Adam Lambert may be nominated for the Grammy Awards!

In a new article, experts predict that Adam is one of the nominees for the "Best New Artist award."

BEST NEW ARTIST

Two breakout acts, B.o.B and Mumford & Sons, were mentioned on multiple occasions as strong contenders for best new artist, but most believe it'll be a battle between Drake and Justin Bieber, with Drake taking the award.

Emerging stars Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars are ineligible for nomination this year, as their album release dates fall outside of the eligibility period (Sept. 1, 2009-Sept. 30, 2010); in Mars' case, by one week. Other possible nominees this year include Florence & the Machine, who got a big boost out of their MTV Video Music Awards appearance, and reality TV superstars Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert.

If Susan Boyle is nominated Adam better not be in the same category. Don't like their names in the same sentence.

Anonymous said...

If there is truth to this article--it should be a shoo-in for Adam. They are all OK singers, but they don't hold a candle to Adam and his talent.NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!

Adam is the new break out artist and if he is not nominated I guess I won't be watching. There is something wrong here.

glitzylady said...

Being that this is from Billboard, it seems that there is a good chance that it could come true if the Grammy's can be less "political" than some award shows...And I would definitely chose Adam over Susan Boyle any day...She is a very talented singer but Adam has already far surpassed her in every way (except Album sales..and IMHO his was far better than hers.. bought it and listened to it approximately twice..not putting her down...just the truth for me )...And I LOVE the description "Superstar"!!! I never get tired of seeing that preceding Adam's name...Please let him be one of the nominees and please have him perform...he so deserves it and will give him the opportunity to show those mainstream audiences what he can really do...and why we all adore him so much..His time is coming to sun brightly for the whole world to see.

glitzylady said...

Sorry, I obviously meant to "...shine brightly for the whole world to see"..in my previous post... :)

I will admit I am the biggest adam fan ever (aren't we all) but if he doesn't get nominated for break-out artist with 73 sold out concerts here in U.S. this will just confirm my fear that america is completely shutting adam out once again! Susan boyle has a beautiful voice and I even bought her cd, but there is no comparison between adam and susan, adam will be iconic someday and susan's just another beautiful voice with no stage or performance ability like adam has. also, justin beiber doesn't hold a candle to adam either, he's just more profitable right now and that makes all the difference!

Anonymous said...

Of course album sales matter the most. They don't have a sex object award.

Anonymous said...

They can't accept that Adam is the real deal. He has the whole package indeed. I don't care if he is not nominated at all. As long as the fans are there and support his career all the way, that would be his truimph for success. He is the world idol anyways...........Long live Adam Lambert we love u.

Everyone seems to forget the huge amount of politics that are involved in any of these award shows. Susan Boyle actually outsold almost everyone, due in large measure to her album being released brilliantly before Christmas. That was extreme good marketing. I hate the fact that Adam would have to go up against Bieber. The kid has a huge teenybopper fan base, and again, great marketing going on. Even sells on QVC. Most artist cannot go that route or they would be considered over the hill. Drake has the advantage of not being from the Idol machine. The only place that doesn't seem to matter is in Country Music where it hasn't hurt Carrie. If it was based on talent alone, there would be no contest, in my mind.

Anonymous said...

Sorry but I don't see what editor is seeing in this article that I read yesterday or day before. To me there is only a very remote possibility that Adam would be nominated for anything. Really, who gives a freaking da*n? Most people, believe it or not, don't know who Adam is or only know him from Idol. They don't follow his music or his sold out concert schedule. They really have no idea that he's touring internationally nor do they care. They do know who Justin Bieber and Susan Boyal are. Unfortunately, that's the way it goes.

That doesn't mean Adam's had his 15 minutes. It only means he will have to work ten times as hard as anyone else. We know he has superior talent, but do the teens and pre-teens who buy most music know or care if it's autotuned.

We fans are in our own little Adam world. It's getting to be a bigger world, but there's still a long way to go. Just know that the rest of the world doesn't hang on every word, every interview, every twat like we do.

Sorry to give a small dose of reality, but don't be disappointed if Adam doesn't get a nomination. In the long run, it means nada. Donerschoose means more than any Grammy, so go out and buy an infinity pendant from www.pennyroyal.com

Drake vs. Justin B. are the ones they predict will win? I was at a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concert last nite and they've been performing for around 30 yrs. As I watched/listened to them I thought who of todays current singers will be selling out hugh venues in even 10 yrs., let alone 30? And guess what? Neither of those names, nor anyone else mentioned in that article came to mind except for Adam Lambert! As the thousands of fans sang right along with Tom to every song, I invisioned Adams fans doing the exact same thing in years to come and I for one, can hardly wait! BTW, the concert was fabulous and hope to see them again! If nominations and awards were handed out on merit, Adam would win every time. Adamluv

Someone please tell me who Florence and the Machine are? Seriously, I have never heard of them. Don't watch much MTV as it makes me lose brain cells. I am confessing to never having seen Jersey Shore, nor will I ever. If I had teenage kids, I would threaten them with extinction before letting them watch any of those mind numbing shows, which seemed to be geared on educating the public on how to get SDTs. Also, the Bachelor and Bachelorete shows also seems to be about as enlightening.

@Anon 6:14 - I hate to admit that you're right, but you are. Most of the world doesn't know who Adam is, as difficult as that is to swallow for those of us who follow his every move daily. However, he is slowly building his reputation, and we can only hope that he'll be nominated. If not this year, maybe next, and we just keep on supporting him. If his talent - and our collective love - were the determining factors, he'd win every award out there. I just want him to have longevity. Awards would be wonderful, but the most important thing is for him to keep recording and performing.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 6:14. I checked it out and there are 20,000 people nominated. It was sugested that this the year for Eminem across the board.
I am sure Bieber will get one. Actually I am surprised that Subo was called a super star.We will have to wait til Dec 1st and see who gets a nomination, which in itself is a huge honor.I would love to see Adam as the break out star. But if he is even asked to perform would give him some recognition.

actually a lot of people in US know who Adam is, he is like a household name. The problem is that a lot of people refused to embrace him for who he is. It is sad that "life style" defines an entertainer in the US.If the entertainer doesn't fall in the "Normal" or "christian"(thats what they call it, shocking) category, then he/she strugles very much. Parents refuse to pay for their album when children insist on buying. I remember this girl on youtube saying that she is not allowed to listen to any of his music. Also she said that she couldn't hang his pictures in her room because her mother won't allow it. She said her mom told her that he represents the devil because he is gay and her soul will rot if she listens to his music. The girl felt she was weird and she gets bullied at school by other kids and her only escape was to listen to Adam's music and talk with Adam's fans. There were a lot of people supporting her and telling her that it will be alright. I sometimes feel sorry for people who are so close minded. I know there is the generational thing but I also happen to see this kind of discrimination in the younger generation too. It kills me to see when parents pass their hatered and evilness to their children. So what I wanted to say is millions of people in US know who Adam is, afterall AI season 8 had close to 30million viewers every night for months. If Americans could losen up their tight asses, Adam would definitely be the most successful of the bunch. I sometimes wish he stayed in the closet for the sake of his career but then I rather see him liberated and happy than him suffering in silence. Adam said it all "in the Aftermath", and as fans out responsibility is to support him all the way.

I don't think this will happen but hope he at least gets to perform. Lets's hope. I suspect he will have to get his sophmore album out before he will be taken seriously by the powers that be. He is going to have to fight much harder than he already is to get as big as you all already know he should be. I think he can do it for sure, just hope he gets the chance. He deserves it. Let's hope.

Just watched Bruno again on HBO. It's hilarious. Looking at the faces of the gay protesters made the think of how brave Adam is each and every day... He is saying, this is who I am--I own it. Take it or leave it. That takes courage. I admire him so much as a person not to mention his undeniable talent.

First of all I wish Susan Boyle nothing but the best but if she gets nominated for a Grammy and not Adam, I will seriously freak out. She was a novelty for a short while because her voice was so unexpected and such a contrast to her appearance and demeanor. Yes, she has a good voice but not outstanding and her album is mediocre and consists entirely of covers. IMHO it sold so well for reasons other than pure vocal ability. It was released just before Christmas, she was everywhere in the entertainment news at the time and the songs on her CD were familiar. People everywhere bought her CD as a relatively cheap and easy Christmas gift for their mothers, grandmothers, great aunts and other older and hard to shop for friends and relatives. I was one of them. Contributing to sales also was the fact that her music appealed to an age group not into free downloading. Any young customers buying her CD were probably doing so because they could hardly gift Grandma a bootleg copy.

That kind of circus type phenomenon should not translate into an undeserved Grammy nomination. To me, her nomination would be the ultimate proof that the Grammys have totally sold out.

@Annon 6:14. Like a lot of us I absolutely agreee about all that you said. In reall life they know Justin B because he appeares everywhere and I don't know when he has chance to sing! There are a lot of money invited in this boy carrier who knows why! About Susan, sorry I just hate her. It was predicted a nomination in MTV for Adam and finally his name wasn't included. Let's just follow him and hope he will be strong anough to work as hard as nobody else from these nominees. Adam's name mention internationally, he got award in Canada, doesn't matter how many people in US know Adam name. We happy for him and wish him the best.
One more think. It is still possible to view IIHY on VH1. IIHY has 883,000 views at 10:00p.m.
May be we try to make 1,000,000 to November 23rd date when FYE was released?

Given the population of the US, that still leaves over 280 million people that did not watch Idol. I am always happy when I come across someone who has heard of Adam - most have not.
(Altho they have never heard of Kris Allen either)
I follow everything about Adam every day, but I
agree with 6:14 that we have to be realistic.
Still, I know he will be iconic in the future.
Talent like that is just not going to go away!

anon 9:32, believe me, a lot of people know who he is. forget Idol...there is the AMA contro. We Americans love controversy. People rather call him the Gay guy rather than address him by his first name. You have no idea with whom he is dealing in the current music world. I hope he continues to be himself and one day people will realize what they were missing. I have a cousin who refused to listen to his song because he is gay and he is only 18. Can you believe it? I was shocked. I never in my life judged people by their life style and hearing this come out of a young guy was like Are you fuckin kidding me? I just hit rock bottom. What have we come in to?

well for what its worth I posted a comment on the Billboard site cuz I think we can all agree it would be nice if they nominated him so we can all watch him perform...Im keeping my fingers crossed but I do agree that album sales do matter...I just hope that the ppl choosing the nominees will be fair and consider how talented he is and how he truly does have a huge chance of having long-term success. We'll see in a couple of months how it will all pan out...
However,I have to say in response to the poster above who said most ppl dont know who Adam is I disagree in-part, because I do think he is well-known at this point but I also think there is, perhaps a large portion of the US audience that cant get past his overt sexuality and as a result of that one AMA performance automatically assumed that they would not like his MUSIC.
So what Im getting at is, they might know who he is and where he came from but they dont know his music. That is just sad because I really think they would be pleasantly surprised by it...for instance, not only does Adam's album have a positive message at its center (along with real lyrical substance), his is probably the only mainstream pop/rock album out right now that is COMPLETELY devoid of profanity (and auto tune presumably). This was something that truly shocked me upon realizing it...not a single curse word...not a single FUCK, SHIT, CUNT, BITCH, WHORE, ASSHOLE nothing, nada...and all because of a brief, isolated lyric that says "there he goes" ppl get "offended" LOL
I mean look at Eminem...his songs are replete with violent and profane lyrics...even the tone of his voice sounds agitated and angry. Yet because he's a straight Caucasian male his music is largely successful. (although there are other factors of course)...so I think people need to just forget about that one performance and get past whatever stigmas they have and concentrate on his talent and music. The media didnt help with sensationalizing the whole thing but I think, in time, they'll all come around. He's worth it.
Sorry for my rant lol
Love this site and love reading everyone's comments btw :) keep it up!

Oh ZZ, the story about your cousin just makes me sick. That is so revolting. I am also sad that we as a country seem to be moving backwards. We were way more progressive and tolerant in the 1970's. Don't want to get political, but it's as if religion has taken over everything. It's not a very nice religion that is so intolerant. When you get right down to it, most wars throughout history have a religious basis, so we haven't really evolved that much.

Attended a Sunday casual sales meeting today with about 80 people mostly women, and wore my Eye of Horus shirt with jeans. Not one single person commented or apparently had any idea what it was. Another bummer. Thought I'd be approached by at least one person who knew about Adam and the tat.

Anonymous said...

Good thoughts 9:54. Do agree. I like Eminen's sound, but it is amazing that we accept his profanity so readily and deplore Adam's message of peace, tolerance and love. Something wrong there.

I so hope Adam gets another opportunity to perform on a major award show.

ZZ, that is indeed a sad commentary about your cousin - but sadly, it's not uncommon. I just cannot stand narrow-mindeness. It's maddening! But hey - thanks for posting that stupendess picture of Adam, with his head thrown back...all glittery! At least that put a smile on my face. :)

6:14 - yes, I believe what you said is true. I also believe, unless there was some crazy, out-of-left-field upset, if Adam and Bieber were up against each other, Bieber would win based on sheer sales...because that's the name of the game.

- Adam Fix

glitzylady said...

In looking over the posts here, I just wanted to say that, no, I don't have any delusions that Adam would win over Justin Bieber...I mean really, he is probably a shoe in, but what the heck, Adam could get at least a mention as a dark horse. although probably not..and for all of the reasons stated above...I just think it was encouraging that his name was at least mentioned, probably by someone who has some knowledge of Adam's career even tho America is largely unaware of him beyond AI and the AMA thing...A glimmer of hope perhaps, but since these things are driven by record sales and popularity and musical politics, and not necessarily on talent, it will most assuredly be Beiber or someone like him...Next time tho...

IMO, Adam needs a brilliant music producer (Like Quency Jones. I doubt there is anyone like him in this age!? Read his bio in wikipedia) for his second album. The key to his success is downloads of his singles in millions. I don't agree that majority of people in US are homophobic. He needs only 8 million people to purchase his 2nd album and out of 320 million people I think he can find 8 million satisfied customers if he delivers great tracks on his second album.

agree with 9.14 re Susan Boyle. The only reason she got so far is because everyone expected a complete dud judging by her looks. My husband brought me her CD for xmas (I didn't ask for it), listened once, its never been out the box since, I'm sure there's thousands of people like me out there thats never listened to again.
Also agree that Adam won't win or even get nominated, it'll be the same 6 or 7 names that it always is.

lol yeah the Susan Boyle phenomenon was just that, a phenomenon :P It was baffling to me how she sold millions of cds when all she did was sing covers...I mean she has a great voice, I just think ppl didnt actually read her track list LMAO....nothing against the lady, she truly has a terrific voice but c'mon...they couldnt find one decent original song for her to sing? It was a total sham aimed at making money off her 15 minutes and it worked! To me that just shows how starved ppl are for good voices and good talent, but in the 'right' package ;)...I actually think all Adam has to do is do more writing of his own for his next album and have a clear direction for it. I think it could be very successful :) Besides he already worked w big-name producers on this album and personally, some of my fav tracks were ones that he wrote (or co-wrote)...I also think he should release Sleepwalker as a single...I think it has major potential of becoming a big hit as does any track produced by Ryan Tedder. His is a generic sound when you compare all of the major hits hes done for other artists (Bleeding Love, Halo, Already Gone, etc) but it works. Guys got talent imho. lol

I unfortunately agree with 6:14, but I hope Adam would at least be nominated and asked to perform. There is still such animosity towards Adam from that AMA performance that I continue to hear, as well as my daughters also hearing it in their work places. Those people refuse to even listen to Adam's music and look disgusted and make negative remarks when his name is even mentioned. As ridiculous and unfair as it is, it's so frustrating! He has gained many fans since the GNT and the overseas tour will also greatly help him, but maybe not this year. The album cover also turned some people off. Too much too soon for a new artist, but life is not fair. Susan Boyle has a beautiful voice and I'm happy for her success, but I don't think she's commercially marketable in the long term. She was an oddity that garnered great publicity with a pull at your heartstrings bio. I also bought her cd and was touched at her story, listened to the cd a few times and put it aside. Bieber is a commercial goldmine and teenage friendly. Adam's talent in time will supercede them all, as Elvis did in his day. I remember how ugly it got, for him burning his records in public, among other things. I thought those people then were hysterical lunatics.I was i6 at the time. I think all Adam needs is just one grammy or highly visable award show performance, tastefully done, showcasing his voice to allay the sponsors fears. It's a matter of getting over that first hurdle. If the same 1500 people complain, we need our masses to neutralize them. This boycott will eventually have to come to an end, but Adam may have to play their game to a point, at least on tv. His success eventually will win out. He's just too big and talented to permantly ignore. I'll continue to hope for the best. funbunn40

Adam should definitely be nominated. In fact they should create a new category with only ADAM nominated, because he is in a league of his own. No one else compares. His time has come and if he is not nominated, the whole process becomes questionable. I am a Southern Baptist grandmother and I ADORE Adam!

Let's face it - some people would accept a convicted felon over Adam Lambert simply because Adam is gay. When I traveled to San Francisco a couple of years ago, someone at work said, "Oh, there's a lot of Gays there. I've had, yes, I'll admit it, some of my own relatives say, Do you know Adam's gay? Having lunch with friends, I mention Adam and, of course, the gay thing comes up. And these are the "good people" who would never intentionally hurt anyone. We have a long way to go. All we can do is keep spreading the word such as: Yes, I know he's gay - who cares. Adam is the world's best singer. There is nothing wrong with gay people. We, as Adam's fans, have to keep the flame shining brightly. Good Luck Adam - you DESERVE to win. I hope the US can change like the rest of the world. It's an uphill battle. The "kids" still say - he's so gay, that's so gay. When I stop hearing that, I'll know we have finally evolved.

Any music award which is really for "sales" is irrelevant. In the group mentioned, clearly if it were a true contest for talent than Adam Lambert would and should be nominated.

I have over my lifetime listened to and have gone to many, many concerts by some of music's biggest artist. I have seen all the greats from The Beatles to present day Adam Lambert. I have never seen anyone with his vocal abilities. Nothing else should matter when it comes to nominating an artist except how talented they are. How anyone in music could even put Justin Bieber and Adam Lambert in the same category of a contest is beyond my comprehension.

Sales vs talent in any contest is ridiculous! There are many very talented people in the music biz who never get nominated for a Grammy which proves that the Grammy focus is very narrow in scope imo.

If you go to the Grammy website they have a picture of Bieber and they are advertising Justin Bieber dolls (further down) for Christmas gifts which has zero to do with real talent or music. The Grammy's have sunk to a new low.

Of course is about sales! Remember last year? Taylor Swift ..anyone? I think Adam should get the nomination,he is the real best new artist.Got tired of R&B and rap music,Adam is fresh, dare to be different and he has a strong fan base.Unfortunately there are two things against him:
1.American Idol ("reality"TV super star?),this is a stigma very hard to overcome, music lovers can be very uptight.
2.the gay thing. It's not just because he is gay but because is very proud,in your face and very sexual,People have the tendency to "accept" safe gays but if a gay mat behave like a straight female pop star...noway!! What people don't realize is that those are just stage acting. In real life he is a great role model but the majority of America doesn't know that

Anonymous said...

Anon 6:14 You may be somewhat right, but the mere fact that Adam is mentioned here is a great sign (if not for this year, then for a future award). His 2nd CD should tell the story. The second CD of an artist is often times more important than the first. It's up to Adam to take his time in coming out with a totally original CD next time around. By original, I mean with his own songs (or collaborations with others) and with a distinctive sound. He already has the respect of the music business for his voice, integrity and personality. Now, he needs to create HIS own CD.

And still we hear about the AMA's! Will the US ever be accepting? Many countries don't have an issue about it at all. I reckon the US will lose Adam if they don't wise up, because the world is already embracing him with a passion.
And yes, of course Adam deserve the Award, hands down!

IIIIIIIIIIICK!!! The SB thing again - I am with the first poster - should not even be in the same sentence. There are those of us who demand ground moving, soul shaking rock music and then there are all the others and all the others are much larger in number - face it!! SB fit right into that larger category - I know many who were just thrilled and relieved that there was finally music to soothe their aching ears, keep those unwelcome urges at bay and sing the praises of finding talent under a rock. SB fills that need beautifully - probably used often to put people to sleep at night.

Personally, part of the fun of loving Adam has been finding the unique group of diverse people who "get it" and wishing peace to the many who do not. We should be a lot more concerned about Adam getting through this World tour safely than with whether he will get the awards we think he should get.....RIGHT????

Anonymous said...

As I'm hardly one who concerns herself with brevity :), I'm tempted to say a lot... but I'll exercise some self-control and go with the most non-speculative thing on my mind, which some have already mentioned, which is that for Lambert to have even been mentioned in this regard in something as reputable as a Billboard outlet is already a huge win, huge. That's just my opinion, we all have them I know (and yay for it) ... but I think the simple mention is fantastic, I'll take it, I'm content (for now ;)).

@Anon3:52 Adam did not "record" the "Take One" CD. After Adam became famous a former employer that Adam worked for as a demo singer initially put together a CD of demo songs by Adam called "On With The Show" and planned to release it prior to the debut of Adams current first real CD "For Your Entertainment". A couple of songs on that CD were actually songs Adam and Monte Pittman (his guitarist) had written and Adam and Monte had recorded them at the same studio. Adam challenged the release of that CD and blocked the use of his and Monte's songs. Those songs were removed and the CD was later released as "Take One" very much against Adam's wishes. He had no creative input whatsoever into the songs on that CD. He was being paid per singing session and he was told exactly what to sing and how to sing it. That's why most of the CD doesn't even sound like Adam. The voice is still beautiful but not Adam's preferred style and the lyrics are crap.

In a recent fan interview Adam admitted that it still upsets him when fans present that "Take One" CD for him to sign. In the same interview Adam also indicated that he will never be able to release the few songs by him and Monte that he forced the label to remove from the "Take One" CD. I guess whatever documentation they signed to record those demos at that studio gives that studio some future rights associated with the songs. The whole thing was very sleezy. That label was prepared to sabotage Adam's career to make a fast buck by exploiting him. Many of Adam's fans have boycotted the "Take One" CD, me included.

Sorry about the rant, but that whole situation really PO'd me as it was happening and it still does, especially when I see "Take One" on store shelves and can't find "For Your Entertainment". Grrrrrrrr!!!!

This could possibly be their best-selling issue as was the issue of Rolling Stone magazine was when they featured Adam on the cover. Bottom line: we must keep getting his name, his face and his music to the masses. I check for Adam news multiple times daily since he appeared on AI. I get a feelilng many of you do this as well. Their new chart is issued tomorrow and it's anticipated that Fever will have entered the Top 40 in a very good position. This is Adam's fourth single in New Zealand since his CD release and the first three all charted in the Top 10. Internationally, he is definitely running neck and neck with the big names. Let's hope the US soon catches up.

I saw Justin Bieber on a New Years Eve show 2008-2009m so surely he was already out with an album. I think they have been pushing his "new artist" a bit. And Susan Boyle, numbers came from people who don't know about downloading music or for gifts, as mentioned. Besides, it would be a waste. And I don't know florence etc. either!

@Anon October 4 10:40AM - when you contacted People Magazine about putting Adam on the cover - did you specify the "Sexiest Man Alive" issue!!!! ;)

I'm with you, I thought Beiber was up for best new artist last year, definitely seems to have been around and in the news for at least a couple of years.

5:40 I'm still laughing. They don't have a sex object award. Thanks for keeping it real. Sometimes we get so boughed down in the rhetoric we lose sight of the reality of it all. Don't know if you were being profound, but you hit that nail dead center. We do take ourselves too seriously. Ha Ha.

This is a two-headed coin. On one side, there have been so few Idol winners who have set the music world on fire, that the Idol Machine is not taken seriously. Country does the best. Still Idol or whoever controls the Adam factor has allowed him to go solo on his GNT and supported that effort. I think he still has Idol contract ties. On the other side of the coin, record companies are supporting and featuring their artists; ie. Taylor Swift, who they heavly invested. Artists like Gaga has said she worked hard for several years to be noticed. Simon Cowell also put a huge amount of money into Susan Boyle's career. She would be far more successful. Drake is getting a fairly big build up. Bieber is off the charts. I would imagine everyone and his uncle is making money off of this kid. The word exploit has been given new meaning when connected to Justin Bieber. Trying to figure out when Adam fits into this music hierarchy is the answer.

Still don't know who this Beatrice, Mabel, Sophia, ah yes, forgive me, Florence and the Machine are. Is the Machine part the band and is Florence a woman? Just askin. I am not an expert, but this is a hugely stupid name.

@MGF, I can't stop laughing about your comment. Actually, they published Adam picture in People once as one of the 100 most beatiful people. When my Mom, she is 75 years old, saw this picture she said "Did they mean sexy and beautiful? I think this is the picture, the most beatiful and sexiest boy in this magazine!"
Adam would blow up any show. He is person which is dangerous to invite in any show or award ceremony. He can compete (if talk about real talents and performers) only with Lady GaGa.
Actually, about Beiber, may be this boy can sing. Yes, he was Canadian sensation. But this is not only the reason that his appearance everywhere. All of the stories about his kisses and sexuality and virginity!!! When does he have time to work? Yes, singers they are not just sing on stage, they have to have a lot of practice every day. Justin tries to dance, play on drums (he tried to do it on AI), and to sing sometime.
Adam is real talent and hardworking person. But he realy needs to hire agent(good agent)and financial manager. Adam knows what he is doing, but after he scheduled another show in LA I was surprised. He needs to take some rest and start to make another music video. What do you think about this?

@colorforadam, NO, their names shouldn't be in the same sentence.
Boyle has at least 65 Platinums compared to how many for Glambert?
He lost a lot of fans when he made his snide and rude comment and he can't take it back.
Nasty and rude, to someone who not only never said anything unkind about him or anyone, but probably doesn't even know he exists was not good for him. Not at all.
It made him look pathetic and jealous. Very sad for him.

@10.20
He didn't lose any fans with his remarks, if anyone claims that then they weren't true fans in the first place. And he didn't say anything nasty and rude, just stated that he didn't like Susan Boyles music,(quite agree with him as do many others according to the comments on articles about that remark),everyone is entitled to an opinion. Whats the difference to him saying he doesn't like Susan Boyle's music, to people saying they don't like his?

To be fair, Adam did say that Susan Boyle's version of Mick Jagger's "Wild Horses" made him laugh out loud. I remember thinking at the time that his comment wasn't the best judgement for an interview [better saved for his friends]as there would be a lot of flak. I'll take Adam over Susan Boyle any day without question, but she was born oxygen deprived, slightly handicapped and for that reason I felt it was a little harsh. That said, Adam is human and none of us are perfect either. He has done a remarkable job being gracious to other performers while often being baited to say something negative. Not caring for a certain style of a performers music is fine and he certainly is entitled to his opinion. I just thought in this instance it was hurtful. Just my opinion and I am an Adam lover. not bashing him. funbunn40

Adam and Susan were on Operah because they were runners-ups the same year and because they had the most fan request of all the viewers. Adam's interview was amazing and Ophrah was so into him. Catchy right?
