 Adam Lambert (Season Eight)

In one of the biggest upsets in Idol history, Adam lost to Kris Allen during his season in 2009. Of course, Adam went on to have a successful post-Idol career anyway. He's released three successful albums — 2009's For Your Entertainment, 2012's Trespassing, and 2015's The Original High. When he's not touring with Queen, he's a vocal advocate for the LGBT community. He's 35 years old.

Interesting overview of Idol non-winners and how they're doing. Some have moved on from music to other things.

The two pictures are 9 years apart...2009-2017. The first one was when Adam sang Satisfaction, Feb 2009; he debuted his first solo song on AI Top 36 Season 8.
The second is at The Blonds Fashion show Feb 2017.
Adam did so much, from pauper to king, in a relatively short period.
I recall saying...He is the Winner! right after this song. I think the other contestants looking on must have felt...Whoa! who are we dealing with...
