Important info about radio meet and greets from Adam Lambert Music 411:
Radio may very well be using these events to see what kind of audience Adam brings to the table for their stations. If they see non-local winners and a room full of people outside of their desired demo, the reaction by the station may not be a positive one. So this isn’t an inconsequential thing at all.
... NONE of us knows for certain if looping counts or not. We can create playlists and whatever but we don’t know how YouTube processes those plays and what raises a red flag. ... That said, the safest approach — if you have time to do it — is to loop or play the music video manually (hitting replay) for only 1-2 hours here and there each day. REMINDER: Stream the video in full each time.

I'm using Spotify tons! I do anyway, so it's not a big deal for me to do so for Adam... and I follow a playlist if I see Ghost Town on it!
I still have to look in to the multiple Shazaming business, been a busy week in RL. If anyone knows if we are green-lighted to Shazam once a day, or something like that, and you have a minute to post it, I'd certainly appreciate the info. (no pressure, I'll figure it out this weekend :)).
@anon 2:39 I watched the Idol finale last night for curiosity. The more I watched the more I was glad that Adam wasn't associated with this big, contrived mess. The Jamie Fox number stood out to me though and the judges' group number wasn't bad either. I was disappointed that Jax (my favorite) didn't really get a fair shot at performing. All she was offered to do was scream into the microphone with Steven Tyler for a few seconds. Felt sorry for her. I have this feeling that Warners wanted to make a clear cut for Adam. How legitimate would it be for Adam to perform at a show that is going down. They had a good run though. Adam is getting his publicity now through all these articles that write about significant Idol alums. Much better, and Adam is on every list.
Can you Shazam Ghost Town from any source? Caleb was there to bring out the winners name on the AI finale but it didn't happen, don't ask me what went wrong there.
I'm one of those who is glad Adam was not on Idol last night. I'm good with Adam being remembered as the best male singer. I'm good with him being remembered as the one who should have won instead of one of the winners that shouldn't have won.
I wish the new contestants the best and this experience is a good one for them. But the winners I see that American Idol can truly brag about their show helping are JLo and Keith. Their careers have been bolstered far beyond what the contestants will ever benefit. I hate that all these singing shows are about the judges and guest stars.
This is what I saw about Shazaming. It makes sense that because the Shazam chart is so important to radio play that they wouldn't let fans spam it.
"IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY 1 Shazam per song, per account matters! Only 1 Shazam of a song is counted for the Shazam chart and anything beyond that is pointless AND radio won’t know about it." http://requestadamlambert.com/shazam-the-song/#comment-36772
But you could use multiple devices to Shazam the song. Set up the app on your computer, iPad, tablet, phone. Use your friends and relatives accounts to Shazam the song. Don't forget to Shazam other pop songs as directed at the above link.

I just want to maximize the effectiveness of my limited time and I image many others want to as well so that is why I shared this.
If it weren't for Idol we may never have heard of or experienced the magic of Adam Lambert. For that alone I'm appreciative of the platform to reach us that he was given. I looked forward to seeing him every season since he was a runner up in some capacity. Adam was a hard act to follow. When ever I heard a contestant or anyone cover a song that he had already done, I felt that although there was a decent attempt, Adam always owned it and many times even surpassed the original artist. I try to keep an open mind, but Adam is so gifted, he leaves everyone in the dust. I will miss seeing Adam make his seasonal visit. There were many seasons of inferior judges and talent, but I thought this season was better than most, but just couldn't recover from past seasons mediocrity. Bless them for giving us Adam!

Bummer Adam didn't perform on idol last night.
Cool that he'll be on the big LA station tonight. He'll be on a Chicago station tomorrow. No M&G, but I'll be listening.
There is a meet and greet in Chicago. They had it on twitter today.
4:04 PM, at a different station next week.
Re-tweeted and told them to count me in! lol
