And why wouldn't Adam eat from catering with the Idol crew? He's not some"diva" who demands special treatment or who thinks he is better than the others. That's just another thing I love about Adam; he is just so down to earth when working with other people no matter what the circumstances.

Adam is like a chameleon constantly changing his hair color, style and the kind of clothes he wears. And he always looks so good. Personally I think he looks better now than ever. Never a dull moment following the latest about Adam Lambert on this site.

12:54, maybe they expected Adam to be eating with the judges and instead he was eating with the crew, the camera people and such who may be the same as when Adam was on the show for season 8. Just guessing.

Maybe it never occurred to Adam to not eat with the crew.

Maybe all insider information comes from the crew and not from the judges. Judges are paid to judge and then they leave. Everything else usually stays and circulates within the company with crews and others. One way of networking. Getting corporate insight from those who are deeply involved and always there.

Whoever is tweeting via @IDOL_insider probably just loves Adam and wants him part of the corporate. Four tweets about Adam and one about CD. We understand the love. Don't we?

Rickey Minor, formerly AI band director, is now Jay Leno's band director. As of next Thur he will be out of a job. Word is that he and his band are going back to Idol for this season. What will happen to current AI band? How does this affect Michael Orland? Just wondering how this will all work out.

Current AI band might join Jimmy Fallon who is replacing Leno. Ricky and his band are back on Idol and Allison Iraheta will be one his back up singers. She was also accompanied Ricky on Leno couple of times as back up singer. Michael Orland has been part of Idol since the beginning helping contestants with their musical arrangements and other things. He won't go anywhere as long as AI is on TV. AI is still number one show no matter what the critics say about the show.

Per THR, Ray Crew will not be back. You could always google him to see what he is up to now.

After a two-year break from American Idol, Rickey Minor will return to take on the role of musical director. The accomplished arranger and producer left the Fox show after season nine in 2010 to lead The Tonight Show band. With NBC relinquishing Jay Leno's late-night throne to Jimmy Fallon, the door was open for an Idol return.

Naturally, that means Ray Chew and his Ray Chew Live band will not be back when season 13 launches in January."

Melvin or no Melvin, can't wait to see Adam on our screen again on American Idol. I suppose this means we'll need to make sure we tune in so we don't miss him!!!
