In honor of the last day of American Idol, the last American Idol Finale, after 15 seasons, the platform that gave us Adam Lambert, the "One in a Billion" singer (quoted from Dr. Brian May & Roger Taylor of Queen), we're posting THIS:
ALL of Idol contestant Adam Lambert's performances, 18 of 'em!! From the Rolling Stone's "Satisfaction" on Top 36 week to Queen's "We Are The Champions" on the Season 8 Finale
I appreciate that someone with (much) more time & patience (and skills) than I have put all of Adam's amazing performances in ONE continuous VIDEO! Adam Lambert, Season 8 (2009).
Have a favorite?? (or 18??) Let us know in the comments section!
So, 7 years later Adam is doing mighty fine after 3 major award-winning albums ("For Your Entertainment"- 2009, "Trespassing" - 2012, & "The Original High" - 2015), a Grammy nomination for his single "Whataya Want From Me", 2+ major world solo tours, ("Glam Nation" and "The Original High" - still ongoing), countless other gigs, many return visits to "American Idol", including as a guest judge and mentor, 70 plus (and counting, more this summer, including the legendary "Isle of Wight" Festival) concerts & appearances as the very successful frontman for the legendary rock group Queen, an acting stint (5 episodes) on "Glee", an upcoming guest starring role in Fox's "Rocky Horror Picture Show" (airing around Halloween 2016) TV movie/musical as "Hot Patootie Bless My Soul" Eddie, the motorcycle riding rocker dude, (filming in Toronto as we speak, and why he won't be at the American Idol finale tonight..), AND as Idol's top earner ($10 Million) for this past year..
Phew!!! And those are only some of the highlights!!!
Yep, it was a VERY good decision on his part to audition for Idol..
Enjoy!
List of theme weeks, songs/performances in order:
