Another great Glasgow review this time from Scotland's national newspaper, The Scotsman, reported by Fiona Shepherd.
"Out and proud where Mercury was chary about his sexuality, Lambert is a natural showman who appears undaunted about stepping into such towering shoes. Frankly, Queen are lucky to have him."

I suppose that in England and Scotland, it is harder for Adam to win over the fans who were so enamored by Freddie. But he does it night after night. How glorious it is to have Queen music back at such am impressive level.

I am just discovering "Save Me". Beautiful song. Thanks SOOOOOOO much to all of you who provide these wonderful concert videos. Mark Bowles to mention only one of many. We look forward to them so much!!!!

Bravo! A great review from another writer who really "gets" it. Adam is truly a GFG and he's winning over some of the most hard-core Queen purists. This reviewer was great on specifics and covered a lot in a short review. Can't wait for the first London show!

Yes, Brian and Roger know they are lucky to have Adam and Adam is lucky to be performing with them because it's bringing him many more fans worldwide .... so it's a win win all round.

I enjoyed the review, and like many other reviews, he said it took several songs before they started to accept Adam for himself, and not somebody copying another singer. Adam is indeed his own person and proud of it. This gig with Queen has been a huge blessing for him as he was signing papers for his new Warner Music people and his new executive producers. He has apparently kept all this news under his hat for some months. No wonder we keep seeing him in several different hats, he has had a lot under them, that should not escape before the suits were ready to announce everything.
Adam is a very happy man right now, with only the pressure of his NEW fans accepting his new music, without Queen.

"Replacing a lead singer is one of the trickiest manoeuvres in rock, never mind replacing the irreplaceable."

..... So well put by this reviewer.
And, to echo and agree with Anon 5:52's comment.... Adam is stepping into the frontman role and winning them over in spades time after time, concert after concert. SO proud of him!
