Also, another judge will be on the The X Factor Australia's judging panel - "The Underdog Judge". Speculation is that it's Mel B (ex The Spice Girls) who's been a judge on a number of shows.

So, just so I'm clear on all this. The XFactor Au we've seen with Adam so far is just the non-broadcast preliminaries, right? No one has seen that part on TV. I just assumed that Adam being a judge on XFactor had been news to everyone ever since we knew about it. But the general public in OZ is just getting the news now? Just wondering why this is a "big announcement" now.

Yes, other than people who really follow X Factor AU news, the promo is just starting to become mainline news.. We'll be seeing more about it in the news in the days to come..

Although, this article is just a rehash what's already been out there..

As @flutsup has noted, new articles etc. coming out.. We'll be putting all of these up on the blog here.. We have quite a few saved up that we're getting ready to post.

Does anyone know when Adam has to go back, for more filming? I know that it is supposed to be on TV in Nov., but I thought there might be some more pre-filming. I saw on another site, they were guessing about the end of Aug.

Could be.. Adam has the Asian Queen + Adam Lambert gigs coming up in Sept. also.. I also saw a comment from Terrance Spencer about Adam leaving again soon, so it's anyone's guess when Adam will head next to Australia.. Fun to guess though :))

@Dee R Gee, news & promos of The X Factor Australia have been buzzing in Australia ever since The X Factor Australia 2016 was announced i.e. it's not new news. The X Factor Australia has a Twitter & Facebook account & the network that will be screening the series, is promoting it. TV talent shows are very popular in Australia.

It seems promo is picking up momentum.. We've been posting info here since the X Factor AU 2016 season and judges were announced.. More international promo and media coverage now as the show gets closer to the season premiere. Not officially announced for the first televised show date other than "after the Olympics".. Really excited for Adam, for the contestants and for us fans too!!
