Adam Lambert tweeted a while ago that he is finishing up his last tour rehearsals and getting ready for the upcoming Glam Nation Tour.
"Entering home stretch of tour rehearsals! This show is gonna be yummy!!"
Adam also retweeted a friend's quote on homophobia.
"bradwalsh:
complaining that someone acts "too gay" is the very definition of homophobia, whether the person saying it is gay or straight."

I read the tweet a little differently:
entering home-stretch-of-tour rehearsals, as in that Adam's preparing for his North American tour (home stretch) and may still take it elsewhere afterwards :)
I'm sure he's also finishing up though, considering the tour starts in June and it's the end of May aready :D
YUMMY????? OMFG!!! I just can't wait untill July to see him. This is TORTURE!!!!
I agree with the HOMOPHOBIA definition.
Adam, you are THE BESTEST!!!! WE love you soo much. Keep doing what you'r doing and NEVER give a F about what ppl say. JUST BE YOURSELF! WE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
Does anyone know if Adam has a boyfriend named John?
Anon #1: I read it differently than you and 24/7 but I think mine is wrong lol. I won't say it to spare my embarrassment.
Anyway, before Adam, I wasn't mad or sad or disappointed at my friends for saying homophobic stuff but after falling for Adam's music and becoming his fan, I have started to get irritated and disappointed with people I know who say homophobic stuff. I don't shy away from telling them off also. I come from a very religious catholic family so I can't really piss some homophobic friends or family members off for saying homophobic stuff but I do let them know I will not stand to hear it. I just can't stand homophobia right now.
"Does anyone know if Adam has a boyfriend named John?"
Ummm....No. Adam's only had two relationships. First is Brad, second is Jake.
Good for you 11:57... baby steps, right?! :).
I was raised Catholic too, not hating, but talk about a particular group who shouldn't be "throwing stones" so to speak, especially right now!
And you're opening lines were funny btw.
@Maria,
What you describe is part of Adam’s appeal—his beautiful spirit, talent and bravery to be who he is!
No doubt the tour concerts will be yummy, you're just one big sweetie pie, Adam
only bradwalsh gives a rats behind what bradwalsh thinks.
Does anyone know the context of that re-tweet by Adam? Who was Brad talking about, or was he just making a general statement?
Totally agree. No such thing as "too gay." It is what it is.
anon 11:58...his most recent boyfriend's name was Drake, not Jake, but you're right, he doesn't have a boyfriend named John - as far as we know
DC Canadian
i can't stand hearing people say "that's gay" "You're gay" and that stuff as an insult. I understand certain conservative religions have certain types of beliefs that back it up, but I have seen people saying stuff like "Jesus wants gays dead" "Homophobes are disgusting creatures and were never meant to survive!" and such. I've also seen people act like being gay ONLY means that you have anal sex (or other ways if you're lesbian), but if you have seen a gay/lesbian couple who're in love, one should NEVER think "I bet they're butt f***ing." The fault is not of those who are gay/lesbian, but those homophobes who seem to have a weird obsession with the fact that people are having different sex. that's just disgusting.
I myself are not gay, but have a bisexual mother, bisexual friend, and a gay uncle. I also there was a gay cousin of my mothers who died in the homosexual wave of the AIDS epidemic (before I was born). Because of a relationship my mothers been in, I've seen real love between two women, and it isn't horrible in the least. I've faced rude comments and bigotry because of my family, and it makes me mad to see how narrowminded people can be, and am incredibly glad adam has opened peoples minds. kudos to you maria for becoming more strong against rude, hurtful comments :)
I love how adam opens peoples minds and hearts.
In other news, I'm so happy the tour rehearsals are almost over!!! I can't wait!!! :D

Emmaline, thanks for sharing your personal story with us.
I have a gay dad myself but that's a long story etc etc. But I love him so much. My mom too.
I can't wait to see adam on tour. He's going to be so amazing.

Adam loves with courage, commitment and joy - NOTHING else matters. Nothing else ever should.
Oh please, I have gay friends who have laughingly commented on something being too gay, even for them. Perhaps the expression really means, it's too flamboyant. I certainly don't necessarily think it's meant in a homophobic way in every instance. And by the way, who the hell is Brad Walsh?
I am a Conservative Christian who absolutely loves Adam. There are many like me out here in the real world. Since it is my belief that God created everything on the earth; you, me, that tree, those mountains, all animals, the oceans, etc., I believe that he created homosexuals as well. I do not believe that God would create any person to be hated or ridiculed by anyone else. (btw zoologists are now finding that there are animals in all varieties that prefer same sex partners.)
It is my opinion that (whether he chooses to do so or not) Adam is going to redefine America's thinking regarding homosexuality by his loving and caring nature, his charasmatic ability to capture peoples' hearts, his magnetic personality, his total honesty and his once in a generation voice.
I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and the reason Adam auditioned for American Idol and received the fame he has will be understood in time. I just hope I live to see it.
p.s. I have never questioned God before now but I just want to ask: Mosquitos? Really?
Deus te amat and I do too
Oh I like the Brad Walsh remix of FYE. They should play the remixes more in the radio. WWFM is in the Finnish dance chart but they don't play the Fonzerelli remix which is really good.
Adam has never spoken double talk in an interview or left the listener to figure out what he said. He says what he means and means what he says. We all ought to know that by now.
Being in "the home stretch" is a horse racing term meaning the race is almost over. Adam could have said, "I see the light at the end of the tunnel" and meant the same thing.
I think lots of us on this site try too hard to read something into every comment made by Adam or anyone close to him.
If Adam says something that you may really not understand, just ask, someone here will tell you what he means. lol

The Campaign
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teens experience homophobic remarks and harassment throughout the school day, creating an atmosphere where they feel disrespected, unwanted and unsafe. Homophobic remarks such as “that’s so gay” are the most commonly heard; these slurs are often unintentional and a common part of teens’ vernacular. Most do not recognize the consequences, but the casual use of this language often carries over into more overt harassment.
This campaign aims to raise awareness about the prevalence and consequences of anti-LGBT bias and behavior in America’s schools. Ultimately, the goal is to reduce and prevent the use of homophobic language in an effort to create a more positive environment for LGBT teens. The campaign also aims to reach adults, including school personnel and parents; their support of this message is crucial to the success of efforts to change behavior.
I'm very blessed to live in a fairly liberal place, but there still are those homophobes against my family. I'm also incredibly happy to be going to a school where the GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) is great thing and not frowned upon. The common pigs are normal, but our GSA is very kind and caring and great to be a part of.
I'm not a fan of shows that have regular homophobic slurs, or just put gays in stereotypical boxes of what they are "supposed" to be like, and try to avoid people who are blatantly homophobic with no respect to peoples feelings.
This is why adam is so great to me. Whether he planned on it or not, he is a great model for some who are afraid to accept who they are. NOt just for gays, I've become more secure with myself and know others have, because of his ability to be free with himself. <3

Yes Emmaline... what was that term that Lambert was called in an article a short while back?? Was it "Accidental Pioneer"? I'm not sure if it was that exactly, but something close to that - very true!
to: anon 11:49am
"John" name was tweetered between Kris Allen and Adam during Kiss Concert in Boston. John was one of DJ in OHP.
Emmaline - Do you mind telling your age? You say you are in school, so I'm assuming high school otherwise you would say "my college."
to Anon 10:36, I am in High school yes, and I'm just wrapping up my 9th grade year in a couple weeks (I'm turning 15 a couple weeks after that)
Not to be pushy, but may I ask why?
~ Emmaline ~
John Garabedian is the guy from Open House Party
@4:48 - yeah, the remixes are great. I'm not a huge remixes fan - but I really like Lambert's Remixes cd.
Emmaline, I'm not the one who asked, but I remember being thrilled when you said you were 14 months ago - because (1) I love to hear from Adam's teenaged fans, what they think, how they feel, etc. compared to those of us who are older fans (2) I was so impressed with your maturity, the way you think, etc. (WAY more than when I was 14!)
Anyway, I'm glad you're back!
:)
Sweetie
p.s. did you ever look up that book Adam loves: The Secret?
By the way, rumour has it that Adam is dating photographer Mike Ruiz
Re: Mike Ruiz - that would be waaaay off type for him. Whatevs, it's all good, just sayin'. Waayyyy off type from what Lambert has always been very very open about.
he's going to be so busy this summer! I know something real good is going to come out of this..like new music!
Sweetie -
Aww thanks so much, It feels great knowing that I'm putting mature fronts out there, because so many i know are desperately immature haha. And I'm also flattered that several people both noticed I was gone and even missed me :)
And I haven't gotten the chance too yet, but I will in the next couple weeks, after finals are out of the way and I actually have time for reading. I'm sure it will be great though :D
