For all the American critics who were saying he is too tame, they expected more--not sure what they did expect, nudity? this should give them pause. BTW the person who took this, will you please videotape tonights concert? Just askin. I loved ooh la la, haven't heard that in a while. You win the best exclamation of the night! Wonder if that mike tastes good? Hope he doesn't give himself an electrical shock. Well serves him right, hes giving everyone else one.

@7:22 PM I'm pretty sure this is the Louisville concert. He liked us.

Go to YouTube search and type in Adam Lambert Louisville and look for Indybeck's videos. ALL of her Louisville videos are fabulous (my favorite Soaked, Strut, and Fever and a very close 2nd to New Orleans for Voodoo opening medley). Adam's facial expressions and dance moves are priceless. Makeup was gorgeous. He seemed so happy at this concert. (We did have some awfully pretty boys in the audience that night.)

@7:48 PM I'm STILL trying to recover and this concert was July 10th! I was in the 2nd row, and rememer thinking even his feet are gorgeous!(It didn't help any that I also saw him live in Nashville, Indianapolis, and New Orleans.)

Louisville Fever is really funny. At one point toward the end he sings "I want to get ALL of you alone"

Neal - you better come censor all of us, real quick, because I'm trying really hard not to say what's going through my mind right now!!!!

He's rather spontaneous isn't he? Wow, most folks inhibit themselves. Adam struts and lets it all hang out. Sexy tongue action.

Oops: Forgot to say I believe above clip is from indybeck's video of Whole Lotta Love, Louisville concert. Adam was delightfully uninhibited that night.

Just thinking about Neal...if Adam would just stop doing these sexy little moves, then we might (??!!) stop lapsing into fantasy..otherwise its just going to keep happening...what can I say????? It's Adam's fault after all...we are helpless to resist...and I don't see him stopping any time soon... : ) (Thank goodness for that!!!!)

Anonymous said...

All I can say is Neal must be a very boring person with no imagination and a limited fantasy world. Nah, we know you're a nice person Neal. You just don't get this at all. Trust me, our husbands/boyfriends whatever at enjoying it. lol :)))

Anonymous said...

Glitzylady - that was my point, exactly. Adam KNOWS who makes up the majority of his audience...and then he goes and does OTT super-sexy stuff like this at his shows...we are only reacting to him! We are the innocent victims, here, being manipulated by Adam! If anything - he should apologize to us! ;)

OMG this woke me up! I think I'm gonna stay up until 3 am now anxious to see how he's gonna slay Tokyo tonight or tomorrow morning our time! Can you post more gifs like this?

Love Adam. Not a homophobe. I also fantasize. This is 180 from him not wanting to be known as the openly gay singer. Can't have it both ways, bb.

Can you imagine what Adam would do to his favorite flavored double dipped icecream cone? Think it would turn into fried icecream with that hot tongue. Gene Simmons who? Whoops! Over 50, shame on me! haha funbunn40

LOL!! Indeed....shame on you!!!! (Shame on me, too...)

ZZ, Neil was a young man who posted that women over the age of 50 should not be fantasizing about Adam. Men are allowed to be sexual beings their entire lives but not women! We are suppose to be "invisible" and go quietly into that good nite. I, for one, say "Fuck that shit!" I plan on being a sensual, sexual being (with a healthy fantasy life) until I draw my last breath. Ladies, are you with me? Adamluv

Neil: Adam's brother.

Neal: A gay man (he declared that in his post) who thinks women should quit fantasizing about and mothering Adam.

The names are not spelled the same.

@ ZZ

Neal is just one more sad man in a corner... when he gets old, will be just «an old sad man» like everyone who doesn't get a fantasy (no fantasy = no life). I named him «Toshiro Neal» because of a japanese security guard «watching thight» the japanese glamberts fantasies in Osaka's venue.

@ Adam Fix
Sweet Adam is not to blame, dear! «Victim» I AM, but not «innocent». Lol

@ Shame on us! To be ashamed is good! I like to be ashamed! Lol

@ Adamluv
You count on me in your group, lady. I'm 200% IN!

@ Sweet Adam
That's what I love MORE in you, baby... most of the time you are an exotic singing bird ... and suddenly, THE GREEDY CAT! Ha!

LOLzzz, you people are monsters and I love it...haha. Wow Neal ain't he an attention whore!!! Here is what I wrote on the other thread:
__________________________________________
Ohhhhh Neal, "the self loathing Douche", I remember him.I did comment on that thread (September 30, 2010 10:23 PM ). FYI, I didn't know he was Stan's partner, poor Stanley. Anyways, I just don't like giving such bastards any attention, cause I do believe thats why he posted that sick/disturbing comment. He made a total ass of himself anyways, what a creeper!!Don't give him anymore space in ur posts ladies, IGNORE him, thats the best way to do it.

I am an older lady (64) and I love the fantasy about Adam. He is one sexy and hot guy. If you didn't you must be dead.

I have a feeling I'm going to regret this - but here goes anyway... I just want to say up front 'though that I was not one to really blast Neal on that other thread - I posted more to the notion of Neal having some valid points but that maybe we could all take more of a live and let live attitude on here and not worry so much about schooling each other, sharing thoughts and opinions with each other FOR SURE but not utilizing that schooling each other attitude so much, because afterall it is just a fan blog on the internet and hugely vast sorts of people were going to be writing in and some things would seem kooky to others and blah blah blah and all that sort of thing (I guess I've done my fair share of "schooling" posts on here too, so I acknowledge that totally) but anyway, that was basically the gist of my post on that other "Neal" thread. And also, I don't know if Stanley is the partner or not but I have always liked Stanley's posts!! though, if I'm being honest, didn't love all of the content on his post on that particular thread, but whatevs, who cares, I'm sure he doesn't, and he shouldn't... and also, before I post my few links below, I also want to say that I think Maggie Longfellow has a valid point also, 'though I personally might choose to just say that Adam might not be able to have it both ways in terms of being known as an openly sexual/sensual singer, or not... so anyway, there are valid points to be made all around here I suppose - but anyway, one little thing I wanted to say on that other thread was about this - We get it about Adam's personal preferences, we get it, but Adam himself is choosing to play fantasy in his public/professional life - check out these links:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngROEWmHV_8
hand gesture at 12:21

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hcPcCH2wIY
hand gesture at 8:10

Now I'm sorry to be crass, I offer my apologies in this regard right here right now, I'll try to be delicate about it, but I'm thinking that those gestures are for the ladies people... and probably the tongue gestures also but if not the accompanying tongue action, which is sort of universal :), I'm thinking the hand gesture is not to say - come here or come hither - or that sort of thing or it would be configured a little differently if you get my drift - I'm thinking it's for the ladies... you peeps tell me if I'm wrong or if I'm crazy or if I'm reading too much into it - I'll accept your verdict. But guess what, he's been doing that hand gesture here and there all along, going back to that smokin' hot show at the Highline Ballroom in NYC last Feb.

(I'll continue just a bit further on another comment or I think I'll be too long here)

Note the interaction he has with two ladies at 2:22... I can't be sure of course, but I've watched this particular clip from a few different videographers, and I would venture to guess that these two women were over 30 and not only are they not Adam's type because they are women and not men, they are probably not even Adam's type in the woman department (in terms of whom he might snog in the female department at a bar under the influence a bit as he's mentioned doing here and there...trying to be delicate here but you get my drift)... but yet Adam, um, encourages them so to speak...He surely doesn't pull away and walk away in any event. Anyway, I'm blabbering on, but I just wanted to throw that out there. He said, early on after AI finished and multiple times, that he is not unlike Brad Pitt in the fantasy arena - do you remember that folks... he said it is about ESCAPE and fantasy and we weren't going to be able to have Brad Pitt either for various reasons, but the fantasy of it was fun (although, not fun for me on the Brad Pitt thing, no thanks, ha ha). It was an intelligent analogy on AL's part IMHO and fairly accurate. Someone else made this point about - duh, is there a human alive who doesn't fantasize about some neighbor, coworker, celebrity, sports figure etc... and I don't find it pathetic or desperate at all, I find it human, the human condiition...sheesh. I'm not desperate one bit thank you very much, hubby and I are quite content thank you veyr much, but it's fun to enjoy what Lambert is himself choosing to put out there, it's fun... (and I think it's absolutely fantastic the bedroom revolution he has brought about for some, just to throw another personal opinion in there). I didn't originally take notice of Adam Lambert for his sensuality, I'm someone who used to steal her big sister's Meatloaf Bat Out of Hell album and I love that sort of music, and Prince from my own generation, and so I'm really enjoying what Lambert's bringing to the table in terms of the current music scene... that's why I'm into him most!!!...but do I love other things about him, absolutely... and most of those additinal non-music things I'm responding to are things he's offering up for a response IMHO, like him living his life unashamedly and unabashedly and without apology!

MGF

ps. Hope that made sense, I'm really rushing, but didn't want to hijack another thread and this thread sort of "went there" anyway...so... Give me hell if you want, tell me I'm crazy and that I'm reading too much into itit's a freakin' blog on the internet, all kinds are reading, wonderfully diverse eclectic group reading, that's part of the human condition too. I usually go the "it ain't that deep" route, and am really just here for the fun, despite some more serious and politically slanted posts sometimes... but I'm really just in it for the fun, have a good life, but enjoy this fandom as well, not ashamed of that.

It's easy to fantasize about younger males but not so easy about older men, huh? Poor older guys.. xD

He looked a bit drunk in that concert.

OT...Hey MGF I understand exactly what you mean and feel the same way. I don't want to discourage people with opposing views from commenting, as how can you resolve differences if you don't communicate? Most of us form opinions from what we've learned and experienced up to this moment in time and some just get caught up in so having to be "right",that the original thought doesn't matter. Sometimes the way we communicate makes all of the difference. Hopefully basic logic and respect will pave the way. Really didn't intend to get this serious, just like to focus on the united aspect of all of us appreciating universally loved Adam. That is one thing that we can agree upon. funbunn40

@MGF

In a word "YES"...I get what you are saying...Adam plays to us ladies as well as the cute men in the audience..Women make up a large part of his audience right now, that is just how it is, and he certainly isn't going to want to alienate us, because d**n it we keep coming back for more! Its called "entertainment" which very often translates to some sort of fantasy in some form. He is sensual and just plain ol' exudes "sexy", and he obviously enjoys it, and the reaction it causes every time he moves those hips, or just flashes that smile at the end. I just read an interview ( in an Australian paper..) that quoted him as saying one of the reasons he and Tommy do what they do on stage is to get a reaction from the ladies because they like it...he knows exactly what he is doing and why...of course he is playing to us at least part of the time...not too complicated..And if some of us 0ver 40,(or under 40), 50, 60, you name it, women like it and it sparks our fantasy life, who cares...you are never to old to have an "inner life" and he just stirs up the embers a bit...I will refrain from too much "sharing" in that department, but you can be sure that he's doing his job well!!!! And that aspect of Adam the entertainer is in reality not his biggest asset, which is of course his phenomenal voice..which is why we are all here in the first place, to support our favorite singer..But right now, he presents both parts of himself to us, so might as well enjoy...

@funbunn40 Agree....

@10/6/10 8:16 AM re: whether Adam was drunk

I was at that concert (pretty sure this clip is from the Louisville concert)and got to see Adam way up close (2nd row pit). I remember looking up at him during the VooDoo performance (was right in front of me) at a moment when he was looking up at the balcony and thinking--not only how tall he looked, especially in that top hat, and how gorgeous even his bare feet are--but how extraordinarily beautiful his eyes are. They were the palest gray blue. Could even see his eyelashes and the smudging of his very dark smokey eyeliner under his eyes. The blend of hues (i.e. magentas, blues, grays) in his eye shadowing that night was like a work of art. All of his makeup was perfect (with no lines, no runs even when he got sweaty later!). His eyes were bright and focused. What I also remember is how terrific a dancer he is. I could see him from the side on Strut, and he was almost horizontal on a few of those leaning over moves. Toes, back, arms, hands--everything beautifully positioned. He in no way looked drunk (like at Lubbock). What I do remember is that he seemed really happy--like he was in his element. If you look at the Louisville videos, every performance was perfect, and he looks very happy in them. If Adam hadn't said he was single, the thought that crossed my mind is that he looked like a man in love.
