Wonder if they'll also do a European and Uk tour either before or after that ? also wonder if his new album will ever get finished, as seems he's going to be busy with the tour in 2019, hopefully it will get finished and out before the tour, but won't be holding my breath

I am thrilled! They are really packing n the dates! I will be there in Chicago on August 9!
As for Adam's new music, I am not worried. It will come and it will be great.

In the meantime, his role in QAL is the gift that keeps on giving and it won't last forever. In my opinion, every performance he does with them is well worth his time. He is making himself part of a legacy that will last forever in music history. And that's just as valuable as the incredible money he is making, too.

He's in a very enviable position. Having to put his own music aside for a bit while fronting for a world-renowned classic rock band that HE has enabled to still tour world-wide. I think his priorities are in the right place right now. Just my opinion, of course.

Looks like there are only a few back-to-back shows. That's a very good thing. These guys deserve a rest in between. They've earned it after all these years.

Just saw a tweet from Adam in reply to a question about his new music. He said it's coming! I'm not worried. Each QAL show is a good promo for solo Adam, too, especially since the success of the BoRhap movie has brought in a lot of new fans of all ages. The audiences will likely be a different mix than in the past. All to the good for Adam.

OMG!!! I'm going, can't wait, this makes me nervous. Lol.

Dee R Gee...I agree wholeheartedly. Adam's time with Queen has been a huge opportunity that has paid off for all of them. He will never find a better "showcase" for his talents....nor a cushier or more lucretive situation..without all the stress of "carrying" the whole tour on his own shoulders like he would with his own tours.

With Queen, Adam has learned SO much....has had the opportunity to hone his skills, explore his amazing capabilities. educate his ears...and has acquired so much confidence in himself in the process. He has become known and respected worldwide.

The results of all that quality exposure is lately really paying off....with all the various special performances he has been making lately.

OUR ICON is becoming iconic!

BTW...Forgot to mention that I'm THRILLED that the new QAL tour is finally gracing Pittsburgh with its presence! Wow!

OF COURSE I'm going...and corraling my Pittsburgh family to go with me! Whee!

Totally agree with both Nanbert and
Dee R Gee. That album going to be so worth the wait. The concerts will be a other place to promote the single.
Tbe concerts are in June I'm pretty sure both single and album will be out by or before then.
I believe Adam did tbe single Believe last night and I read Cher stood up and
gave him a standing ovation for hitting and sustaining a huge high note.
Think he also did a duet with Cyndi L.
Think at the end of the show if I understood it right.
He could not have had hardly any time to rehearse. He is so amazing.
Adam rarely smiles on the red carpet but he still looks great to me. He had to have been pretty rushed and still looked so gorgeous. So glad to hear that tweet about the album. Boy he going to have a very full year next year. I'm so happy to be a Glambert but then I always have been.

Got to go look at the vids of the show haven't yet. Hope there are full ones to come.

Love hearing that interview in London! Thanks, Mirela!

Do you think he could do his solo tour before QAL? I don't know how it worked before.

Nanbert said...

Mirela...thanks for the interview backstage at Strictly. That was an especially good one. Adam was such a charmer!

Nanbert said...

Elaevans... There's probably no way he could do his solo tour before QAL. First of all, the album hasn't even been finished yet. Then, after it's released, Adam has a lot of promotion to do, visits radio stations, gives interviews, small concerts, etc. over a month or two....before even assembling a tour.

So, odds are that we probably won't even see an album release until after the QAL tour... because I feel sure that Adam would like to release the album, promote it and tour with it in one continuous time sequence....with no breaks in the middle.

Sue Smith said...

That June isn't it the tour starts yea I'm hoping thinking he will at least have the single out.
Will see about the album. If he got the single out by Feb. Give him lots of time to promote that before tour and it would be great promotion for it on tour. He usually get one song of his on the concert so the nee single would be great promotion as well as other promoting he do. At least hoping for the single early on next year. Correction new single not nee single.

Please post any updates on Fan Club promos for this tour . . . Adam's Fan Club site . . . . . Thanks

I am in New Orleans and hoping to get this concert. I saw the Glam nation concert because my niece had gotten tickets for us as my birthday present. She texted me yesterday thinking I didn't know about this concert. I said of course I did. She said she may be willing to go to this one too. My fingers are crossed, my toes are crossed, and I will be crossing my eyes all day until she gets back to me. HAHA Saw Lady GAG at the Smoothie King Center and it's a good place for concerts.

Dee R Gee said...

With luck, we'll get an A4 release and a single before the QAL tour. Then, with luck, if the sales are good, we'll get a solo tour later in the year. Fingers and everything else crossed.

Nanbert said...

Elaevans..seems I'm "full of baloney" (see above), as the latest news from Adam says he WILL get his album out BEFORE the QAL tour.

Mirela....Yes! Queen and Adam Lambert are coming to Pittsburgh! SO excited! Thanks for thinking about me.

Now, life would be perfect if Adam scheduled his next tour through Pittsburgh, too!
