I hope Dr. Bri can do something about it... But the contract with "Believe Digital" certainly complicates matters apparently :(((((((((

Obviously they have signed a contract and I am not sure Brian is really aware what it contains. I don´t think he can do anything about it.

I am hoping we will get an official DVD/CD.

I'm sorry, this is a case of yet another company shooting themselves in the foot. Same thing happened with Idol and/or some other series. These people and their attorneys are so damn litigious, they think their proprietary rights are being infringed upon, and have got it wrong. The fact of the matter is, these videos are good for business. The peeps watching these vids, a ton of them will buy the concert DVD. The ones who don't buy the DVD -- do you really think that's because they feel they are oversaturated with YouTube videos? I doubt it.

I posted earlier this week that "multicam" vid of the four songs from Toronto. But there is also someone who has edited and posted multicams of entire concerts. As fun as they are for us to watch, it is THOSE that might be something that BELIEVE should be concerned about. But single-camera videos on YouTube shot by amateurs? REALLY..??

I appears that the blocks put at least SOME fan videos have been LIFTED!!!!!

It seems that Dr. Brian May DOES have some clout!

AND yet ANOTHER reason to love him!!!!

And re an official DVD: YES PLEASE!!!!

Broddy, I agree that the fan-made videos along with the professional ones on YouTube really catch the attention of a broad audience who may become new fans and music buyers. It's a shame when these vids get taken down. Of course, I hope that we do get a great professional concert DVD out of all this. That goes without saying. Those fan vids are our lifeline to our shared experience. Is this done for other artists' concerts, too?

Maybe Dr. Bri will have some influence in this case, but it might be out of his hands.

glitzy, Thanks for the great news! I was still typing my post when you posted about the LIFT! Yay! Dr. Bri may have used his magic charm to help out the fans he loves. PLEASE let there be a DVD!

We'll see how this all plays out, but fingers crossed.....

I had no idea this was happening , I mean with blocked vids etc.. I've been having so much trouble with my computer not playing any you tube vids lately. I'm trying to get tech help figure it out. I'd be a very, very sad fan if the vids were mostly blocked or gone!!!

No wonder Adam and Brian get along so well they have the same heart. Thank you Dr. May, these vids are a great source of pleasure for us all, like DRG said a way to connect.IMO the people watching the vids are those who are avid fans and would buy the DVD irregardless of the fan made vids.

Glad the guys made it hope Adam arrives soon. I understand about phone mine hates me. I think it heard me talking about time till upgrade. I take a medicine that makes it very difficult to transfer thought , it's suppose to slow down racing thoughts and it does but it messes all kinds of stuff up. I don't have any trouble on computer but this phone won't put in certain words and I swear it miss spells on surprose.... Lol... have a great day .

Turn off autocorrect on your phones, if you are good at spelling. I use Arabic keyboard to type in Persian and I have to turn off autocorrect cause if I have it on it changes all of my Persian words to Arabic then constantly I have to go back and retype my Persian texts to my friends. Go to your phone settings to turn off autocorrect.

Thanks for the heads up, but won't help me . I used to be able to spell anything and read so fast but now I sometimes strugle to spell simple things. I hate it but I guess if turns off the tape of constant doom in my head it's worth it;)

I've been having problems getting YouTube to play, too. Esp. the audio. The video usually plays ok, but often I can't get sound. I've brought my computer in to the tech center and they've tried different things, but to no avail. So when mine doesn't work, I use our desktop computer. Wish I could figure out the problem.
