Fans in the South -- don't leave Adam for this. It's not his fault. It's his management! Blame his management! They think Adam doesn't have fans in the south but in fact, he's HUGE over here. He doesn't have to come to my city and even my state, but right now the concerts are limited mostly to California and northeast. I would be happy and thrilled to travel a resonable distance. But like most of you, we have to work and simply can't be off a week to attend a concert. I can't afford to fly or stay at these fancy places where he is booked. I am a supported, but I hope it is true that he will play other locations. I am going to continue supporting Adam of course, but some of us need a little reenforcement. Computers and my Ipod only goes so far lol. I need to see the man.

To anony 11:04. I don't think there is more bias in the south than in the northeast. Prejudice is unfortunately everywhere! This initial concert announcement feels like a slap in the face to me. I know intellectually that it is not Adam making these specific plan, and I know he absolutely does not want to offend his fans, but this schedule is offensive. And his management represents him, and somehow I imagine he has some input into the situation. What about Atlanta, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Houston, a casino in Louisiana?? There are a lot of possibilities where Adam would get a fantastic welcome. Those of us in the south are not asking for an appearance in every city. We asking for some representation. Yes, I know he is just starting his career, but by putting out this initial schedule, his company has already offended a lot of people. It is as if the south is somehow inferior in their minds. We do have our share of rednecks, but so does the northeast.

I really don't think this is right. These dares were just mentioned as events on adamoffucial and said nothing about being glam nation tour dates. And the I one in Mansfield is the kiss concert. I don't think this is correct at all. So no one should really be getting thier pantys in a bunch Adam will tweet or let us know when he really does announce the dates.

People are just disappointed. I think these are the official tour dates, and I doubt any will be added unless they are special performances. What is irking people in my opinion is that the concerts are concentrated in only certain parts of our huge country. Remember that you lovely European fans. Our country is enormous, so it is not a matter of getting on a train for a day's ride to get to some of these locations. I do not believe disappointment is self-entitlement, and this has nothing to do with being sexy. This is a money issue. Many people who are huge fans simply cannot afford to travel to attend these concerts. They are just too far away for most of the country. Expressing an opinion and being honest are not the same as self-entitlement. The fans who are disappointed do not think they are "entitled" to anything. They are just wondering why the country isn't fairly represented in the venues. American at the moment is more divided than ever for many reasons, and this concert schedule simply re-enforces that divisiveness. 19 is dismissing an entire portion of the country. I do not think this is a preliminary list of venues. It does not make sense for 19 to make a partial list. I think this was intended as the complete list. Either that, or it's an incredible mistake in marketing! 19 might reconsider and make additions with what seems to be many requests from fans in the excluded parts of the country.

Everybody please RELAX, the concert dates just getting started. It takes trememdous amount of organization to plan a tour, there are many obstacles we dont't know about. Gee WOW, Adam fans claiming they are now former fans because he MAY not come near your area this tour? Have you never followed any band or performer before? They don't go to every place on every tour. It is simply impossible to do so. Also, as the BIG NOTE at the bottom of the schedule states, it is likely this list isn't complete since nearly the entire month of July and August are still open except for one date each month. Anyone who is seriously ANGRY at this scares me (I get those of you who are only being tongue-in-cheek).

I'm from the south but if Adam's not coming here, it will be fine with me. It's his management company's decision. I met him on Idol's tour and I remember Adam saying how he thought the southern fans are his favorites because they surprised him with their warm acceptance.

When this article was initially posted this a.m., the bold part indicating there were more dates was not posted. Also, it is posted as the official Glam Nation tour! Now all of this is changed. We are told this is preliminary, and we are told this isn't even the the official tour.

I frankly do not know what to believe at this point, especially when one of the venues is not even finalized according to above comment.

I am sure there wll be more cities added, but no matter what, Adam does not have the power right now to pick and choose. When he is more established, he will be everywhere. I have never posted here but I honestly think ADAM's Mgmt was adding his concerts slowly. Kinda of "feeling the water". I think they are overwhelmed with the response to their new "cash cow". Mgmt is quickly adding locations feeling the demand so to say(I'd bet that someone from 19 Ent is on AO and 24/7 reading all of our comments). I mean really, there hasn't been another Idol with this much draw.

I tried to reserve a hotel room at one of the location that is an 11 hour drive for me, and it is already fully booked for the Adam night. That is the case even though the concert tickets are not yet on sale.

My goodness, what are we all, 12 years old???? (Sorry to any 12 year olds who are being reasonable). I went to a certain season 7 Idol winner's (initials are DC) tour performance in Seattle last summer, in August. His tour began in the East and South in February, the tour dates for the West Coast, Southwest, etc., weren't even added until the beginning and middle of the summer. He did several dates just within the State of Washington. Granted, his gigs were perhaps a bit less ambitious than Adam's appear to be, but he certainly didn't leave too many areas out that I noticed. From what I have picked up "here and there", Adam will be doing many more than what are posted here. Hope you are all kidding around with all the nasty remarks. And, just look at some of the venues, pretty large ones from the sound of things. His tour will be huge, wonderful, and I hope you all get a chance to see him in person. His live performances are AWESOME! And you know he doesn't want to leave anyone out. As the previous poster said: CHILL OUT! I do understand the passion though, can hardly wait to see him come to my area (also not mentioned in the list), and I have great faith that he will.

I think everyone "chilled" a long time ago. However, my understanding from other Adam sites is that the list of performance locations is final! I hope they are wrong. Adam puts everything into his performances and a long heavy tour may not be the best thing for him or the voice. I know it's part of the business and that he loves every minute of it.

We all just want so badly to see Adam, and we've been waiting since American Idol. It's so disappointing to think that after all this time, we still may not get to see him.

Another Southern who would love to see Adam Live! I am sure there are venue's that he could have played in my state but maybe they were already booked for the summer.
