have chosen NCOE for air time and so be it...

Queen with Adam Lambert – Despite Cancelled Sonisphere, UK Concerts To Go Ahead

Just two weeks after the shock cancellation of Sonisphere 2012 where they were due to headline with singer Adam Lambert, rock band Queen has announced they are to go ahead with a UK concert appearance this summer after all.

The band today announced that the highly anticipated pairing of Queen and Lambert will instead take place at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo over two nights, July 11 and 12.

In the announcement the band also promised to endeavour to give priority booking to those who had held tickets for their Knebworth concert.

Tickets will go on sale next week, first to Queen fans and Sonisphere ticket holders and then on general sale.

Says a band spokesperson, “Queen acted immediately in looking for an alternative venue in an aim to avoid disappointing all those fans who had so desperately looked forward to seeing them at Knebworth. Coming in the lead into the Olympics, most of the venues they first approached were unavailable, being taken as official London Games 2012 venues. As the setting of some of the band’s best remembered concerts, the idea of returning to this historic Hammersmith venue really appealed to them.”

Said Brian May: "Somehow this feels right - The Odeon is a big part of our history, and its atmosphere is second to none. It's the perfect place to acknowledge our faithful fans, and will be a fitting return to our roots!"

Roger Taylor adds: "We had made up our minds to play in the UK this year, so play we will ! Following the collapse of the Sonisphere organisation we didn't want to let down all those people expecting to see us live!"

Speaking from the US, Adam Lambert said: “I’m so thrilled that Queen found a way to ensure that the fans will get to see this event this summer. I can’t wait to be in London to perform with Queen for these incredibly special shows!”

Originally known as the Hammersmith Odeon, the venue was the scene of four sold-out Queen concerts in late November/early December 1975, as well as a special Christmas Eve show; and the band returned for a triumphant end-of-tour show in December 1979, playing the opening night of a series of UNICEF concerts for the people of Kampuchea. Amongst fans, the Hammersmith shows continue to be regarded as some of Queen’s most exceptional. Broadcast live on national radio and TV, the Christmas show has become one of the most heavily bootlegged in the band's career, and an edited version of the show has been recently shown by the BBC. But a high quality official release DVD is now planned, unedited, which will include the audio of all of the songs which were not originally transmitted on TV.

I am happy that his new single is NCOE. Bruno writes very catchy songs and Adam's voice sounds amazing on it. If the radio PD'w said they liked it hopefully they spin the heck out of it.I want Adam to have a huge hit! Then he can release Trespassing or Cuckoo. I really don't think the pd's liked BTIKM,anyway it didn't get that much airplay except on certain stations. The Bruno connection sure can't hurt Adam and can't wait to buy it on itunes the 17th!!!!

I wish I had not seen the award show Trespassing performance so I have nothing to compare with. Love NCOE!

Queen recently said that the late Freddie Mercury would "approve" of new frontman Adam Lambert.

If the radio execs picked NCOE as their choice for the next single, I certainly hope that we will be hearing it on the radio. I would have selected either Trespassing or Cuckoo, but I am not in the music business trying to bring a hit song to the public. All of his fans want nothing but success for him with his sophomore album, so let's hope that this second single brings it to him.

Adam will certainly be very busy over the next few months with the release of TRESPASSING, promos for the album and next single in addition to his appearances with Queen. Also, I can't wait to see him on IDOL where I suppose he will perform NCOE. I hope the radio plays this new single since the radio execs seemed to pick it as their choice for Adam to release next. If NCOE doesn't do it for Adam, the frustration and disappointment will be felt by him and all of his devoted fans alike. I still consider him to be the best vocal talent in music today and hopefully this album will bring him the success he so deserves.

Well, about the new single,I thing Adam & the label made the right decision.Even I really love Traspassing and Cuckoo,I think the important thing is to get to the max. number of people and if the radios like NCOY better, so let it be! If "the suits" like it, they will play it more often.Some people said teenagers gonna like it but not the Rock people, well,teens are a huge part of the cake so Wellcome!! Then for the Rock ones Adam has Traspassing!!I know that when you're listening a song on the radio you don't care who had writen it, BUT radios know,people in music biz know, and BM himself tweet it and in a sec thousands of people knew about that song and really love it on Adam's voice, so BM connection is always god.
It's also good for TV promo, it's "save" for them, we all know how US tv thinks so better be save than sorry! Yes, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING that BTIKM hasn't been promoted in Australia - very sad indeed. WWFM, IIHY, FYI and the FYI album all did very well here. It would've been EXCELLENT if Adam could've done a promotional tour as he did last time. It wasn't a long promotional tour, just a few days in 2 capital cities but it brought his music to the attention of radio stations and his songs were played often, and are still played from time to time. However, it hasn't been possible for Adam to visit Down Under this time with all the promo work he's done in the UK and the US. Maybe he can tour south of the Equator some time in the future but he's going to be very busy in the US and performing with Queen. DJ Byron Cooke is an absolute gem and a diehard Glambert but he's affiliated with one radio station only so he can only do so much. We love and support Adam to the max here and not hearing BTIKM on the radio is very frustrating. Also, if his Trespassing album doesn't do well in Oz, he may not bring his concert tour here and that would be very sad indeed. Sorry to rant - I wasn't going to post about this at all but as Anon 5:08pm has mentioned it, I felt inclined to comment about it as well.

Wishing Adam all the very best with NCOE - I hope it will be a HUGE HIT everywhere.

I hope NCOE gets the radio play it deserves, and THEN Adam can come out smoking hot with Trespassing or Cuckoo. These radio jerks have got to come to their senses sometime! We have our work cut out for us, Glamberts! Requesting, voting, viewing, buying!

BTW, for those of you in the Chicago area, Adam is playing at a KISS FM 103 show (with other acts) on Friday, May 18, the day after he's on Idol. I guess he was a lasst-minute addition. It's a good venue, and I got tickets!! There are still a few available on StubHub, if you're interested.

Adam is played in Oz for sure.
Last week alone we heared Adam many times during the week just hitting the stores, let alone listening to the radio ourselves. Our airplay of 'FYE' excelled over that in California!True the music video's have slowed down but that will all change soon.Even channel 9weather channel play 'WWFM' every night. Bandit FM and all stores have Adam well listed and covered too.
There has been a lull waiting for 'Trespassing' to be dropped but chances are good we could get the album prior to the US release date.(fingers crossed)
There are major Adam dedicated followers in Oz, (some going back way pre-idol, Mardi Gras, XFactor, SYTYCD, HUM, all Glam Nations here and in NZ and the US)who have promoted Adam's album all over Oz with great passion, including the UK and even in the US.
Sony have held back but that soon will change in May!The whole world is waiting for the Adam storm to hit next month. Just remember Oz and NZ experienced stunning performances with Glam Nation
infact they were breathtaking. I reckoned they were the cream compared to many we viewed overseas. So don't worry about Adam and Oz, when the time is right the Adam Storm will hit this continent big time!

I have already ordered the album but something just seems wrong.
It takes a year to write, delay delay on getting it out and then we have all these songs radio want play. Same problem with last album. Seems like we need one for the bars and one for radio. Why do we have to have something by Bruno or Pink to get it played? Maybe they just need to start writing all the songs for radio. Adam can sing better than Bruno any day IMO.Hope this song works out.

I was just saying there doesn't seem to be a lot of love for BTIKM thats all. The music video is great. I have loved Adam from the first time I saw him on AI and have followed him ever since. I was so very lucky to go to his concert in Brisbane he was amazing!! I just wish that he was given the same air play as any other artist. I will buy the cd and the deluxe and remixes,but Adam is a performance artist rather than a top 40radio artist but still hoping one strikes it. He can do so many things with his voice that sometimes the production puts too much in a song (don't hate on me) Simple sometimes is better. That being said his performance at NNN is amazing! I love, love, love NCOE and think it is going to be a big hit on CHR. If it does super, which I am sure it will, then one of the quirkier tracks like Trespassing and Cuckoo can be third single. This album is deep in singles I think. Adam is a smart man and did what needed to be done for his career.

Just heard the full-length studio version of NCOE, it's great!! I am biased towards the acoustic version though cause you can really hear the clarity and beauty of his naked voice! And you can really hear the lovely melody of the song. But hopefully all the bells and whistles (literally) will be helpful on the radio. I really like the acoustic too, though! So I think Adam will have fun (and plenty of chances) of singing acoustic at talk shows and other appearances, etc. as he does his promotional stuff.

Here is what I think about NCOE.Adam's voice is more then up front.It is IN YOUR FCKN FACE from the very first note.Doesn't sound remotely like Bruno or ANYONE ELSE singing today.No "too long for radio"instrumental introduction.Just ADAM,BAM!
If this doesn't smash on radio,there is no justice in this world or music appreciation in this world.

Adam loves Oz and we just have to be patient right now....so just hold on! Oz was greatly blessed and we have to give way to other promo's at the moment.
Of course 'Trespassing' will hit with gusto soon ... big time! Everyone is waiting for it to drop.
Adam has not forgotten Oz. The next tour will be incredible!
..and yes, hopefully 'Queen' will be heading this way and hopefully with the Master too!

Yep adore the acoustic NCOE but I guess the consideration is what sells right now, and the upbeat dance version is spot on for the industry right now. Big business, big game and ultimate dollar signs for RCA/SONY because they have a superstar in their hands.
