Is it just me, or was this a kind of "lack-luster" performance. You know, not a lot of the usual sexy/sensuality, chest bumping, hip grinding, crazy Adam style as usual ???

Still good, cuz it's Adam. Just felt watered down. Maybe cuz it's Tokyo?

I totally agree with you . Just seems to be missing something . Since the break after Singapore he doesn't seem to be himself as we've come to know him .

Well, I just got home after have been hardly working in my new Hells Kitchen and I had not time yet to watch the show, but I LOVE those two «Mr. Frank Sinatra hat appeal» first pictures and... then, about this «kiss pic»... Glamshit! I just can say it in a good Brazilian Portuguese language: «Porrrrrra meu, que BICUDO do caralho!!! Minha nossa!!!!»

Adam is performing in South East Asia, when it comes to love and lust, most people there do not show it all out like the west even if they love it. I think Adam did some background studies in their cultures. But I think the Japanese have showed the same degree of love to him. Look at the way they dance and cheer.

When in Rome do as the Romans do. Think this old adage still works. Adam is performing in a conservative part of the world, and thus, gearing his performances to conform. There is another old saying, everyone's a critic. He's still in that same old bubble, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Oh well! Somethings never change.

What's wrong with just being honest about how you perceive the show ? Whenever there's the slightest criticism or negative comment re Adam some ppl get all defensive and - dont want to hear it. It doesnt mean we dont appreciate his talent OR him . We're just callin it like we see it . He IS human and not always perfect .

We have not seen many vids, but how anyone can call what we have seen "lackluster" is beyond me. Geezuz. How about waiting till you see the whole show HMMMMM? Adam can't win, for sure.

Sure hope we get to see more than the encore. Will check in later today. Notice that these videos are coming in piece meal. This is not a criticism, so don't beat me up. Feel very lucky to being getting what we are getting. Fans seems to love him as usual. I bought a new computer so these feeds would not continually shut down. My old computer crashed so often I thought it was the Stock Market. Refuse to critique this show or others, as I am happy if he just stands there and sings at us. My needs are not many.

From past posts, the Japan fan's include alot of younger age groups down to under 10 years old. Of course we cannot see this from this 20th Century Boy video - but the greets at the airport and autograph signings he had done shows this.

Adam is learning about each country's cultures and I am sure takes this into account in his performances. He is one smart performer. I for one can't wait to see what he does in Australia!!

Adam tweeted that he wanted to "kill it" in Tokyo and I think he did vocally which is what really matters.
Lots of audience interaction in this clip and no shortage of GB. I'm sure he tones it down to suit the culture.

This is why I love 24/7....people are here to stop you dead in your tracks the second you have a miscalculated choice of words, or even a somewhat luke-warm sentiment. Then comes the "pile-on".

Anon @ 10:18: I don't believe what I said determined that I was unsatisfied. On the contrary, I'm an avid fan and Adam could stand on a stool throughout and I'd be satisfied.

I think the above commenters who said Adam tailors his performance to the audience is correct. Also he has said that some of these "moments" just happen he doesnt plan them that also comes from the audience, and as has been mentioned his vocals are immaculate.
In saying that I am seeing him Sydney which is the gay capital of Australia, so we could be in for a treat, so bring it on. Cant wait.

I followed the show on twitter, where @mindchngr gave us information the whole time. She said it was the best show ever. The sound was terrific, his voice out of this world. He was on fire and looked so happy. He was on his knees touching hand on front row ppl. "his junk is enormous and stares me in the eyes" What does she mean? I´m from Sweden, I don´t know lol. The crowd was violent, pushed their way to the front. The energy was wild. I don´t think we should worry that he´s "lack-lustering".

Dear Serena, having been on the bottom of the pile on occasion, I now give most of my opinions with a disclaimer. "Please don't send the Adam Police, but..." and I can skate by with an unpopular opinion. And Serena, Adam was very subdued during the encore. Just a few weeks ago he was on the floor, so we all saw what you were referring to. I read a piece from a Manila Paper saying they were afraid he would be too frisky and tongue dive, then the post disappeared. But I'm sure his people have made him aware that this is Asia and to act accordingly. Think that picture of Monte where he looked totally shocked that Adam kissed Tommy in his first Asian show. While it was priceless, it was a very real reaction from Papa Bear.

Hi all, it's your imagination !!! your expectation of something MORE outrageous out of ordinary, and when it did not exist ==> you ended up disspointing...that's why !! ADAM is HOT and ENERGETIC and SEXY as usual !! Yes, he has little precaution just like in some venues in the states in small city.....not too much licking or kissing...so what? it does not make him less enthousiast nor less energy !! Adam is a smart, respectful man in a foreign country, who also represents ours. He always gives his best performance. The impromptu, frisky stuff is gravy and his audience and location is wisely considered. Looks like the audience was very happy! Security is also very tight and it had to be very difficult to take any videos. Even cell phones were't allowed. Not to worry, he pushes the envelope when he can. Saw a few more songs from last night in Tokoyo on another site, and women throwing looked like underwear on the stage. Hardly the conservative people I keep reading about. Gotta love the look on Adam's face when these thing fly at him. And Eva,no one laughing at you, just with you. Language slang can sometimes be very difficult. I am an American and I don't always get some slang words. LOL

Asking anyone on 24/7 to be nonjudgemental is like, to quote Simon, "Asking Adam not to be theatrical; that's what he is!" OK Adams voice is amazing . But sometimes he's better than other times.He's even been known to forget the words to his songs in concert .Coincidentally(?)after a couple of nites of drinking and mingling-- very unprofessional Fabulous performer but has a lot of maturing to do on and off stage

Gee, after 72 concerts night after night with vey limited days off, seldom two days in a row sleeping and living on a rocking bus, doing interviews and visiting schools for charity, there has been only one performance of one song that he fluffed the words. [I've actually watched every single video from every venue since the GNT started, my fixation.] You seem very fixated on alcohol in general and very disturbed if Adam has a drink, which doesn't mean he is out of control or acting inappropriately at all. I believe you've commented on Adam drinking before, implying that he is a party animal that drinks every day.Believe me, if he did, he coild never keep up his grueling pace. What he does on his days off is pretty tame and if he chooses to have a drink, it's not illegal or immoral since he's a grown man of legal age. I greatly disagree that he is an unprofessional performer or has a lot of maturing to do on and off stage. I think it is more a matter of personal taste and unsubstantiated biased assumption on your part, but just my opinion. Seems as tho' alcohol is a moral issue for you. funbunn40

I think I will just have to have a drink and contemplate all the above, but if I have just one drink,I might still be judgmental. Now a second drink might loosen me enough to be mildly enthusiastic, and a touch silly in my review. A third drink, if strong enough, will probably push me into being a little wild, and looking for any kind of junk to be thrown my way. ADAM just may be toning down in lieu of his Phillipine appearance since there was an observation in one of their papers that 'perhaps ADAM's show is for ADULTS only' ... albeit a 'croc' ... but nevertheless ADAM is smart to give them 'nothing' to criticize until his appearance there. Maybe his management asked him to 'go easy'. There's been a lot of controversy going on over there that I have been reading on Google. Won't hurt to be cautious ... but that's JMO!
