Perez has written about Adam quite a bit...but it runs hot and cold. Sometimes very complimentary, sometimes catty (but that's Perez for you...). And if you ever read the comments people leave on Perez's Adam posts, even Perez's complimentary posts, they are for the most part negative. Haters who just don't get Adam. But he does get some love - and I think any exposure is good exposure! And we all know Perez has a HUGE audience...love him or hate him.

Anyway - needless to say, you all KNOW I would chase Adam down while wearing 5" heels! Not in a stalker way, but in a "would you mind if I snapped a picture with you, pretty please?" way. :)


"Tranny" = transvestite. It's just slang. I don't really think it has positive or negative connotations. Prob depends on how it's used.

Checked Perez's blog only a couple of times and it isn't even funny. I don't think he is that influental. He licks GaGa and Bieber.

As much you guys don't like Perez, you have to admit he is actually "credible". At least he knows who's GAY and who's NOT GAY. I have been following his blog for the past 5 years and he always gets the gays right. But I hate that he outs people without their permission. It's disgusting of him.

And Jeez, I know I said my co-nationals are ignorant and homophobic, but what I've read there is unbelievable. So much stupidity and hatred against Adam, Perez, gayness, and pretty much everything else but the haters’ tiny little worlds. And from the so-called gay people too! I’m sad and angry.

IMHO –Adam used the right term when referring to the person in this pic. This is a drag queen.
“Tranny” implies someone who is transgender or intersex(in some part of the world). Tranny unless sometimes reserved for in-group privilege (GLBTQ) is generally thought of as a derogatory term. Can be male to female or female to male- gay or straight. Gender reassignment does not change sexual orientation so if a male to female transgender person likes men as male she will also like men as a female. A transgender person may or may not choose to have gender reassignment surgery, take hormones or simply begin to dress like the opposite sex.

Drag queen is a man that impersonates females professionally - they can be gay or straight. They typically have a talent and perform in a drag show. If you are ever at a drag show- tip them. There are pictures of Adam in “full” drag but I don’t know if he has ever worked professionally. Drag kings are women who impersonate men professionally.

I'm not too surprised Adam used the correct and polite term to describe that person. He's full of class and intelligent.

Perez has had some pretty nasty comments aimed at him about his obsession with Adam. Who could not be obsessed with Adam, especially if they know him! My God, I would probably loose my sanity, if I knew Adam, and frequented some of the same circles as Adam.

This is getting complicated, since nothing against transsexuals, but I was just wondering the tranny expression in this context.

Oh, oh.... be aware of Perez Hilton! Not reliable at all. NOW Perez is all heart to amazing Adam Lambert because he is on the TOP and doing SO GOOD, but during American Idol 8th Perez took a delightful time spreading «those photos» to his wolves and... enjoying the bloody party! YYeeaahh, Perez Hilton doesn't miss a chance to step down a head just to try his new heels or to spit his poison in the air, just to keep half a dozen of dirty headlines, you take my word!
