This woman is magnificent... I would like to think that I could be that high-minded....but I fear that I would not!

I had tears in my eyes when I heard Heather's mother and father speak about her. Despite their grief, they were so eloquent, so hopeful for the future, so sure of their daughter's continuing legacy. I'm sure I would not be able to handle this tragedy as they have.

They say that everything happens for a reason .. well .. I'm sorry but I have not been able to find one for this senseless loss of a young & beautiful woman .. GOD help me .. I'm too old .. I've lived too long .. seen too much death & destruction for nothing!! What could possibly make someone understand these wanton hateful acts of murders one after another?? Please help me to find some hope in our future .. our country is being destroyed ... our beautiful America is being reduced to a land of fear & hate instead of "one nation under GOD indivisible with Liberty & Justice for ALL"!! I can't cry anymore .. I can only Pray!!

There is hope for our future. I'm reading just as much hope as I am hopelessness. It's up to you to take care and make sure you live long enough to see America come thru this stronger than ever. I'm expecting to see things turn around here before the end of this year. Clean up, will take longer. It's not going to take more than a few years. Get strength from Heather's Mom and Dad, they have offered it.

I feel these days like I'm in a Time Machine and we are visiting events we hoped to never see again.

@lollymop .. It isn't just Heather's Mom & Dad .. it's the all over the world madness that is happening everyday & now America is right in the middle of it!! Only this time even our allies are being wary of us .. they don't feel the camaraderie that we had in the past!! Did you know that the Queen has made it clear that Donald Trump is not welcome in the UK?? The shame that I feel when I read things like that & how our ?leader? is referred to as the "UGLY" American makes me cry!! This has never happened to my knowledge .. ever before!! America has always been welcome by our Allies .. maybe not Russia or other unsavory countries but NEVER has the Queen of England refused to welcome our POTUS!! Now the ugliness that was rampant in other countries .. riots .. hate speeches (some from our own ?leader?) .. I had hoped that was all behind us as a nation & when I close my eyes for the final time I can rest with the knowledge that my loved ones are safe from harm!! Sorry haven't felt like that since Jan. 20th & the six months preceding!! I know I'm old & fear comes with old age because my only peace is believing that GOD hasn't forsaken the USA!! HE will step in & when HE does we'll be able to be the Great country we were once again!! So many have died to keep us free .. let it not all be in vain!!

Yes I do know all that. I want to apologize for upsetting you. My response to your first post was meant to have good intentions. I meant to offer you hope.

I'd like to see Adam's tweet "saying shame on you Trump" posted here.

We don't need a "tweet" from Adam....his opinion is already a "given" to all Glamberts.

Trump is ruining our country! Everyone I know is filled with anxiety. How will this all end?
