Tickets available from: livestream.queenonline.com

London, July 06, 2022 – Queen + Adam Lambert today announced details of Rhapsody Over London, an exclusive concert spectacular, filmed live at The 02 London during their current sold-out European Tour, that will premiere live on July 24th via Kiswe’s global streaming platform.

The exclusive Live Concert Film will feature a LIVE Q&A with Brian, Roger and Adam, speaking backstage from the penultimate show of their European tour.  Fans around the world will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase tickets and submit their questions via video by July 19th, for the band to see and answer live during the Q&A.

The concert will only be available until 31st July on the platform and accompanied by special VOD packages, where fans will have access to additional concerts and interviews. The acclaimed documentary ‘The Show Must Go On, The Queen + Adam Lambert Story’ will be available exclusively for ticket holders for a full two days prior to the livestream.

The concert was filmed during the band’s sold-out 10-day run at The O2 Arena, London in early June. Having been attended by over half a million concertgoers during the 2022 36-date European tour, Queen + Adam Lambert’s “Rhapsody Over London” live concert film is set to reach a worldwide audience of millions more when the experience premieres online on July 24.

The broadcast will give fans around the world one more chance to experience the magic of the Rhapsody Tour.  A massive undertaking, utilising 26 cameras and a crew of over 100 film technicians, the production presents the band’s two and half hour show in its entirety. The audience will also be able to interact with fellow fans throughout the show using Kiswe’s fan engagement features, including fan chat feed and cheer buttons, fan react videos enabling viewers to upload video selfies, purchase custom digital stickers, and the ability to buy exclusive in-concert merchandise.

In a dazzling 28-song performance, Queen + Adam Lambert’s live show honours Freddie Mercury’s dictum that “too far is never far enough” with state-of-the-art video content, lasers and pyrotechnics.

Adam Lambert’s vocal prowess and showmanship is a special effect in itself, soaring to the ecstatic high notes of “Somebody to Love”, and appearing on a bejewelled Harley Davidson bike for “Bicycle Race”. But at its heart the Rhapsody show stays a very human honouring of the core band’s work, as Brian May simply strums his acoustic guitar to 20,000 people for his A Night at the Opera gem “‘39”, and duets with film of Freddie on a moving “Love Of My Life”. Roger Taylor performs a majestic “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” as moments from Queen’s history poignantly plays out on the expansive screens.

A full arsenal of hits are refreshed by the band’s live virtuosity, May’s Red Special guitar finding new sorcery in “A Kind of Magic” as well as reaching stratospheric heights in a towering guitar solo. Taylor and Lambert emulate Bowie and Mercury in a thunderous “Under Pressure”. “Bohemian Rhapsody” resurrects Queen’s glorious 1975 harmonies before a cyborg-masked May’s rousing solo, and Lambert’s rush to the front for the storming finale.

All this is monumentally fabulous! and monumentally confusing! I just hope there's a simple way to someone like me to watch it at some point. It sounds like it's gonna blow us all away!

Omg you too Dee R Gee? You are not alone, I am confused as well. But you know they're (Queen people or whoever) are saying this concert will be on "Demand", until July 31. Seems July 24 QAL are performing in Finland, so those fans can watch from Demand. So to wait or not wait to watch this. Its a taped show and will include fan interaction during the stream (is what I just read.) We have time before the 24th to decide what to do. Then what about the other event stream where QAL will tape their appearance. I am not watching that one, I'll wait for videos later.

Actually, I won't even be in town on July 24. So I'll just have to roll with it and see what happens. I saw that there are big "packages" you can buy that include the viewing and other things. I'm not going to stew over it. I'm sure I'l at least see the doc vid at some point.

There are not as many people on this site. J

Hi creamtangerine,

As one of the co-moderators, let me assure you we still have a very healthy readership. Granted, we haven't posted as often as we would like of late, and perhaps that is reflected in the amount of comments you see, but the same numbers of fans and other interested folk are still coming here to AL News 24/7 as they've always been for the latest big news on Adam. Glad you came back to visit!

Just been thinking about this long tour and how Adam has really gone through a kind of metamorphosis. He started out wearing layers of clothes from head to foot. Didn't move around the stage all that much. Voice always top-notch, of course. But now as he nears the end of the tour, we see the layers of clothing come off, the bare arms, the toned torso. He is much more playful and mobile on the stage. I think the new concert film will show a striking change over the past two months. All to the good, IMO.

The tweets and comments from concert-goers are so fun to read. They are astounded at Adam's voice and stage presence. Many have never seen him before and were very skeptical but were won over right away. He is getting universal praise and is gaining new fans every day. The Madrid crowds were really bonkers! Nine more shows to go!

Apparently, Oliver and Javi were in the crowd last night. Javi with his family, Oliver with a friend. But not all together.

Have noticed the same Dee R Gee. Perhaps he has been losing pounds and has given him back his energy of before. I love him more active on the stage ( the COVID sure took out a toll on us all), I was alright with my weight but this pandemic messed me up! Lol. Even so with his unwanted added weight, he is still his sexy self! He can let loose even more now and doesn’t need to wear oversized clothes. You seen what he did with that long beautiful coat with the gold trimming, he cut off the sleeves! Lol. Always improving his wardrobe! Also saw a pic of Javi with his parents, brother and I think a friend from the concert. I miss him but I follow him anyways on Instagram. Haven’t seen any pics of Oliver, but I’m sure there are.

Javi was at the concert and was sitting with Oliver. I know this because it was on Javi's Instagram that I noticed Oliver's presence. I find that pretty cool.

Adam's exes are all on good terms with him. (and each other, apparently).

I like the fact that this tour will end up in Finland. I assume Sauli will attend? Adam has great fans in Finland.

Sunflower, I noticed, too, that Adam had cut off the sleeves of that elaborate gold embroidered coat. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw it...so very Adam. I remember him describing cutting off the sleeves of that beautiful long red leather coat he wore on an earlier tour. I suspect both were done not only to be cooler under those hot lights....but also to show off his tattooed arms.

Frankly, I'll be happy to see Adam less heavily dressed...his body lines, movements and poses have always contributed strikingly to his performances. He's a very "visual" performer, IMO.

Reflecting further about Adam cutting off the sleeves of his coat....THAT COAT is the one he wore when he performed in opening the concert for the Queen's Platinum Anniversary Tribute. It seems almost sacrilegious to alter it....it belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, or at least another charitable auction of his performance costumes! I hope he saved the sleeves...they can be reattached if not too damaged.

Sorry everyone, I realize I've been very long-winded lately....and probably very boring! So much for my New Year's resolution!
