There can be many examples of "older" men doing foolish things to recapture some sort of youth (20's girlfriends, fast sports cars, etc) but I hardly think a performer, who clearly has being left of center in his blood, dying his hair a kooky color is worthy of being scolded for inappropriate or childish behavbior. I add my opinion to the mix. Pharrell is over 40 & he just wore a rather left of center outfit to the Grammy's, did it affect his performance, talent or abilities. OMG, these people are performers and entertainers... I choose to be entertained by them. But that's just me, to each his own I suppose.

So what is the cut off age for an artistic person to have fun with their hair? Has anybody had a talk with Cyndi Lauper?

I love that Adam is always changing his appearance, hair style and hair color, but the green just doesn't do anything for him and his good looks. Cyndi Lauper has always had the crazy hair color and style; it's part of her persona. Adam's look has changed often within the last five years since Idol and he keeps all of us guessing what is next. I can't wait to see his look for the summer concerts with Queen and then what his style will be with the focus of the third album. He's having fun and enjoying himself and I suppose that's an important part of life, living each day to the fullest.

The Cyndi Lauper analogy is perfect, thx for posting.

Our gorgeous world wide star is doing it right. He said 2014 would be full of surprises for us; I have a feeling we have not see anything yet. Starting with Glee; it keeps getting better and better; and I can't think of anyone who deserves it more than Adam M. Lambert!!!!

Hah hah, Adam has mostly always had the crazy hair color and style, too!

Just browse all the available pics of him before and after Idol! Only when he's tried to please the mainstream, he's had these more regular hair colors and styles for a longer time. And of course he's always so groomed in official RC festivities and other big parties!
