JAK here.........I think it's wonderful and hopefully we will get some good video of the performances. Can't wait to see what songs they choose to cover....Don't Stop Me Now--Please!

Anonymous said...

@JAK Hopefully they will do a dvd of it to purchase! Love Don't Stop Me Now and Adam mentioned in an interview he would love to do Another One Bites the Dust. Love of My Life would bring me to tears. So happy this all worked out after the cancellation of the Sonisphere. Guess it's true about the saying when one door closes another one opens!

Whoa! Whoa! Adam performing with Queen. I love their videos and their little stage acts like the one...Adam brandishing and Brian May running in little genteel steps following Adam with his shrill guitar! Adam has already said he would be singing, Another One Bites The Dust. I like, I Want To Break Free. He'll also most likely be doing Bohemien Rhapsody too. Yea Adam, you and Queen are the champions! :)

I'm not sure we really comprehend how huge this is for Adam. What a tribute to great talent - both past and present.

@7:45 It really is so huge it boggles my mind! This was always a dream Adam had that I am sure he can't believe is happening. To me, this is the greatest compliment Adam can get to sing in place of the great Freddie Mercury and do it with his own style, impeccable voice and stage presence!

I'm so proud of Adam -and thankful he's getting recognition he so deserves for his unique talent. Wish I could be there in England this summer-but my heart will be there.Queen is a legendary band -and a smart one!

I love don't stop me now too JAK, one of my favourites.
We went to see an Australian Queen tribute band here a few years ago, they were brilliant, the lead singer did a very good impression of Freddie, also saw We will Rock You. Suuch good music.
Still hoping to be at one of the Hammersmith shows.

I just saw this link of some 'young adults' dancing to DTRH, great constumes and vision of Adams song.

For some unknown reason, SingBerts totally love, Down The Rabbit Hole, one of their top favourites; this one completely written by Adam and some other songs too. :)

Adam will surpass you know who before long. Adam will sustain. Adam will dominate.

Yes, HK fan! Thanks for the link! We need to keep Adam in the q102 poll. I just voted a bunch. I don't want to see him knocked out. VOTE!

@8:25 Adam has passed JD by one spot arrow up. JD arrow down on Amazon. It is a bump because JD sang on idol, just wait till Adam sings NCOE on idol. He will kill it. I know maybe we shouldn't discuss JD on here, but does anyone know what type of microphone he was using. It gave the sound of autotune to his voice. Of course that is never anything Adam will need. Just curious about it.

I accidentally stumbled on a video of JD singing the National Anthem and if someone wants to know the difference between an all-out scream and a sophisticated Adam wail, then they would get a very clear picture of the difference from the video. I'm not trying to ridicule, just pointing out a difference. By the way, if you have not heard Adam sing the National Anthem for the Steven Spielberg award ceremony, you might have missed something.

why do we talk about other entertainers on here? It only jinxes Adam. It was a vocoder. Adam probably got a bump from the NNN award show too.

It's certainly fair to ask what kind of mic someone used or to talk about who is ahead of Adam on the charts in order to get some purchasing or voting going but, beyond that,I agree with 10:19.

I've seen some not-so-nice remarks about Bruno Mars on NCOE threads. All we do when we say such things is alienate fans of other singers and some of those could be POTENTIAL fans of Adam, as long as we don't colour their feelings about him.

IMHO, BM is very talented and, if I weren't an Adam fan yet, that kind of comment would annoy me and rub off on him, not the poster. Like it or not, people read him online at least a little bit through us.

@ anon @ 6:00 am

ABSOLUTELY AGREE!
Didn't even SEE anything else as page opened right about at "not so nice conments about BM" in the above post.

Come on fans!~~ Are we HELPING Adam who we love??? .... jeeeez, I don't think so if that is what's happening. Think what your'e doing, knock it off.
Anon @ 6:00 is 100 % right. It rubs other fans totally the wrong way. We want Adam LOVED and respected by others, especially IN the music industry and THEIR fans.
How would WE feel reading trash from others' fans...?? We know, we freakin hate it, so let's not add to it.
Let's be happy Adam got a great song from a very prominent artist and hope it's the SMASH hit he deserves.
Now on to reading the other posts I didn't get to look at yet. Please, let's be nice.
Hope NCOE is a HUUUGE radio smash hit-Hit-HIT!!.

HK Fan and others: If you want to vote on Q102, be my guest. I won't vote on any site where I need to sign up or be on twitter/facebook to vote. Got enough s**t on my computer.

:)

I didn't have to sign in to vote on the q102 poll unless I did it wrong.

Great to know that Adam is rising on Amazon way BEFORE his AI appearance. He's gonna kick some major butt AFTER the appearance.

And YES, PLEASE do not criticize other artists on this site or any other site. It only makes Adam look bad by association and hurts Adam in the eyes of the public. BM's song is a great boost for Adam, and we should have nothing bad to say about it. One way we can really help Adam is to not come across as hateful bashers. Adam sure doesn't do it and neither should we.

you didn't need to sign on to the q102 site with twitter/facebook or any other way, just vote. But it doesn't matter any more anyways as he lost to David Cook.

I don't understand the desire to say unkind things about other singers. If you don't like them, ignore them. As one old enough to remember, Bruno Mars reminds me of Sammy Davis Jr. He was an electric performer and Bruno has that spark. Good for him, he's earned his success. And I'm really glad Adam had a chance to record the beautiful song Bruno wrote.

I love Bruno Mars and Adam Lambert. If people would take a minute to realize that Bruno is the performer that beat Adam out for the grammy. Did either one of them start hate wars? No. Instead they collaborated on Adam's next cd. Any fan of Adam's that wants to hate on Bruno needs to take a lesson from them. Get along. Respect. Bruno gave Adam and Adam had no sour grapes but respect for Bruno. He has complimented his songs many times. Come on. I don't have twitter or I'd say the same thing there (in less words of course). Respect and appreciate.

Adam is one heck of a super classy guy. Dissing other artists just throws a negative vibe which is'nt respectful of Adam. Better to direct the energy in a positive light towards promoting the new single and upcoming album.

All the international stars are recognizing Adam in admiration.

@Lam MY, I also love Adam's rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, but my absolute favorite is his performance at the Miramar Naval base during his time on Idol when he was in San Diego. He did it acapella and it was sung perfectly, not too over the top, but just individual enough to make it strong and memorable. His vocal training is very evident, singing "banner" correctly which is a pet peeve of anyone with vocal training. The last word "brave" was sung with a separate breath, giving it such meaning. The video on YT was taken by a Navy wife and there were a few others. Adam also received an award. I also love his theatre side and hope one day he'll do an album of favorites just for variety, as he is so versatile and I'm greedy. I want it all, blues, rock, pop, etc. Adam should never be labeled or put in a box, as some one dimensional singers. He has so much to offer, as we all know.

@ HKfan, I am so thrilled for you to be seeing Adam in London! I hope you will be able to give us a full report of your Adam adventure! I envy you and any that will see this historic concert! I would gladly pay for a video and hope Queen will video it for Adam and Queen fans. I still am not over Adam singing The Show Must Go On from the EMAs. I'm also happy for all of the fans that had made travel plans for the Sonisphere concert and went to a lot of expense for this one in a lifetime concert for many. I really appreciate Queen's effort not to disappoint so many fans. They are the best!

I also agree with the many posters on this site that bashing Bruno Mars or other successful artists does nothing but shed a poor light on Adam's fandom and provokes uneeded backlash against Adam. We all have artists that we like and some that doesn't do anything for us and opinions are fine as long as it doesn't get really insulting or nasty. The Glamberts got a lot of negativity soon after Idol and I think now we have a much better image with DJs, etc and are known as being loyal, passionate fans, instead of rabid, rude pearl clutchers that was annoying. I think we're a great, diverse, loyal group that recognizes greatness and wants the world to appreciate what Adam has to offer. I'm proud to be a part of this very special group and like input from all ages, countries, sexual orientation, etc. I admire and respect Adam for his kindness and openess and generousity to other performers. His loving spirit is a big part of who he is and sends a positive energy that makes everyone feel good. It will serve him well.
