It's just been announced that Adam Lambert will appear at the British LGBT Awards Event on Friday, May 13, 2016 in London.
Dr. Brian May has been nominated for the "Celebrity Straight Ally" Award
Black tie event will be held at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London

"BRIAN MAY
Brian May is a 68-year-old singer, songwriter and musician, who is most famous for being the lead guitarist and song writer for the band, Queen. He co-founded the band with the gay icon, Freddie Mercury, who died from pneumonia resulting from AIDS. Brian later founded the the Mercury Pheonix Trust with Roger Taylor and Jim Beach, which raises awareness and understanding for people living with HIV. In the last two decades, the Trust has funded over 700 projects in the global battle against HIV/AIDs. In 2005, Brian was awarded a CBE for services to the music industry and charity work."

Brian May is such a remarkable human being, so glad circumstances in life brought he and Adam together to share music and friendship.
I'm so glad, too, that Adam's connection with Queen has made me aware of Dr. Brian May. He's so talented and smart and has an number of diverse interests and causes that he supports. Adam is lucky to know him and so are we.
Brian May is a true "Renaissance Man".
