24/7 site fans - you gotta keep your eye out for all this footage from the Kiss Concert. Lambert killed it tonight in Boston! The Kiss specific twitter was blowing up with Lambert tweets...fans from all over the globe pretty much watching this Boston Concert livestream.

I couldn't watch it live. Why did I go play tennis today? lol.

So he only performed 4 songs today? he closed the show with Sleepwalker??

Still watching concert stream in second window opened up on my screen. Kris Allen finishing up concert right now w/ LLWD. Was really exciting watching the twitter feed right under the streaming video earlier... tweets in support of Lambert from literally all over the globe. I'm sure Kiss 108 will be playing IIHY more than once tomorrow. I heard it in car today - was exciting. I swear I could hear the roar from the Mansfield Mass venue LIVE through my opened windows on this beautiful May evening during Lambert's set, wich I watched real-time.

is this adam's first concert?

Anonymous said...

The DJ who introduced Adam was so complimentary. He said something like , "our next entertainer has changed everything." This is not an exact quote but pretty close. Damn right he changed everything.

Anonymous said...

It was so sad that some of the Twitter comments when Kris was performing were filled with hate towards Adam and even Tommy. How very sad.

Anonymous said...

Yeah the DJ was so cool for saying how someone like Adam only comes once in a lifetime...

Adam was so good live.

Adam was adamsome..so deliciously great, awesome vocals and a great vibe.
By The Way no one cares what Kris fans tweet about Adam or anyone else, at least, I don't.

Take care,

6:46 Sad indeed. So immature and hideous. Maybe not such a good idea to have the comments on the big screen behind the performers. Potentially ruined the experience for some, with that negativity and hate. But from what I've seen, Adam and the band were awesome and thats what counts. Kris needs to get after his fans like Adam occasionally has to with some of his!!! I'm sure Kris didn't like that any more than we did, once he became aware of it. No one likes having their friends trashed.

On an extremely positive note, as Glambrit Isle of Wight UK said, Adam has truly arrived as a Rock God, there is no way anyone can deny that, and with all of the huge positive praise he has been receiving lately, we are watching a musical icon being born, no doubt about it!!!! Can hardly wait for this tour, our last chance for the smaller venues. Next time the huge Arenas and Adam in the distance for most of us. So happy for Adam and his band, what a wonderful reception for them in Boston.

VERY positive intro! He puts on such a good show, but he seemed a little tired/reserved to me for some reason. Last few months have been a bit of a whirlwind. Coffee will only help so much. Get some rest, sweetie. You'll need it while you're taking over people's hearts during the tour.

Did you notice how Adam's hair kept falling in his face while he was singing, and he looked so adorable. He was really preoccupied with sweeping it off his face, but he need not be. It was all good. In fact, it was very sexy to have it spill on his forehead with his animated movement. He was so awesome and working so hard, but looked like he was having a blast. So happy for him and lucky audience who got to see such a great performance. Can't wait until Denver.

I'm inclined to think that many of Kris' fans are younger teens. While Adam has young fans, he seems to cross the age spectrum. I was delighted to see many men in the audience tonight singing the words with Adam. Someone tweeted that they saw Adam and Kris hugging each other backstage. That should tell both sets of fans to love each other even while preferring a certain style of music. Adam is so gratious always doing the sweet thing by tweeting Kris.

Thankyou 24/7!I've watched these videos over and over. What an electric powerhouse. He puts so much into each performance, hope he'll pace himself. He has a grueling schedule now and he doesn't do anything 1/2 way.You can feel his energy.Loved the fist bump with Longineau and Tommy getting some solo onstage time. Didn't see Monty. Was he onstage? funbunn40

Fantastic vocals as usual! Adam just gets better and better - such a great performer!

You were amazing. and that introduction says it all, we are all in for a treat, a glamerous man for our generation. So honored to have lived in his lifetime.

You know what we do to haters on this site don't you. IGNORE THEM IGNORE THEM IGNORE THEM IGNORE THEM IGNORE THEM. They get so discouraged and unhappy when we don't respond to them and away they slink.

Justpeachy, are you and I the only ones that noticed Adam seemed tired tonight? I thought he looked like he really had to push it to get amped up at the appropriate moments of the songs. And I sure hope that the video camera was feeding into Tommy's guitar - otherwise, what was wrong with the sound??? It was overwhelmed by the guitar. Weird. My assumption is it sounded better, live.

I loved Adam's "faux-hawk"...very sexy...although I don't care for the razor lines. However, the pants made up for it all. Very niiiiiice! And yes, I loved when his hair fell in his face. However, he looked hot and sweaty...maybe it was really hot back there? It just seemed like he really had to muster up energy for this show. Poor guy must be exhausted. Hope he's not getting sick. Adam - take care of yourself! We love you!

In many many years...I will very proud to say for the next generations that I lived in the era Glambert when a man changed everything for better...thanks to that you can live in a more comprensive and tolerant world.

Adam is a really ICON in all the sense of the world.

I have lost all words to describe this man. Perfect, beautiful, glorious, sexy, handsome, infectious, spectacular, beyond belief - every word seems to fail in comparison to him. I don't know what to say anymore that I haven't said over and over again until I'm blue in the face. Someone, somewhere help me. Or, if I'm not the only one with this problem, please be kind and let me know I'm not alone.

Deus te amat and I do too.

Adam Fix - Have you ever been to Massachusetts on a warm spring night? It's very humid, much much more than it is in L.A. And our boy was wearing a lined jacket (which ain't exactly cooling) while he danced around quite a bit.

Don't worry about the razor lines. It's hair and it grows out, that's probably why he's doing these things now while he can. When he comes to a performance with his face dyed purple, then you might have a complaint. But hair, gimme a break, and while you're at it give Adam one as well. I'm sure he'll be happy you approved of his pants, though.

Used to live in Boston - noved on purpose

@12:11am - it was actually a pretty warm day overall in Mansfield, MA... and I'm sure with the addition of the lights and wearing leather (oh those luscious leather frickin' pants - OMFG). But I was diggin' the sweaty actually - is that weird, that's not weird, right? LOL. And to those who mentioned the intro - that's Matt Siegel. He and Billy Costa are who you'll see in the videos/interview. They are both long time Boston radio (and TV) personalities and DJ's and they are really good guys, and knowledgeable guys! And as a quick aside - I don't know how the lineup was set - probably something predestined for "business" reasons long ago I think... but as a local, let me tell 'ya, the big buzz was around Lambert's performance... and if you hit the Kiss 108 website, you'll see that all their graphics that entice you and lead you various places to clink on in terms of the concert this year feature Adam Lambert, as of right now anyway (speaks volumes IMHO). And I gotta add just one little bit of snark, I don't intend it to be mean actually, but I just gotta say it - man, I would not want to follow Adam Lambert on stage these days! There, I said it. (well, unless you were like Bon Jovi or some mega star act obviously, that goes without being said). Iyaz was really fun, and Kris Allen was excellent, but after the AI8 Tour and that NYC Highline Ballroom show for Ryan's Rock Your Town concert back in Feb. where Lambert completely burned the joint down, must be anxiety inducing to follow Lambert?? I'm probably just being Adam-centric, I'll own that and get scolded for it if need be.

Wow! That was an AMAZING, I said AMAAAAAZING introduction for Adam! He said it exactly how we all have been feeling about Adam!

Anonymous said...

To glitzylady @ 7:10pm 5/22 - I don't think, 'though I am not sure, that there were any comments/tweets running on a screen behind the artist while they performed. If I suggested that in my earlier posts, it was unintentional. I simply do not know one way or the other about that. On the Kiss 108 (107.9) WEBSITE!!!, there were live tweets running below the video box containing the livestream video broadcast.

Wow! Daddy worked it out! Great vocals, look the whole package. Tommy was awesome too. So excited to see Adam in a few weeks

Just saw Adam's tweet about Open House Party and John Garabedian. Garabedian's kind of a big deal in Boston - will have to check out what went on there. I don't listen to Open House Party, but that's the scenario, the program, where the Lambert fans got spanked ( and Lambert got DQ'd one Saturday) for improperly requesting (although, as I recall, in regards to how it went down, certain DJ's were egging on the tweeting and improper requesting of WWFM). Something like that, I don't follow or understand how OHP works actually... oh well, doesn't matter, no need to dredge up the past I guess - just was excited to see that tweet, interested to see what went on with that. Will have to check out the 92 Pro FM website...which of course is always good because if a station's site gets a ton of hits after a certain artist's appearance, maybe it's a message to them to play thier songs more??? This Boston radio station was a little slow to add WWFM originally, BUT has been playing it MORE than other stations lately, as it, WWFM, winds down now, so that's been great.

That introduction was the white elephant we've all been seeing/feeling for so long. WELL DONE!
Adam was his usual phenomenal self. His vocals were out of this world. So glad so many people got to hear him live.
Adam rocked the house! (Yeah, baby!) So glad he didn't bring out the dancers. That would have turned off thousands.
Tommy was fantastic. I have a new respect for him as a guitarist and not just a pretty face.

So many comments here and rightly so: This performance was fantastic! Like several others, I had the feeling that he's crossing over into mega stardom, in terms of the quality of his performance. There were moments so incredible, I got chills, too. Here's hoping Adam's message of universal love puts the fire out in any hating that's still going on. The positive, loving energy of most of Adam's fans should help, too.

To 1:29am
Thanks for the clarification, phew! The thought of that happening during the show on the big screen for all to see was just frustrating to me and considering things that have happened over the past year wouldn't completely surprise me. So glad it didn't happen, at least on stage. I have no patience with bigotry and meanness. I am so thrilled that he is truly getting the recognition he deserves, as is evidenced by all of the wonderful things that are being said in the press recently and by the DJ at the show (what a smart man!!!!). And so glad the interviews and print articles are about his music, artistry, and upcoming tour, without the other "stuff".
And just a comment re 12:40 am:
You are surely right about anyone having to follow Adam in a show! If nothing else, Adam should be placed last on the program, just to be fair to the other performers, as good as they probably were. Nothing snarky about that, pretty much just fact. The energy level, intensity, and just plain pure joy of his live performances is unbelievable, having been there for three of those I've experienced that first hand (and I feel so blessed with those opportunities), and looking forward to at least one more this summer! Counting the days...

Great concert, the screaming during Adam's performance was incredible. This was the first time I heard him live. You could really hear the difference between Adam's vocals and everyone else's. He was perfectly in tune. Great, great time. Can't wait for the Glam tour and the new video.

Anonymous said...

I cannot stop watching these electrifying videos's! 12:40, your comment was not snarky at all.Adam is a tough act to follow and I can't imagine anyone that could. It had to be pretty hot up there with what he wore and the physical energy that he puts into his performance, one after another. We're used to seeing him do 1 or 2 songs with a break or sitting down at times. He really works his songs. This glamnation tour will be grueling for him and fantastic for us. He'll really have to rest and pace himself. Thanks for info that tweets were't on screen behind the performers. I was concerned about that. Thanks for posting video too!!!! funbunn40

Just so you know Tommy is a guitarist first and since Adam already had Monte, he agreed to play bass. Tommy is an awesome guitarist... to step in and do what he did was amazing.

I am not a Kris hater... how can you hate him as he is such a sweetheart and is a dear friend to Adam. That being said I have to say that is the worst performance by him I have ever seen. Backup singers were off key and so was Kris so I am assuming it was because they were having problems hearing. Adam was poorly mike'd in the beginning but they fixed it quickly for him.

Kris energy just wasn't there and it was such a lack luster performance. I can't imagine what his nerves must have been like to follow Adam. He just is no where near the entertainer. Again, he's a great guy and does nice things with his voice and is just ok on guitar. I hope they never do that to him again... have him follow Adam.

I was sad to see all the mean tweets and I hope both Adam & Kris fans will quit acting like they are in high school, tho many are. We do not honor them by being so unkind. They deserve better from us!

something kind of interesting I noticed when blogging today about Kiss 108 Concert - many nice compliments for Kris and Adam, so great, glad to see it... but whenever there was an "I was there!!..." type of comment from people who were in attendance and not just watching the clips on the internet, almost always it was followed by some sort of "...Adam Lambert was the hit of the night..." type thing. Not trying to say the world revolves around Adam Lambert lol, just was a glaring similarity in comments posted by people who mentioned actually being there that I noticed when blogging.

He is AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. SENSATIONAL.
And respect to Tommy who rocked that guitar.

10:24 is correct... Tommy didn't originally audition for bass...Because of Monte, Tommy learned bass at Adam/Adam's team's request apparently because they like him so much. (And haven't we all benefitted so much by this, lol, the amazing Monte AND Tommy). I believe I remember the word "learned" being used when reading about this way back when. Cool.
