2. Adam Lambert

The dashing and colorful American Idol runner-up headlines his first North American tour.

Setting the stage: Lambert's Glam Nation tour kicks off June 4 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., with more than 30 concerts to follow. Shows are currently scheduled through Sept. 18 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Why it's a tour de force: Lambert, a dazzling singer, set the Idol standard for showmanship, and his devoted fan base will turn out in full force. The tour's support acts — flame-haired fellow Idol finalist Allison Iraheta and Australian guitarist Orianthi — make the package especially promising: Orianthi played on Lambert's album, and Iraheta's Slow Ride duet with Lambert was a highlight of their Idol season and the subsequent tour. — Brian Mansfield

Cost: $29-$73.50

My tickets for Charlotte came yesterday, general admission only. Hope I don't get trampled to death, and be in the last row, but the energy from all of us that he has brought together from so many different places will be an event that I will never forget. I saw him here on the Idol Tour and think most were there to see Adam. The next tour will be in a huge stadium and this may be the only opportunity to see him this close. funbunn40

I'm going to see him in Seattle in a very, very small venue - it will be amazing!!!! Even if I can't get near the front, I will never be too far from him to get a good eye-ful of Adam. Oooooh, I've got chills already! Need to start x-ing the days off the calendar, counting down to late-July. Don't know how I'll be able to wait.

@12:56 - I'm also going to see him in a very small venue in Massachusetts - can't wait, should be interestting. Don't have great seats but I think the stage may rotate, and again, very small venue, been there once, all seats pretty darn close. But I also wanted to see the fully mounted grand GLAM NATION show, so I also got tickets to Foxwoods in CT. I'm assuming, given the capabilities of the venue, Foxwoods will be mounting the full blown show. Not great seats there either, but I don't even care, I'll watch the jumbotron screens if I have to, and still will be able to hear THAT VOICE live in my eardrums. So excited. Make sure you concer-goers come back here and post about your experiences this summer.

Stubhub, unfortunately, has tons of 930 club tix for DC. Gotta pay a bit more, but worth it to see our boy.

Can feel the energy building...cannot wait to see Adam's show. His band is so outrageously talented and his dancers are so cool. Allison and Orianthi. The best tour for the summer.

Got tickets for Denver. And if he performs closer to me in Texas, I'll go there as well. This is something not to be missed.

Hey 1:42 I'm also going to see him in Cohasset, MA. Got tickets in the 6th row!! I had to join the inner circle to get the tickets. But, he is so worth it and more! Can't wait.

Hi 5:21, this is 1:42 here. How do you know I'm going to the Cohasset show - maybe it's the Cape Cod Melody Tent? Ha Ha - actually, you are correct :), I'm going to the Cohasset show! Can't believe you have 6th row seats - so jealous. I almost "joined" as well just for a chance at good tix - so did you get your tix pre-sale? I should have just joined, family beach house a few towns over and down that way all the time. I have lousy seats. Oh man, 6th row, so cool. But again, super small venue, so I'm not gonna fret :)! And yes, he is so worth it!

got tickets to see Adam in Kansas City, Yayyyyy!!!!!

Hey 1:42, this is 5:21 again. I also have tickets for the Melody Tent but to see someone else. I have lots of Cape Cod relatives and am there a lot, too since I'm on the So. Shore. I "joined" a week before the tix went on sale to the public because I was told that any leftover tickets would sell out immediately and that is what happened.

Theater in the round is such a great venue and all the seats are great with the stage turning. I've been there so many times! Have fun!
