Adam Lambert Plans Another Visit to American Idol

After spending a week as a guest mentor on "American Idol," Adam Lambert learned a few things about this year's crop of contestants. First and foremost, he wasn't all that shocked to see Katie Stevens and Andrew Garcia get the boot after the pair turned in "sleepy" performances.
"You know, I think at this point in the competition, it comes down to 'Do you want to be there, or do you not want to be there?' " Lambert told MTV News on the red carpet of the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles. "You've got to step it up, get some caffeine going. They were a little sleepy."
Secondly, he already has a favorite to win the season-nine crown — or, more specifically, four favorites. He also thinks everyone should start packing lasers, like he did for his performance of "Whataya Want From Me" on "Idol."
"There's some amazing voices this year. I think Crystal [Bowersox], Casey [James], Lee [Dewyze] and Michael [Lynche], for me, those four really stand out as authentic, pure, amazing vocals," he said. "But everyone was really sweet and really friendly and really receptive. I had a great time mentoring, and I had a really good time putting on my laser show. I got lasers! I was so excited. I was like a little kid."
And since he had such a great time on the show, Lambert said he hopes he can make another appearance during the season-nine finale. He wanted to show up for this week's "Idol Gives Back" event, but his schedule won't allow it.
"I hope to come back for the finale. Unfortunately, I'm going to be gone for 'Idol Gives Back,' " he said. "I leave this Sunday. I'm going to be in Europe for three weeks, promoting my album. ... It comes out in the U.K. at the end of the month, and I'm so excited to see how it does over there."

I would love to see Adam on Idol again. I wonder will he be on there tonight because of his delay in travels to the UK?
last week i read that Adam will be back on the results night.....why did everyone stop voting for Adam on the Time 100 poll....it's not over till next thursday....everyone else is getting votes like crazy????? the voting is over for the winner but that's all!!!!!

The night that this site re-posted the Time 100 and urged fans to vote, I did my share - 3 pages on a solid 45 minutes. I saw the votes went up. Using my own speed, I guessed there were over 1200 fans on their p.c. That felt good. It also showed that this site has a lot of influence!!!
i hope he can come back for the finale!!! i think us adam fans are all just proud parents:) i mean thats how i am and i am not even 20 hah. i want all my friends to love him and i send them video clips of him. just like when parents show off their kids :)
Glad to see Adam anytime on tv.He deserves to be on the finale. He not only boosts the ratings,lifts up his fans, but at every opportunity thanks Idol for giving him this great exposure to pursue his dreams. They should have him on every week! Not thrilled for him to fly with all of the volcanic ash not abating and getting worse. funbunn40
hope adam will get to the UK, it is a huge market down there and adam should not miss the opportunity. he loves UK by the way.
correction, when they interviwed adam after AI9 he said he was a bit surprised about Katie's elimination because she stepped up that night!
It would be great to see Adam on the finale doing a number from his Tour!

Does anyone know if he made it to the UK or what's happening with his schedule? Hope he can make it and also be on Idol's finale. Can't ever get enough of him!
I am so excited. Just read that Christina A. will be on final AI! Pray for a duet w/she and Adam...wouldn't that be fantastic. Also just found out that Adam's jacket sold for $8,100 on the auction for AI gives back...Wonder if that was what sold for the highest bid?
