I am so glad Adam introduced me to this charity. My whole family got involved. It was mostly amazing for me that my 9 year old wanted to make a donation using her money.
Adam is a great influence on the NEW generation TOO!!!!

He is just so freakin' REAL! it is amazing. He has such a great sense of self that he doesn't need everyone glomming all over him. He seems more interested in what's going on around him then HIMSELF,ME, ME, ME like most so called famous people. Adam is STUNNING inside and out and a true inspiration. Being a great person comes so naturally. He has a god given grace and intelligence and then all of the rest. Wow, just amazing guy! and the jacket is the bomb!

When Adam is standing, he has the most beautiful posture. His body language shows such confidence and shows that he is open to people, always paying attention. He is so smart! and gorgeous. I adore LP and can't stand that he is not going on the world tour. I'm sure that he wants to do his own music but boy will he be missed, and I bet will miss his Glamaly.

I've seen postings for all kinds of classroom materials on the links, but I don't know if money only goes towards music and the arts...anon 7:07 do you know for sure?

Also, I heard somewhere in twitterland that Cam may be leaving too. She also has other outside music interests...Does anyone know for sure?

I recently donated to one of the classrooms listed under Adam's section of Donors Choose and they list each item and the dollar amount needed for those items...Most of the classrooms listed have needs related to the arts and music, but may be as simple as some new reading materials or, in one case I saw, a project for a "reading nook" to encourage reading....each listing tells exactly what and to whom you are donating...I received a personal thank-you from the teacher...The arts are so severely underfunded in so many schools these day, and often these materials are paid for by the teachers themselves...It feels good to be able to help to provide kids some of the opportunities that they may not experience otherwise...and its so nice that Adam recognizes the role his school years had in helping him to become who he is today...He came from a family who could help to provide those opportunities for him, but not everyone is that fortunate, and I just love that he lends his name to this project. I would never have been aware of it otherwise. A while back a local area TV station here had a very nice little feature on the news about a local classroom that had received band instruments from Donors Choose and Adam...The kids were thrilled, the teacher was thrilled, and so was I to see Adam discussed in such a positive light. The way it should be....

You can go to Donors Choose and put in your city if you want. I donated to a classroom that needed white boards for printing that is in my area! Because I was the last donor, I got pictures with first graders smiling as they used their white boards! It was priceless! So you don't have to just do music. I am a reading teacher, so that is what I decided to do. You can write a note to the teacher and tell her you are donating because of Adam's suggestion to give him credit.
