Now I've said before, each time Starchild MTN is posted, I listen and write comments. So similarly now; this probably is my 40th listen and writing on it perhaps 10th. lol! Will go listen now...Each time I watch this video, I see something I missed out the previous time; so let's see if I can see/feel something new. lol!

Adam's version of this song is astounding! Vocally off the charts and her performs it with everything! A+++++++++++++

The truth prevaileth! It seems almost funny to watch Adam as an added cast member to Glee...he oozes in talent soaring WAY above
anyone else on the entire show. (love Kurt but his like a kid looking towards his mentor. The show was sinking...and who better-er to bring it luster alive than
Adam. FINALLY people are waking up to the incredible versatility
and out the water brilliance of Mr Adam Lambert! SO happy for him.

love MTN and dreaded starting to watch gLEE just because of Adam but darn they have some good songs and productions. I think that Adam also admires all the glee staff when he found out all the time and work and professionalism that goes into it. I believe Chris will help guide him with the acting.

Okay, Adam has perfected his very subtle ability of getting down on the floor and getting back up in the standing position. It is so smooth, one might give it a pass. I actually noticed it from the start but because there are so many other actions, I didn't single this out. It's the same at his GNT concerts, he gets up and down on and from the floor so seamlessly; first he gets on his knees with legs folded and then voom stretches them out, lol! and in this case, started his up and down thumping on the floor. Mmm not easy. Chucking the hat and mic also needed some practice I think but easier than getting down on the floor and up again, lol! The twirling of the chandelier takes a sifu to coincide it with his singing. Now you know why it has gotten over 4 million views. Not done yet, his antiquated fashion, seals it with his mighty fine singing extravaganza.

Adam has been acting since he was a child. Why do people keep making comments about Adam needs help with his acting?

@1:00 I agree with you that Adam has been acting on stage for a long time, so it's not like he's a newbie. That being said, acting on TV may involve some different skills or techniques, just as acting on stage does. I think of Val Kilmer in The Ten Commandments and how I really wasn't impressed with his acting compared to Adam's, but maybe Val had a more difficult time with the larger body movements, having to speak louder, etc. and having it seem natural. I thought Adam's acting on Glee has been fantastic so far. When he was talking to Kurt in the coffee shop, for example, I thought he seemed very natural. When Adam did the guest spot on Pretty Little Liars, I didn't think his acting was good, but honestly I blame the director for that.

On the contrary, I think Adam's acting on PLL was superb. He can't act natural, in that brief scene because he was portraying a vampire, hesitant, pretentious; like casting suspicious glances and laughing a bit oddly, wearing cute fangs...in the train scene. That was superb acting portraying a vampire and not to be taken as poor acting! lol!

I like Adam's goofy acting on Divas a lot; especially crying under the piano and then later looking so dejected like a child whose toy broke into pieces, lol! Superb acting as a musical comedian. And then the blooper where he was supposed to tear the cushion that wouldn't give way. lol! He was supposed to be fuming with anger but when the cushion didn't give way, he looked more agog than angry. lol! The pounding of herbs to spray-mist his throat was really a goofball, with a squeaky, ee-eek, spray-gadget, lol! I hope to see Adam doing some goofy scenes on Glee; his partner-in-crime, NeNe is a Glee guest artist. The explosive chandelier really carried it way out another level. Adam seems to work well with chandeliers. lol!

Nobody would have been good in that bit on PLL. It was very awkwardly and poorly written. Adam has been great in everything else I have seen.

Anonymous said...

Oops now the blame has been shifted to the writer, director; let's see who else on the crew, to point fingers at; ah how about the train driver, swerving noisily; Mmm but that's just visual/audio effects, so perhaps the cameraman too must take some blame. Relax, it was well done; just a 5-minute scene.

Adam just posted By the rules YouTube vid on his twitter..is there some deeper meaning?

Anonymous said...

Never forget the fantasticly funny 'snakeskin boot' and 'umbrella-ella-ella' short vids - nothing to do with TV acting or professional vids, but they sure show that Adam is a born comedian! Like do also some of the best and most hilarious interviews.

Adam is a Chest of Treasures!!!!!
ILHSFM!!!

Adam is so great here. There isn't any need to criticize Glee or the other actors to make the point. Makes posts on this video are mean-spirited.

Love the current Featured Pic.

I like Adam's acting best in the Better Than I Know Myself video.

Face it , it's useless to argue a point with Lam-my, just give in and declare Adam's acting on PLL worthy of an Emmy. Even though it wasn't.

Anonymous said...

Forget PLL. He was meant to be a musical guest. He had fangs in and dressed like a vampire kind of hard to act natural. He was fine. But he was terrific in MTN a Katy or a GaGA.
That what the video is about!

Anonymous said...

Please don't exaggerate and hit below the belt. Since when did I say a 5-minute scene is worthy of an Emmy! Are you capable of lying too?

Lam-my

Anonymous said...

Lam-my, then stop repeatedly telling everybody who didn't like the acting in PLL that Adam was GREAT in it. Repeatedly.

Anonymous said...

oh the drama. lol

Anonymous said...

Is Adam in the UK?

Anonymous said...

I didn't care for Adam's quick stint on PLL, and I feel it probably came off a bit poorly for a cocktail of reasons, involving the weakness of the part & written exchange in and of itself, the actor & the director... doesn't really matter anyway

Anonymous said...

I didn't repeat! I merely responded to 2 different comments. Read carefully! This is a forum; if someone puts out a view, anyone can respond. The one that turned aggressive first is you! You don't know how to carry on a discussion properly. Again you are exaggerating...repeatedly means many times but I responded to two different comments...first one was that Adam's acting was not good on PLL. The second time, the blame was shifted to the writer/director. So it's once each, though they are related; how can you say it's repeatedly. Also I did not address my comment to "everybody". That's your own assumption. Again, are you prone to lying?

ADAM LAMBERT A NATURAL ACTOR- HE START SINGING AND ACT SICNE HE WAS 10 YEARS OLD NOW U KNOW-

Anonymous said...

@5:36 AM
I agree 100%

@3:56 AM
Good question. I've been asking myself that since I read it on his twitter account.

Maybe he's going to put it to new music? Maybe he's going to "play by the rules"

Anonymous said...

PLL doesn't count, IMO. It really wasn't an acting part at all. Just two or three short sentences, if that. I wouldn't judge him on it at all. I love the Glee scene in the cafe with Kurt. I think we see a real actor in Adam in that scene. Natural and unforced. Not campy or overdone. I think with practice and coaching, he can be a good actor. He has good instincts.

Very cool that he posted By the Rules on twitter. Hope it gets a lot of hits. I love that song!

Your comment is accurate unlike the moong-cha-cha ones that came before yours. The "10 years old" part is sooo cute. lwl!

Lam-my, that's why people get frustrated with you - you used this latest post to complain some more about the people above. Once wasn't enough?

Anonymous said...

Tis is beyond amazing Such talent.
Love you Adam.

@DRG

Adam has been acting and singing since he was 12 years old

glitzylady said...

@Anon 9:22 AM
Actually, I believe Adam has been acting and singing since he was 10 years old.. But he did say awhile back either in an interview or on twitter (can't recall exactly which at this moment..but I remember his comment) that if he were to go into acting, he felt he would need some classes and some coaching to hone his skills. Stage acting is a bit different than TV and movie acting. It does seem like he's doing a good job with it on GLEE, but even actors with experience take classes to improve their skills. I don't think @DRG misspoke when she commented above "I think with practice and coaching, he can be a good actor. He has good instincts."

Adam's newest song title;

"Someone's off her meds again"

I hear it's a comedic representation of a neurotic fan.

Don't you think I know that? I was actually turning in for the night, which means I had no intention of pointing out the comment of 6:28 to prolong it further. And then when I came back I saw 7:08 agreeing/emphasising 100% on the matter. Well, this is a debate and so I followed up, but not to "complain more about the people above" like you accused me of. If you think I'm referring to the people above, then I, myself is one of those above people. lol! By the way, I do not target the person unless they target at me first. In any discussion/debate, I go for the subject not the person! If you read my comment to 7:35, the "moong-cha-cha ones" refer to the subject "comment" in the sentence not a person or above persons as you have misread! My argument was only with 2:07 not you! nor any other person. Remember, all of you have no names!
Frankly, it was so unnecessary to bring up Adam's acting on PLL and judge that as "no good" based on a 5-minute scene. Well, I just took it as a debating point. By the way, in just one sentence, you have made 2 accusations about me. Oh it's okay when such people like you! get frustrated with me...the fewer the better in such a case.

I'm 2:07 am...I should add I LOVED the performance scenes on PLL. He and the band were perfectly awesome. It was just the brief scene with the lame dialogue for both Adam and the girl that could have been better...and I feel a good director could've shot the scene to make it look more natural or something. I guess judging by the comments, a few others agree with me. If Lam-my liked it, that's cool...she's entitled to her opinion too. I'm hoping for the day we see Adam in a sexy leading man movie role, followed by Sexiest Man Alive on the cover of People. ;)

Anonymous said...

Hi 2:07
I like your above, open-minded comment. As I've said, I just took up your viewpoint as a kind of discussion/debate. I was not "complaining" at all. Yea we should trash things out like this and thanks for clarifying what I originally thought would be some fun rather than turning it into accusations. Yea I think it's a matter of time for Adam to hit the cinema-scope.

"I do not target the person unless they target at me first. In any discussion/debate, I go for the subject not the person!"

Lam-my, you are such a LIAR!!!
You, pseudo-dimwit!

Anonymous said...

lam-my
LOL, you always go for the person.

Anonymous said...

Have read this People cover comment soooo many times over these 'Adam years' --- Couldn't some AO or fan club 'officials' contact the mag and ask for it? Or ask nicely why it hasn't happened already or what would it take to happen?!? jw

Anonymous said...

Hey be more original if you want to use names on me. The three words, dimwit / pseudo / liar are exactly the same words I've used on you some time ago...still so dim, no improvement whatsoever! You gave me no choice because you have stalked me for over 2 years now and you are a male who gave your name once or twice.
You need help in giving me names; how about..."gifted", "talented", "sweet", "poetic", "e pluribus unum" "wild imagination", "kindred sister", "internet mom", "nailed it again" etc...I write these words within quotes because they were said to me by actual persons on this site...their words, not mine. They know who I'm referring to. If I were a liar like you said, how can all these people have said all these beautiful words to me. You are indeed the liar here! I got it right! Thank you so much dear comrades for all your heartfelt words of appreciation and warmth. :)

As I've said, I do not target the person in a general debate/argument; but when I catch them redhanded as seen in some examples on this thread, yes I will tell them directly to the person's face; but always with substantiation as in my above comment. As I also said before, we're here to enjoy Adam, his songs, voice, fashion etc. But two persons in particular are not here for Adam; in fact they say adverse things, some of which are down right lies. So if I catch someone lying, I have no choice but to seemingly target the person but with substantiation and not just call out names flippantly, like my stalker above.
