JAK here...........A great review and well deserved. I know a lot of us wish Adam's stage time had been longer.......but to paraphrase a line from the film Steel Magnolias......."I'd rather have 35 minutes of wonderful than a whole show of nothing special".

Fortunately there were several good performances other than our Adam, but, he and Queen were the birthday cake, the icing and the cherry on top of the evening.***

***or in my case, of the morning! : ))

Stellar review for our Adam and Queen! Hope lots of people read these reviews and pay attention. Adam is so special. I think a lot of eyes were opened on Friday night. JAK, kudos to you for staying up all night for the show. I got a good night's sleep and reveled in the videos all day today. Adam is definately leaving his mark, one song at a time.

I noticed on the high notes Ruess, spoke the words instead of singing them. Don't get me wrong I like him a lot, love his music, but he could not compare to Adam..

I don't think I have heard Adam sound or look any better, than he was at this concert.

Love him or hate him, no one can even come close to his talent, and sex appeal.

Off topic, but I just read on a thread below that Avicii's next single is Hey Brother?? Not LMD. Who knows how this is decided. Avicii did say that LMD would be A single, not necessarily the NEXT single. Hope it does become a single, period.

@ DRG....I not only stayed up for the show, I stayed up!
It was over about the time I wake up daily, so I just made my tea and toast and wrote letters till dawn. I am one of a small group of far flung friends who still correspond by snail mail......we all love beautiful stationery and REAL pens, you know, the kind with INK!

Today I've watched the Queenbert Show another 3 times on different locations and "saved" them, hopefully they won't all disappear.......one can never be too careful when preserving an Adam appearance. Sounds more than a little cuckoo I know! Oh well, I'm the right age to be eccentric ! : ))

@JAK-totally agree with you! Adam had about 25 minutes of SPLENDIDNESS which will be forever engrained in our memories. Call me crazy, but I actually said a prayer for Adam right before his performance began. My prayer was answered with "tour de force"! I was bursting with pride due to that earth shattering deliverance. BRAVO says it all!.....And, JAK, not to forget your question on another thread, my main residence is in Scottsdale, Arizona, with homes also in Jerusalem, Israel, Washington, DC, Paducah, Kentucky and South Beach, Florida. I have twice seen Adam perform live and both concerts were in Scottsdale, AZ. I lost my voice both times from screaming in ecstasy over our darling main sqeeze. Margarita Lady

@Avicii News a fan site said LMD would be #3 and Hey Brother #4.
As long as it is released as a single I really don't care.

Shirley who wrote the review for THR is a big Adam fan....the camera panned on her during the live stream and she was right into it.....waving her arms and singing along. I have now watched the entire set about 6 times and Adam's voice last night was incredible. The more I watch it the more I'm amazed. My favourite of course is WWTLF but I think Adam did a much better job on both AOBTD and ACLTCL........two songs in his lower register.

@ DRG.....I think Avicii was thinking ahead to sales strategy when he put this album together.......throw in as many music genres as possible. I hear country, disco, bluegrass, funk and others. He certainly has the money for as many singles as he wants, I 'm pretty confident LMD will be a single.

As you know I come from the Dream Big tribe of Glamberts!

Does anybody know where I can find a playlist schedule like the one we had for last night?

Whoa! Adam and Queen closed the show with grace in dazzling spectacle. I like Adam's aesthetic all-black long-sleeve soft shirt and sexy black pants and those glitter-stud boots. This shapes Adam's slim silhouette body. Yea Queen at their excellence; now Roger's Son on the big drums augments the Queen sound very beautifully. I like this version of We Will Rock You...Adam was kind of reciting with boom-boom-bang of low drums from Roger and Son. Well Adam 'raps' better than the renown ones I've heard. The last set could have been given at least 50 minutes...but still very very good already.
Yes I enjoyed the beautifully scripted Hollywood report; kind of giggled over what was stated as Adam's "sick range". Yes indeed though far from sick in its literal sense. The WWTLF video broke down; must have crashed. lwl! Oh the report said what I commented; that Adam channelled Elvis besides Freddie. Also quite cute, about Adam's groovy moustache would make Freddie proud. lwl!

@ Margarita Lady......Paducah !!!!....I've got relatives all over that area, Paducah and Hickman. Second and third cousins by the score! Small world. Really small in your case! How wonderful to have several places to call home.
I have imaginary homes in all the wonderful places I've been fortunate enough to visit. But in real life I shuttle between Tampa and a cabin in Ocala Nat'l Forest! My wings have been clipped, I only fly hither and yon...........JAK

Hey there Margarita and JAK, my two dear Americanos! lwl! Mmm remember what I said, about the three of us having some extraterrestrial ancient past connections. lwl! Glad I toured Las Vegas. Our tour bus let us down to wander a bit outside MGM Hotel and we watched the 'Pirates' show outside The Mirage. Adam's boots reminds me of Las Vegas, heavily decked in neon lights. Got up to the casino and pulled a couple slot machines...didn't strike anything but I saw a lady glued to the jackpot machine and a pile of coins gushed out. Then I thought...Wah so easy! lol!

@ Lam-my

I've always thought I must be one of the few people in the world with absolutely no gambling gene.
My husband and kids all loved the casinos on cruise ships...I watched the water......

When I came back from a trip to Europe, I was telling them about the casino in Monte Carlo and they all wanted to know if I won or lost. I said "neither, you know I don't gamble, I looked around then left and spent the next 2 hours sitting on a turquoise velvet sofa in the Hotel de Paris lobby talking to a French nun....she and I made up identities and backstories for everyone who passed thru the lobby.
We had fun."

My grandson was about 14 at the time and he was so disappointed in me, he said "but Grandma don't you know that James Bond gambles there?"

JAK-I was born in Paducah, Kentucky, and also have tons of family there. Now, I know, you are my long lost cousin. I knew you were special from the very beginning. Have you heard anything from Grandson or must we wait until he reenters the real world? He sounds like a, "Don't Stop Me Now", kind of guy. Throw us a bone when you can, no matter how lean it is. And next.....

Lam-my-if I could have a cousin in Singapore, it would surely be you. I have always loved your imaginative posts on anything Adam. Sounds like you are still on cloud nine from the performance last night. I know that I am still extremely elated and full of joy for our beloved guy. I am so proud to be a Glamhopper and have virtual family like you and JAK. Margarita Lady

@ Margarita Lady...not a peep from him. He was going to the Sat. performances and then hanging out all night...he has to fly home Sunday. I'm pretty sure he hasn't slept in 3 days!......JAK

@ Lam-my....Americanos is anyone from the Americas....
Actually that's the masculine form....Americanas is the feminine. But who cares?..... Besides, we can't see each other....Margarita Lady and I might be big burly guys in cyber disguise! : )))) .. JAK

JAK and Margarita Lady
Fantastic cyber disguise rhyme!
Yea I googled and they say it can be an expresso cafe/coffee and so that got me worried thinking I've called both of you, two hot cups of coffee. lol! I already nicknamed Margarita Lady...with connotation to an effervescent jug of margarita and now she is expresso coffee. lwl!
