This is rather EPIC!!! And intriguing...
Recently Adam Lambert did an interview where the subject of the Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl came up. The Interviewer asked Adam if he might like to sing it at the next Super Bowl. To which he replied in the affirmative. And today, THIS happened! Adam opened the show on FOX NFL Sunday!!! Wow!! So there is more than a little speculation by us fans wondering if this is happening! This in itself today is pretty incredible! Watch the vids below and fingers crossed... So we'll see!

Update: Adam's publicist Shoshanna Stone was just asked if this was a hint that Adam would be singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.. her answer is below.. but who knows what can happen in the future. 😉
And last but not least, a You Tube video of the ENTIRE intro, including the announcer talking about Adam and his latest song "Mad About The Boy".. so pretty darn cool!

Hey glitzy! I was just going to post about this and thankfully, you beat me to it! Being a Chicago Bears fan, I switched on FOX NFL today just before the game, but NOT in time to see this little clip as it happened. Found it on FB and then of course here. As thrilled as I am to see it, I wonder how it came about? How did he get this little NFL segment? Can't be just out of nowhere. It was a thrill to see it, however it happened. And despite what Shosh said, I think that at some point, he WILL sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
I guess AOBTD was the link to Adam. It's the song in the background, and of course, Adam is Queen's front man. So there you go. Adam isn't known for his interest in sports, but the song connection makes sense.
Love that initial silhouette of Adam in the above video... without outsized shoulders and with LEGS!!!!! He has great lines.
Hope he DOES get that Super Bowl National Anthem. No one could top it...no one!
This promo had all us Glamberts excited but leave it to Shosh to bring it down by saying “it is what it is”! Haha. We can still hope for Adam to sing the National Anthem! Sigh
