No No and No No! Nice guy Kris but Adam vocally is well out of Kris's league.

Like Kris said their tour styles are different but what harm would there be trying a song collab? I watched Kris's new video today and much enjoyed it.

If Adam wants to ...I'm on board.

Adam and Kris always had this very handsome boys image when they photographed together. Can't be sure if this tingling chemistry of theirs is still alive. The last collaboration I heard was when they sang Crazy; and yes Kris did have quite a tough time keeping up with our Adam turbo. LOL! Unless it is a well-thought-out collaboration; I thought, We Are The Champions at the S8 finale was quite good; must tread carefully because fan snipings can be stirred up like a hot pot of spicy curry. LOL! :)

'Tingling chemistry' lol seems that Adam has a lot of chemistry with a lot of pple if its not Kris its Tommy, so strong it would appear enough to drive some fans into a world of fantasy that they are not able to distinguish delusions from reality all the while providing 'proof' of how he has 'no chemistry' with his real life BF from some random pics :D

Anyway Kris would never do a collab with Adam because lets face it, he would be completely overshadowed by him. Adam's personality is so large that he completely changes the energy in the room when he walks in, plus he is so charismatic and has his pulse on what's current now whether it be fashion, music etc, I would see why Kris would be hesitant to do so.

First of all, I really like Kris's new single, Vision of Love". Its a beautiful song and it's written and sung for an excellent reason: to help combat bullying. His voice is nice and seems to have grown as well. I really hope that those who comment on this thread will be respectful and not resort to bullying themselves. We've had some problems with that here before. I don't think Adam would appreciate it either.

That said: I think if Kris and Adam want to collaborate on a song or project, its certainly up to them. Maybe it would even help to unite the fandoms a little bit. But I suspect we won't see anything come up any time soon..Two very men, each promoting their own new music. I think they could come up with something that would compliment each of their voices and singing styles. I liked Kris on American Idol, although Adam was, is, and always will forever be my favorite Idol ever, as you might deduce! Sounds like Kris is doing well and I'm happy for him.. I really don't get all the negativity that the separate fandoms often seem to generate. So hurray for Kris and his new music. And if you haven't heard his new song, check it out...(I downloaded it. and its on my iPod...shhh!) Not only that, I'm listening to Sugarland right now ; ))) I'm a fan of Jennifer Nettles, who has a powerful voice, and who is by the way a fan of Adam's..so the music genres sometimes overlap in my music collection..(True Confession time..) : ))

I can see a collab with Adam singing a Kris composed song. Kris is very talented in that area. He's not my type of performer, but I'll always have a soft spot for him because of his kindness to Adam when others weren't so nice. I've heard a few recent Kris songs that really liked. He's evolving just like Adam, but their appeal--as Kris says--is to different audiences. Heck, I think Adam would have chemistry with a traffic light. He is just so damn beautiful.

If Adam wants to collaborate with Kris at some stage, fine but no doubt Adam has his hands full at the moment promoting Trespassing and gearing up for performing with Queen, but maybe at some mutually convenient time in the future.

personally i never liked kris allen.....not because of adam or anything (i didnt watch S8 of AI) just because when kris' music came out like "live like we're dying" it just wasnt my type of music......it reminded me of "the scrypt" (which i personally dont like at all) but i DID listen to his new song...and I did like it....not my fav song but still really nice....(i havent watch the video tho..gonna watch it today xD) havent heard any other song of his new music ( gonna check ouf too) but if theyre all like VOF maybe i might like him a little more :)
BTW i also dont understand why this fanbases hate each other so much (i find it inmature and stupid) its obvious that the least either adam or kris want is that people fight, judge and bully

Definitely no! Adam is moving on and finally losing some of the Idol stigma. Performing with Kris will just bring it back to everyone's mind.

I think their styles are too different. Kris has a nice voice but Adam would outsing him, heck he can outsing most people. Adam would have to make that choice, but Adam is in a different place, he is an international star and has so much of his own music to promote,plus the great Queen gigs!

I don't think they should sing togheter. I don't have anything agains K.A.in fact I never had listen to his music,just know about him because of Adam.It's just that I think they voices do not much.Adam has a huge voice and Kris voice is too "shoft".If you listen the performance they did with Queen at the AI finale, you can see it easily.Kris voice is good, but alone or with someone else, that have the same range of voice. When Glitzylady recommended Kris new song, I listen to it and the anti-bully message is nice,the vid is nice, but I like stronger &powerfull voices.The duo that I would LOVE to hear is Adam singing with George Michael.....that would be to die for.....can you imagine them singing Fredoom!??:D

I voted no, and I can't see it happening any time soon. I liked Kris on Idol and even predicted he'd win, but haven't really followed him since apart from what I read on MJ's. But I don't feel that Kris has been very supportive of Adam since Idol, especially after the AMA's. And I don't think they are close friends anymore, when asked recently about Kris, Adam said he hasn't seen him since the Idol finale last year.
But even after saying that I do quite like Kris's voice, he's just a bit too vanilla for me. Still can't see a duet though, they are just too disimilar in styles, and I agree that Adam would overshadow Kris, or he would go the other way and rein himself in too much so as not to overpower him.

I'd be in favor of a collab/duet between them a LONG time from now when it's really a nostalgia thing. Their careers are too young right now. They're both working hard on their own music. They are so different. Adam has that larger-than-life quality that just oozes "presence" and sensuality. Kris is a wonderful, nice guy with that "everyman" quality that lots of people like. I don't see this match-up any time soon. And I agree that the sooner the Idol connection is behind Adam, the better.

Q102 is running a best idol contestant ever thing, Adam won his first round, and is now against David Cook, but only has a very small lead, throw him a few votes if you have time.

@glitzylady - IKR. I still think about what Jennifer Nettles said about Adam, it was sooooo true! Btw, if you're a fan of hers make sure you download, if you haven't already, her/Sugerland's duet with Matt Nathanson, "Run", it's SOOOO good. Nathanson another artist who should have massive fame, like Adam, but happily Nathanson does alright without it! And another BTW, I love a few of the tracks on Kris Allen's first album - I listen to Alright With Me all the time when I work out! It's a great track.

Not a big fan of George Michael. Adam has a much better voice than his. I'd like to hear Adam do a duet with Elton John. Perhaps the Kiev concert would be the ideal place for it to happen.

Met Kris and he is a good guy with very beautiful brown eyes. Then there's Adam in a different world completely. Full of zest and attitude that to be honest leaves everyone behind, even Kris.

I don't see an advantage to either of them to collaborate. Different styles completely. Kris has a nice everyday dinner sound, Adam is dessert all the way.

Not a good idea at all. Adam Lambert is a 'now' and 'going forward' artist/singer. Adam has his amazing TRESPASSING album coming out in a month and I believe that KA also has one coming out in the next few months. They both respect each other and that should suffice for now. No looking backwards please!

New single NCOE. Adam tweeted it. Did ya'll see on youtube some idiot pretending to Adam on his cousins account. He claims to be giving away 4 tickets to his New Jersy concerts and you get to spend 2 days with Adam. Kids under 10 have to have their parents with them. Seems like a perv to me trying to get teens. You have to submit a video response. It was on the first NCOE accoustic radio. I flagged as spam, but didn't know what else to do.

Can 24/7 please feature THE Adam Lambert news of the day as well as the new cover art?? NCOE is the NEW single and the single's cover art is incredibly great!!

I loved Season 8. Kris and Adam formed a bond that should stand as a role model on two people from different backgrounds coming together and being friends. After Idol their marketing teams seemed to keep them very far apart. Now, I'm glad to see Kris so open to a collaboration with Adam. I think Adam will be very touched to hear that Kris said that. It's their call. I think it is very positive. Perhaps something for The Trevor Project or a charity. I think their friendship is a model for getting along and finding what you have in common rather than focusing on differences. I vote yes to a collaboration when the time is right.

Well, now we know what the new single is! I'm hoping that when performs it, he gives it an extra edge. I also hope the CD version is edgier. I like the song, but it's very mainstream, and I know that's why it was chosen, so hopefully it will sell well. I just want a real ADAM spin on it to make it stand out. The acoustics he did were great but I want this song to really come out blazing! I hope Trespassing in the third single!

I think his next single should have been a good dance number. I never care who writes a song when I listen to it. He should have promoted his first single or NCOE on the NNN show.NCOE isn't going to get anymore airplay then BTIKM. Who makes these decisions?

NCOE is so differnt from. This can be a slow song, a dance song , also we can hear in club. I like this song more than BTIKM .

I fell in love with NCOE when Adam sang it the first time acoustically. His voice was simply gorgeous. It's got a beautiful melody and a beautiful, neutral message. I understand RCA's decision to go with the most "radio-friendly" song. I like it more than BTIKM but I'm torn between NCOE, Trespassing and Cuckoo too. So many good choices on this CD. I can't wait to get my copy ASAP!

I think that RCA is way too safe a record label (my opinion only). Please let NCOE single be a huge radio hit so that Adam can then release HIS OWN songs that ALL his fans want to hear.

I love the art work for NCOE. Adam looks gorgeous in that picture with those sunglasses. I too love NCOE better than BTIKM. My first pick was Cuckoo and then Trespassing. BTIKM didn't get much recognition by US radios unfortunately. RCA did a radio promo and PDs/DJs preferred NCOE over the others. Totally opposite of what fans picked. We have to remember that radio support is very crucial to Adam's success. Since NCOE is the radios pick they better play it without any hesitation.

I surveyed bunch of young kids in their late teens and early 20s and they told me they listen to music on Pandora. All of them have Smart Phones. Adam and his team should check this out and target them with Adam's music.

At first I thought yes to the collab with Kris only because Adam liked Kris a lot and they got along so well. On second thought, I always felt Adam had to hold back singing with Kris and that wouldn't be fair to Adam or us. I was very surprised coming on here today not to see the new single and cover art news.
I'm glad they've gone with this single, I love it, love the lyrics, so meaningful, love the beat too. And the Bruno link has got to work in his favour.
And @anon 3.07pm, NCOE is a dance track, it actually has a faster bpm than both Cuckoo and Trespassing.
I just hope they don't have such a long gap between the song release and the video release this time.

3:07 and 4:54, I feel your pain. He should have released Naked Love. Who cares about the title, young people would have loved it. Who makes these decisions? I honestly don't know. I heard NCOE is three years old, too, like BTIKM. Oh well, here's hoping it will get played and on the charts. Maybe Bruno's name will help.

As for a Kris collab...I luv both guys, and even tho they don't see each other, I think they have remained friends. Kris said they text each other, Adam has said how great Kris' new song is. And Kris mentioned Adam's CD release date in an interview! Plus...they are the best example of how two people from very different backgrounds can get along n become great friends! So, I would luv a collab, just not now. Adam's got so much going on! But maybe in the future, a charity concert would be great!

I really like NCOE as a second single. In a perfect world I would chose Cuckoo,but radio play is far from a perfect world. Adam needs a radio hit and if this is the song that will do it then bring it on! This will give Adam the chance for more singles that are his. But I do think the Bruno connection will help and getting Bruno fans to vote and request too will be huge. Adam wants success and he will do whatever it takes and his vocals are amazing on what we heard so far. Remember it is not the finished track we heard. It will be very dance pop!I predict a smash hit!!!

Why not they are friends and that is what is important to Adam As a fan I think Adam is enjoying this colab stuff. He inspires alot of people with his pipes and amazing spirit. He works so hard and I do not question him. He knows what he wants and how to go after it. At least he doesn't shit on people. I support what ever he chooses.

Jadam NZ 4:03, You said it perfectly. Adam could take the risk with Trespassing or Cuckoo, but then if it didn't work, it would be awful. If Adam is to capitalize on the BM connection, now is his chance. Lots of artsist use the connections of other artists make these conncections to attract the public eye. I also agree that Adam may have wanted Trespassing as the single, but IMO, Trespassing will be the third single. Hopefull, by then, he can take a bigger risk with an edgier song. I LOVE CUCKOO and TRESPASSING and want them to be singles, too. Let's not forget that the whole CD will be full of great music. There may be a hit in there that we haven't heard yet.

And yes, I love Naked Love! Provocative title, great hook. Maybe that one will grab attention, too. I'll support NCOE will all my strength. The final version should be great! Sung live on stage...WOW!

Forgot this: As to the AI connection, I think most of the contestants appreciate the chance they had on the show, but the most successful alums want to grow beyond it and have successful careers. As Adam said, being from AI carries a stigma with many people. Sure, we'll enjoy seeing Adam perform on AI and it is great exposure, but let's hope that soon he is not feel the need to do it. Kelly and Carrie don't need it anymore.

Why shouldn't ADAM & Kris collaborate? It doesn't necessarily mean a vocal duet ... they could write a song together ... one with a message that EVERYONE can relate to ... not just the fans ... non fans as well. As for AI ... why should ADAM distance himself from a TV SHOW with such a large viewing audience? ANY TV appearance is a WIN situation for any artist to get their music out to the masses. AND get paid for doing it!!! I hope ADAM continues to go on AI every season so that MILLIONS of people can be ENTERTAINED by the BEST VOICE on the PLANET!!! That's JMHO!!

Yes @7:56 I too love the attitude and grit of 'Trespassing' and 'Cuckoo'. That in your face attitude is brilliant and hits an international appeal. Is the US as ready as the rest of the world?????

You do know that NCOE actually has a faster bpm than both Cuckoo and Trespassing.

An Adam & Kris collaboration? Hmmmmm, I’d rather see Adam collaborate with a BIG NAME and VERY POPULAR ARTIST which could benefit him enormously.

Although I prefer BTIKM to NCOE, it’s a good, safe song and hopefully it will give Adam the radio exposure he needs. I don’t care who write songs for Adam, as long as they’re the very best songs for him, and just because Bruno Mars wrote NCOE, it doesn’t necessarily mean Bruno Mars’ fans will support it.

I’m in the Naked Love camp. Loved this song at first listen. The melody is gorgeous and the lyrics are delicious.

As for American Idol, it’s the show that kickstarted Adam’s pop music career and he never has a bad word to say about. Let’s face it, we all loved seeing Adam sing WWFM and Aftermath on this show and it seems we’re going to be in for another treat this year. I will always remember Kelly Clarkson as the 1st person who won American Idol from which she’s enjoying continued success .... and even though I’m not a fan of c&w music, I think of Carrie Underwood as being the 1st person to win American Idol as a c&w singer.

Idol is a double-edged sword. I love seeing Adam on it and I'll watch whenever he is on. But Idol does have that "manufactured star" factor that many people have a problem with. I don't myself, but....

I just want Adam to be big enough to be able to do without it if he chooses. He shouldn't have to depend on it.

I want him to be able to move on the his OWN edgier music and not have to compromise for the more concservative, same-old same-old tastes of the American public. I know we'll all do whatever we can to make NCOE a hit. Buy, request, view, vote, etc..

And I like Kris. I think he's a real artist and he doesn't need to hit the high notes for that. If he is in any way representative for America, then I think America has a good old soul, it's sensitive, open-minded and friendly to people that are different. That might be a good country to live in. The American glam thing is just the big cherry on top of everything else (..or the center of the Universe as described by the ..Berts!)

Those who don't like Adam to be in a relationship with a gay guy, need a re-think. There is no other way other than the one stated that Adam can experience the magnitude of true unconditional love. Adam emphasised that plain and clear and laughed at those who linked him romantically with straight guys. In other words, those who do not want Adam to be in a relationship with a gay guy are simply denying Adam the profound experience of being in love. Why would anyone wish something like that on Adam who fundamentally is all about love and connection.

Although I liked Kris on Idol because of his genuine friendship with Adam, I would not really want a duet between Adam and Kris unless Adam wanted it of course. I always thought Adam had to take his voice down a bit when singing in a group on Idol (actually quite a bit). That's not fair to Adam. He needs to shine with that voice which cannot be denied. Regarding Adam's chemistry, yes, you could put anyone (or thing!) next to Adam and chemistry would be there. Adam's light is so bright it is blinding. He is like the sun!
