Adam Lambert and Chris Colfer’s Sexy Duet! Sorry, Klaine: Starkurt Is Pole Dancing

None of us want to believe that Glee’s Kurt (Chris Colfer) would disregard his fiancé Blaine (Darren Criss) and start something up with hot new guy Elliott, aka Starchild, (Adam Lambert). But based on the latest tweets from the Glee set, their definitely seems to be something going on between the duo shippers have already named “Starkurt.”

The two are spending time together, that much we know. They’re going to end up in some compromising positions, that’s for sure. But will Kurt actually act on anything? That’s still up in the air. We’ve seen no evidence yet that Kurt takes it to the point of physically cheating on his fiancé.
That said, Kurt and Starchild do sing an incredibly sexy duet in Glee Season 5, Episode 9: “Frenemies.” On November 20, Chris Colfer announced on Twitter that he’d “Spent all morning pole dancing with@adamlambert and now I can't move a muscle... This is my life, these are my choices... #Glee.”

Pole dancing, huh? That certainly sounds...erotic. Adam quickly tweeted back, “@chriscolfer Hahahaha but all done with great style!” Chris responded, “@adamlambert Ooooh yeah! We some classy scrippas!”

He later posted another tweet about learning “exotic dance moves.” So what song will Kurt and Elliott be performing that requires the use of stripper poles and exotic dancing? Based on song spoilers from the episode, we know that the boys will be performing, The Darkness’s “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”

Sample lyrics: “I wanna kiss you every minute, every hour, every day / You got me in a spin but everythin' is A.OK! / Touching you, touching me / touching you, god you're touching me.”

On the one hand, Kurt and Elliott are noted “frenemies” and their dynamic is more that of rivals than of lovers. But think about it: Couldn’t that sort of passion easily pivot to romance? Is that the very definition of a love-hate relationship?

We’re not saying Kurt acts on anything. We don’t know. But he and Elliott are singing a “Frenemies” duet with a whole heck of a lot of erotic undertones. And we’re more than a little bit worried.

Glee is moving to Tuesdays next year:
Glee is making a big move!
E! News has learned that Fox is shifting Glee back to Tuesday nights at 8 pm, starting Feb. 25. Greg Kinnear's new dramedy series Rake will be taking the plum Thursday night slot, airing after American Idol. Rake premieres Jan 23.
