Ah yes, Venice! brings back a very European aura...well, I was on a gondola; we paid in lira.

Also, the ancient architecture of the Venice Cathedral. Got a picture with 3 pigeons standing on my head, shoulder, hand; I was holding a packet of popcorn that they were after...many moons ago. lol!

I took that same water taxi ride to Venice at dusk. I will never forget how magical it was as the lights of Venice started to show up. It was dark enough for the lights to be bright but it wasn't dark enough that we couldn't see the cafes and buildings we were approaching. Venice is a p lace that I recommend going to see. It is amazing. I'm glad that Adam was able to go there.
