Loved it in London's Dragon Attack.

I was flipping channel when I saw an interview of Lance Bass on Showbiz Tonight. He was once a member of N-Sync who came out in 2006 as gay in People mag.
He produced a documentary called Mississipi I Am about how his state turned on him after coming out. He was joined by other teens who have come out and how they are being treated by the right wing conservative in their state of which his family is.
He said he knew he was gay at the age of 5 and he wished once to just wake up and not be gay, so how can people say it's a choice?
He mentioned about helping students who came out have their own alternative prom so they can have this same experience as their straight classmates.
I believe this will open some closed minds. Maybe it will help if we tweet about it.
I guess I see a movement on the rise with this and eventually hopefully radio will open up for ADAM!
Let's help people be aware of this documentary.

I am a conservative (you'd say right wing) Christian (you'd say fool) who happens to love Adam and hope that all my best wishes for him come true and that he gets the recognition in the US that he deserves so much. While I don't know Lance Bass that well, I'm sorry for what he, Adam and other LGBTQ people have had to endure from ignorant people.

What disturbs me is that you and so many liberals want to generalize all concervatives into the gay hating basket. I'm quite sure that there are many democrats who are not exactly waiving the rainbow flag. Studies show that most black people are democrats and studies also show that most black democrats do not condone the gay lifestyle and are opposed to gay marriage.

The following is a generalization and when you really read it and understand it you find out how inane it is: "A canary is a bird. A canary is yellow. Therefore, all yellow birds are canaries."

Many of us "yellow birds" are NOT canaries. I hope you and some others on this site get my point.

Yes, in my mind when I hear "conservative Christian" I have a gut reaction "oh yes the ones who believe that the earth is only five thousand years old and that Adam and Eve shared the Garden of Eden with dinosaurs!"
Similar to the gut reaction my former neighbor had when I mentioned I was a liberal Democrat.
She said "well I'm surprised to hear that you're one of those people who don't believe in God and has no morals." (I didn't miss her when she moved away).

Pretty unpleasant observations on both sides. I have no idea when we became so mean to each other in this country but I'm really sick of it.

I'm 11:30am. Where in my post or how did you think I am a liberal and that I generalize conservatives as gay hating people? Please read again my post as I am presenting only what Lance Bass was saying (I also don't know him until this clip) about his documentary.

FYI, I come from a conservative traditionalist practicing devout Catholic family and I happen to be a devoted die-hard fan of ADAM from day 1. At the same time, I am not judgmental of my fellowmen.
