Adam Lambert Teases New 'Ghost Town' Single: Listen

The whistle-laden house track is due out on April 21.
Adam Lambert's long-awaited third album The Original High is due out later this year, with a lead single coming in April. On Monday morning (Mar. 23), the pop star clued in his loyal army of Glamberts on the sound of that single, which is titled "Ghost Town" (no, not "Ghosttown," that's Madonna's next single!).Listen to a snippet of Lambert's whistle-strewn new tune "Ghost Town," which he posted on Instagram.
Lambert announced that the new track will be arriving on April 21, after revealing to Billboard in January that his new album will be his first on Warner Bros Records. The Original High will be executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback.
"I think people are going to be really surprised," said Lambert in January. "The album feels like a new era for me -- emotionally, lyrically, sonically. It feels fresh, it feels new. It's still me. It's still stuff that fans know and love but it's a new chapter 100 percent."

Are you jumping the gun....Why on earth would Adam and Madonna have almost the same song titles so close to each other? just wondering & thinking out loud
I'll bet Adam isn't actually whistling. As to the same titles, I'm sure WB is aware. It may even work to Adam' s advantage a little.
I've listened to this little snippet over & over.... It sounds so cool and fresh. Something about that beat.... I like it!!

I think Adam's single will do great regardless of the same title as Madonna's. Her single is already out from what I've gathered. I don't know if she has a video accompanying it, yet..... Whereas it looks like Adam may have one with 'Ghost Town'.
Upon hearing that Madonna has a single with similar title.... At first my knee-jerk feeling was "Uh oh!". BUT.... lots can happen between now and April 21st and as interesting as Madonna's may sound.... It may not be quite as fresh by then.
I think Adam's is going to burst on the scene in a very fresh and intriguing way. Yeah, we can't predict the future.... But something about this snippet sounds pretty darn cool ("sick" as many young peeps say today) and will appeal to the younger crowd, too I think (which may not be quite the Madonna market at this point).....
The Dude is very 'on fleek' I'd say!

Will it be pre-recorded to accompany live band mix?
Will it be performed live by a back-up or feat. singer.... Or band member?
Or by Adam, himself?

The whistling may also just be a small part of a percussion segment - a 'hook' in the song - at that particular place vs the whole song, perhaps.
.... We shall surely find out! Exciting.....!

Whistle, Im thinking? One can hear what sounds to be the in- breath of the whistler on the breathing after the notes. :)
Someone tweeted that they be the Madonna fans are happy today; thinking that people will think it is her single trending. Shoshanna replied, "different spelling"!
I am concerned about that too; people may not stop to think about the spelling. Just will be ordering the title. I hope this does not become a mess. Of all the times that this has to happen!
When trending this song; can't people put the title and then Adam's name behind it. We are going to have our hands full making sure that fans know the difference!
I'm sure that when people buy the album, they'll know which one they're buying. I'm sure that the trending is due to Adam's song, not Madonna's.

But hey, altough the timing may appear tricky.... Looks like so far Adam's doing pretty well here on the first day of releasing this snippet of his single. Yay
