I can only compare this album to music of Robbie Williams, because it really is that good. I have the US version that was also released in Finland. It was difficult to find it in the stores though and I really had to get nasty to get my copy.

I have heard some of Robbie William's music. I think he's pretty good. I like "Love Calling Earth".

Although I don't find any similarities to Robbie...

So close to 1 million, yet so far. I hope Adam achieves one million before the year ends.

I'm not sure the Examiner Article has this info correct. He sources info to USA Today website - and I could not find last weeks IDOL album sale on the site when I checked. This examiner guy gets wrong info quite a bit. But I really hope its true and Adam's sales were up 22% last week!!!

Adam's album will reach a million sales after he performs IF I HAD YOU in the AI9 finale, The Jay Leno Show and in Ellen. just wait and see...

Also, I've posted on a few threads here on 24/7 about this - I don't know if any of you guys vote on Ryan Seacrest's American Top 5 - but I'm pretty sure it's not relegated to a "local" scenario, and that voting is open to all (don't know about out of US). Any publicity is good - for example - even 'though Kris Allen's LLWD has been out a while - it was actually #1 last week on this (or maybe about a week and a half ago, but still, pretty good).

Haven't heard 'If I Had You' at all on radio yet, but WWFM had to go gold before stations in my area played it much and still hear it mostly late in the day, when certain DJ's have gone home. Suggest that fans purchase IIHY and download multiple times to boost ratings, IMO. Would sooo love to see the CD go platinum! Have purchased several as gifts.

We do want Adam to go platinum!!!! I gave a copy to my server as a tip instead of money. Went back to the same rest. a month later and found out she LOVED the CD!! Guess who is going with me to see Adam in concert?!!
Using it for tips for your server, bartender etc. is a great way to spread the Adam love :-)

I think it's actually his international fans that are giving the US CD a big bump.

That speaks volumes for his worldwide appeal.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think these sales figures are a bit questionable. I also question Susan Boyle's sales numbers. I see different figures put out all the time. Still we need to do what we can to get Adam platinum ASAP
