A very nice "Letter To The Editor" in Glasgow's Evening Times newspaper:
Happy Queen fan's thanks to Evening Times
THANK you so much for the Queen review in the Evening Times.
I've been a Queen fan for most of my life and I've been a fan of Adam Lambert. I have followed him since American Idol. Ever since AI it has been obvious that Adam is the natural successor to Freddie and that they would get together was pretty inevitable. It's so good seeing Brian and Roger so happy and able to do what they are meant to do after that part of their careers was cut short so abruptly. They had to wait a long time to find him because Freddie was irreplaceable.
Of course filling Freddie's shoes is not a career in itself, fantastic though that is and part of the reason that it works so well and doesn't fall into the realms of imitation is that Adam is his own man and has his own style which fortunately matches and complements Queen and their music brilliantly.
