I pray that someday (soon) Adam will get to perform with David Bowie. Bowie has been one of Adam's biggest inspirations. I wonder if Brian May and Roger Taylor know Bowie personally? I'd love for them to tell Bowie that Adam is indeed the real deal and would be worthy of Bowie's attention. It would be a dream come true for Adam and for US!
If you live in the Chicago area, or will be visiting next fall, please visit the Museum of Contemporary Art in the city. In September, they will begin a new major exhibit featuring David Bowie, his stage costumes, his art and performance props and other items. I'm going for sure. The museum in located just east of the old Water Tower, east of Michigan Ave., right near the lakefront. It's a wonderful place.

yes Adam has wanted to collaborate with Bowie for a long time. Hope he gets to one day.

Lily Allen on music industry: 'Record companies are terrified of taking risks'
make the Lambowie collab happen NOW:))
I hope Adam gets lots of opportunities to be the solo artist he is.
@DRG
Yes, they do.
I don't see any likeness between Adam and David Bowie, and Adam is a much better singer.
Never been a fan of David Bowie.
But I'm a Glambert for life.

It's obvious you don't get David Bowie or understand his importance for Adam & what they both are all about. Nor do you get how significant a person, singer, musician, performer Bowie is in music, a true living legend. And I'm sure Adam will be, too.
Bowie is mainly retired and friend to Nile Rogers.
Hah, Bowie just released a new record!
He's been ill, but you don't know what he's doing behind the scenes. Besides an artist's work is never done... :)
The pic shows similarities in pics and poses. And that Bowie has had a great influence on Adam from early age, he has said it himself several times. This is not to compare them or start some sort of a stupid rivalry who's the better artist.
David Bowie is an icon.
No matter if you like him or not.
He's huge and will always be among the greatest in music.
True living legend!!!

You're obviously a diehard fan of David Bowie but there are others who are not interested in him, and we don't have to get him to be a fan of Adam. Get real!! It aint that deep.
I'm not a fan of David Bowie and I don't have to be a fan of his to be a fan of Adam. I adore Adam, his voice and his music.
Bowie is legend for more than his music - he is a living work of art.
I saw the Bowie show in Toronto this past fall (it's from the V&A) and it is awesome! I spent 3 hours at it.
You are given headsets which are an integral part of the experience - they are synched to all the videos and soundscapes so that no matter where you are in the exhibition, no matter what the timing, you are in the moment. Even if you're not a Bowie fan, it's an amazing and fun trip.
And I'm sure Adam will want to see it - maybe in Chicago (so, attention Glamberts) - not sure if the show will travel to LA.

If I were a diehard fan of Bowie (or anyone else), I would not be here on an Adam Lambert fan site. As an avid Adam fan I'm interested in anything that has been and is important to him, that has had a profound impact on his music career and personal development as a singer/performer. Too deep for you?
Haven't said that you need to be fans of Bowie. But as fans of Adam you should know that Bowie is one of his most important 'idols' and show some respect. You don't have to like Bowie to know & respect his status in music. Ignorance does not justify disrespectful behaviour.
3:09
You are the one who was disrespectful by you're 12:54 post.
I know who Bowie is and I know he's one of Adam's idol but still I am not a fan, never will be but I am forever a Glambert.
3.09pm
Saying I'm not a fan of David Bowie doesn't mean I'm ignorant and disrespectful. Being ignorant and disrespectful is not respecting someone's else view and you are not respecting the view of people who are not David Bowie fans.
3:09 has a point. Some Adam fans take every opportunity to point out they don't like somebody even when they know it is an idol of Adams. Why bother to say you don't like Bowie and insult Adam and others who admire Bowie. Saying nothing is fine.
12:33 is talking in circles about why what they do is only disrespectful when others do it.
By saying one is not a fan of David Bowie is not insulting Adam nor David Bowie fans nor fans of both. It's called being honest and honesty is one of the attributes Adam promotes.

FINALLY someone who gets my point, thank you so much!

Don't know which one of the posters you are I addressed earlier, sorry, but please read my posts again - haven't said ANYTHING about you or anyone here needing to be a fan of Bowie - and especially PLEASE read the post @1:32, thank you!
@2:33
You too, please read post @1:32!
There's a poster who's worth listening to!
Adam admires those who have the balls to verbalize their opinion/s.
The Adam fans who are also David Bowie fans just don't get it.
The current Featured Picture is a work of art and then some.
