Adam Lambert is The Devil in Netflix' new animated series, A Tale Of Dark & Grimm, which will premiere sometime this fall. The series is based on a book by author Adam Gidwitz. In response to a recent article profiling A. Lambert's participation in the series, Gidwitz tweeted some high praise for Adam, which was immediately followed-up by a tweet from Lino DiSalvo, director of Playmobil: The Movie, the 2019 animated feature film in which Adam voiced Emperor Max.

I sounds like Adam has really nailed this Devil character! So glad it's a continuing character and not just a one-shot. Love seeing Adam G and Lino going on Lambert crazy with each other! Hope they both use Adam for more projects. He's a gem.
Ditto, Dee R Gee. Love hearing well-earned praise about Adam! Can't wait to see the series. Hope Adam doesn't become so well known as a villain that he doesn't get to play a hero. He seems to have a knack for "chewing up the scenery"! It's probably a lot of fun for him.
His voice work so far has received high praise. I'm waiting for his "face work" to get the same praise. Still hoping for that perfect acting role and that shows him in person doing a character that really makes him shine. Villain or hero, makes no difference to me.
I loved him as Elliot "Starchild" in Glee....just revisited it on Netflix.
I loved Elliot, too. He was very "Adam."
Adam sure leaves a stunning impression with his acting abilities to all these directors that they want to work with him again! Good for us too! :))
