UPDATE (10/9/21): Adam's full interview (thank you, Scorpiobert!)...

Adam Lambert is making a guest appearance on the television talk show Ellen today, Friday, October 8, 2021.  He will be appearing with Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Ellen Degeneres' longtime DJ, who will also be guest hosting for Ellen on this episode.  The last time Adam appeared on the show was May 31, 2019 — he sang "New Eyes."

Adam and tWitch will be co-promoting their new series, Clash Of The Cover Bands, which is premiering on E! this Wednesday, October 13th, and will also feature Meghan Trainor and Ester Dean.  Here's a preview from the Ellen website:

Just watched Adam's segment on my DVR! He was SO fun! He got to talk a lot about Vegas and Halloween and then did a great segment on singing celeb tweets in different genres. He was GREAT and he looked wonderful! The host Twitch will host Cover Bands and he looks like a lot of fun, too.

Grimm in getting some good reviews with some special mentions of Adam. All good!

That was a really good segment. Twitch and Adam seem to like each other. Twitch is a good interviewer, he will make a good host.

Adam's tweet/genre performances were absolutely hilarious! On top of that, they were really good! They show both his sense of humor and vocal versatility. I could watch him doing that all day...such fun!

It looks like Adam's Vegas stint is going to be over-the-top Halloween. Can't wait for the streaming performance!

Just watched the first two episodes on Grimm. VERY cleverly written. Adam is in Episode 1 but not episode 2. But he will be BACK. Love his character!

I binge-watched the whole series of "Tales Dark and Grimm", and loved every second of Adam's Devil...of course. But I don't know how he did it... it really didn't sound at all like him... since his "Devil's voice" was lower and less sharp edged than his normal speaking voice! That was completely unexpected! I think it was in episode 6 that he had the largest part....his acting was spot on! What a chilling devil he made!

Although animated, and ostensibly of fairy-tale genre, I thought the series was definitely aimed more at teenagers and adults. It could be nightmare-provoking for many younger children, but it is gripping and well written, and certainly held my interest throughout.

I agree, Nanbert. The Grimm show is not for the faint of heart. Very young kids could fing it much too scary. But it's very cleverly written and appeals to kids and adults. Hope it gets a lot of viewers!

Just finished episode 3, still no Adam/Devil. Glad to hear that he has at least one episode with a lot to do.

No, this is definitely not for young children. I'd almost say 13+. It's gory and lots of death. I was getting upset for awhile with ... well, not to spoil it for anyone, but let's just say with what Hansel turns into and what he does.

The actors are all very good. However, character-wise, I am annoyed with one: the crazy, female crow. The whole concept of that character is very unsettling — don't like her voice or what she says. Of anything, the crows are extremely stereotyped.

But I loved Mother Tree who is practically a knock-off of Grandmother Willow from Disney's Pocahontas.

Nanbert, I get what you're saying about Adam's voice and I truly think Adam has been turning into a damn fine actor. Before Idol he was acting, but he hasn't had much of a chance to further stretch those wings ... well, there was GLEE, of course ... but not as much since then, except all this wonderful character/animation voiceover work in the last few years and I think he's learning and getting better. I was VERY impressed with what he's doing in this show. He is demonstrating tremendous growth in acting. I have no doubt that he worked with an acting or voiceover coach on this one to get it right. He's using inflection and the different colors of his voice — way more than in Playmobil.

And except maybe the kids, he is working among many professional actors on this production — Scott Adsit from 30 ROCK, screen villain Jonathan Banks, actress Missy Pyle, and huge Brit actor Tom Hollander — as well as very well-known voiceover actors including Eric Bauza and Ron Funches — and he is very much holding his own! I think he's gonna get a lot more voiceover work from this ... and hopefully more acting work onscreen, not just his voice.

I appreciate these reviews. I am faint of heart. The news is scary enough to me. As always I'll pass on violent shows.

Anybody else notice Adam walking onto the stage on Ellen with his right leg totally unbending? Even when he sat down, he didn't bend it. Wonder what's up with that? Whatever it is, I hope it's ok before the Vegas shows. He didn't act like he was in pain or anything. Just a stiff straight right leg. Hmmmm.

And he doesn't bend it much when he's standing up doing the tweet songs, either. Weird.

Thanks for the heads up, Mi Re La, about the Amazing Albums contest. I went there to vote right away, but discovered I have to have a Twitter, Instagram or Tik Tok account to vote. I don't have any of them....nor do I intend to get one. So-o-o, I guess Adam won't get my vote on this one. I hope everyone else votes who's able to...EVERY day for the next 7 days!
