Really nice!! The original picture of Adam is sexy and tender at the same time... The artist's rendering of it captures this as well -- his essence. It also truly looks like him. Excellent.

Ordinarily, I don't appreciate art work that is an exact copy of a photograph, *I consider it more a "craft" than an "art". And I often wonder.. "why bother, as you already have the photo".

However, although this drawing IS an exact copy (dimensionally) of the photo, the ARTIST then continues on to add more drama and presence than actually existed in the photo--- on beyond mere representation and accuracy-- by enhancing or subduing details and shading-- and making it more "important" visually than the original photo...i.e., giving it more "personality" and "mood" than the photo. That's ART.

And no, I'm not referring to the butterfly!
