Adam is an absolute natural. He is the perfect interviewee. Learned a lot about his future plans including TV possibilities, new album...TP was the best album of the year yet radio ignored him. He learned a lot about single selection and he said his songs shot to the top internationally. It was successful and critically acclaimed plus like he said, it went #1 in the US. He is humble yet confident. He is such a superstar and is getting more work because of his natural appeal, talent and more. This is only the beginning for him. He will be in every aspect of the entertainment industry. He is a born director and we can expect the world from him.

Wow! We learned so much from this intervew!!
There will be no Trespassing tour, per se, but he WILL be working on a third album and getting it out sooner that it took him for TP. That is fantastic news. Whenever he DOES tour, he will certainly incorporate TP songs into the concert, no worries. So, NEW MUSIC in 2013. He doesn't seem bummed by TP's so-so showing in the U.S. He's ready to move on and UP. Always positive.
I also love that he's talking to "people" about more TV gigs of some sort. The word is finally getting out that he is a NATURAL in front of the camera. He's got ALL the traits of a star, and we've listed those here many times.
Love that the DIVA show will show his humorous side with skits, etc. This could be the breakthrough show for him.
7:15, Everything you said is so perfectly true. We haven't seen someone like him in a long time. He's the whole package.
2013 will be an incredible year, and I am on for the ride!

Adam is so diplomatic. He's not saying that his singles didn't go up the charts BECAUSE US radios did not play them. I mean, NCOE was written by Bruno Mars. If Bruno had released it, it would have played on radio 24/7. But, who cares, right? Adam is a great, great multi-talented artist who is always optimistic about future projects. LOVE HIM!!!!

while a postive interview, can't help feeling sad that Adam must be disappointed in the US radio situation, and I assume hoped for a grammy nom just like we did. makes me crazy what is deemed 'successful selling songs' via radio, pure crap most of the time. i am glad that adam is so busy he does not dwell on some of this and always sees the light. He is also experienced enough to know that longevity is what is most impt and getting new opportunities all the time.

I love Adam for being able to stay positive. Of course he feels disappointment that his singles didn't become hits and I am sure he was hoping for a Grammy nom for the album. Adam just keeps learning with the ups and downs of this music biz. I am happy he will put out another album and much quicker. Sad too that there will be no more singles off Trespassing or a U.S. tour. But sounds like he has some interesting projects in discussion that hopefully work out. I too believe in"Everything happens for a reason" as cliche as it might sound.Adam has such determination and creativity,he will be around more a very long time!!!

Adam doesn't have to be sad about the singles on US radio. Adam, just know that your full album (and that's the DELUXE cd) is being played almost daily on millions and millions of Ipods worldwide. AND your Trespassing album was reviewed internationally and received excellent reviews with rave comments from people who actually KNOW what good music is. To me, great music is a voice than can bring out emotions in people. And Adam's music touches your heart in so many different ways. CAN'T WAIT FOR HIS NEXT CD. WE KNOW THAT IT'S GOING TO BE DIFFERENT. BUT HOW???

How sad that it appears Trespassing seems to be a wash and he's moving on, despite the reviews the album got by the experts. I think he needs to take a look at the powers that be who chose the first two singles, which weren't even HIS songs. There are management companies who forge their way into getting their artists played and then there aren't. Much lesser known people have hit the charts immediately with mediocre material. WHY has this not happened for Adam?

Absolutely Love everything about this artist! Glad for new music, but I am still in awe of the wonderful tracks on Trespassing. Why no radio play?? Radio play= listener awareness+chart position=sales! I know people that did not know Adam had released a 2nd album. They hadn't heard him on the radio. Sad!

I love how, of everything that was discussed in the interview, all the comments so far specifically discuss the Trespassing single situation -- and, yah, that's what I'm coming here for too.

First question I gotta ask is HOW his singles are determined. He once said it was totally RCA's decision. Another time I think he said it was a collaborative decision.

I mean, if you had asked me, before any singles were released, to listen to the album a few times and choose the three singles to be released, I would have NEVER chosen the three that were released. They just aren't radio friendly.

But the problem is this: he DOES have radio-friendly singles on the album, at least three, maybe five, but they didn't choose one of them.

Cuckoo. I mean, what are they thinking in NOT releasing that song? Because a 4-letter word? It's almost like them not releasing "Fever" because of "There he goes..." Cuckoo would be a successful radio track.

Shady. Naked Love. Chokehold. At least these three.

And then there is a whole other issue as to why incredible songs like Runnin' and Map were relegated to bonus track status.

It's weird because Adam was the MASTER at picking the right songs on Idol. In this situation is it really because RCA has the ultimate decision and their "research" is flawed, or does Adam really have a big hand in this and he's not making as good decisions about singles as he did on Idol?

Makes me so mad because the album is so damn good.

Well, maybe he'll have some help with his appearance this weekend and they'll release Cuckoo or something.

What a great informative interview. So much exciting stuff going on with Adam. He is so amazing, the man is so well rounded that I have a feeling he is going to be involved with many ventures, in the entertainment business.

In no way should Adam feel bad about his Trespassing CD..My gosh it went to #1 on the charts in the U.S., not including his international success..He is a INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR!!!

More Queenbert concerts, I know that is going to happen for sure!

So excited about his next album, oh my gosh it is such great news! I can't wait to hear new music from him! I want some Rock from him, but that's my personal choice! LOL I will love anything he does, he is so talented, I will listen to him 4-ever!!!

Adam is multi-talented and the world is at his feet, it is his for the taking!

Plus can't forget to say, he is so good looking..that's an extra bonus for everyone to enjoy!

Adam mentioned the Philippines and its where I am, he has a lot of fans here and I can say that Filipino fans are very loyal to their idols. I have been an Adam fan since his days in American idol. I watched GNT last 2010 and looking forward to his concert next year.
