I wonder which item this was and what he was thinking. I watched some parts of the show; the ones at the beginning were not so exciting so perhaps Adam must be thinking how to hit it up or jazz it up a bit. lwl! Oh yes the MC asked Adam if he might one day sing a Chinese song...actually I suggested this to Adam two years ago. He's more than capable of doing that. When he said: xie xie and followed with wo ai ni...the intonation was excellent, without the usual western twang. Nothing wrong with a twang though. Adam has a very good ear with regard hearing / reproducing sounds in language. Perhaps he could release a Chinese single for the China market...if only 1-2% of the people buy his single, that can reap 13-26 million.
Great info,Lam-my. A Chinese single would really endear Adam to his many Chinese fans, a huge market! I also agree that Adam has a great ear for foreign I would love to see him do it!
Hi there Funbunn! What a pleasant surprise; yea Adam's management could liaise with a producer in China; one Adam knows and trusts; the latter very important. Like Trespassing would sell like hotcakes if properly launched, factoring in some of the problems rampant there. Nothing to lose really, just give it a go now that the MC even suggested openly about Adam singing a Chinese song. Nice too hear from you, Diamond nurse!
@ Lam-my and @ funbunn40........JAK here.....I just remembered that I know a song easy to learn in Chinese! It's a snap.....but not exactly something Adam would sing...... It's...Jesus Loves Me!
In my kindergarten we taught the children songs in four languages...French, German, Spanish and Chinese! It was such fun planning musical programs and to lead a stage full of 4 and 5 year olds singing 'Oh Christmas Tree' in perfect German was fantastic!
I really miss kindergarten! Best 20 years of my life!
@ Bored How can anyone be bored at such a happy time of the year? Get out, do something nice for someone. Watch children eating candy canes, singing songs, Help serve meals at a shelter for the homeless. Get the names and ages of a family from your church and buy new shoes and sweaters for everyone.
Give a donation to the local animal rescue kennels. Better yet, give a donation and adopt a pet. You won't be so bored if you have a kitten or cosy canine to cuddle on Christmas Eve.
JAK...That sounds really interesting but preferably I think, start with an upbeat perhaps even rock rhythm Chinese song. Aim at the younger demographic. But I sure like your Jesus Loves Me song sung in Chinese. I remember singing a few French songs, one that goes: La sur la colina... Also Gaudeamus igitur...Juvenes dum sumus...Post jucundam juventutem...(Latin). I like some of these archaic songs. :)
Prbabably just a fleeting moment in his mind. No worries. It would really be cool if Adam recorded a song in Chinese for his Chinese fans. Of course they'd love it! (and buy it!) And looks soooo handsome in that tux. Perfection.
It is just an expression about something happening on stage. He not bored. Sure he had plenty of expressions through the night. So happy and proud of him. He deserves every accolade he gets and many more. The Japanese and Chinese people realize what a talent and great guy Adam is. I appreciate that more than I can put into words. Sue
Adam is in a great place. Who wouldn't want to fly around the world and pick up two awards! Adam knows he is loved across the globe. I'm sure he is very thankful as are his millions of fans.

Unreality Primetime has a nice article on Adam and the Huading Music Awards in Shanghai. It's easy to leave a nice comment.
