Could an interviewer be more hysterical than that one? And Adam was very mellow and calm. Sweet!

Aww! On this interview Adam wanted a Grammy on his NEXT album and little did he knows he was nominated for a Grammy Award on his 1st ALBUM‼ ... SWEET‼ :) I really, really hope & wish Adam to win it‼ :)... *fingers crossed*

@ Cindy

Yeah, fellow, definitely sweet Adam needs to get a rest... even talking for this interview he seems short of energy, I mean, incredibly articulate and nice as always, but kind of... tired! You can feel the pain when you compare his to the DJ's speech. Please, tell me I'm wrong.

No doubt Adam is tired, but that interviewer in my opinion had a lot of false energy, which could have automatically tuned Adam out. If someone is authentic they create energy for you. if not it is the reverse.

Hummm... Good point!

Wasn't his best interview, but then maybe the whole Idol thing getting old. I know I am sick of interviewers asking the same old questions. Move on people. Well, of course we now have the package deal. LOL

@The Dark Side.
Yes, it wasn't Adam best interview. But I think he just tired to answer on the same questions for such a long time. Why they continue to ask about AI? And this idiot with all of the questions, "Are you sinlge, Adam?"
I think Adam needs to take rest on some kind of GATED ISLAND!!!!!!!!!! DO they exist that kind of islands? Oh, yes, they are exist. Johny Depp bought this island where they made the movie on Caribian. May be Adam can get this island for rent for few weeks?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was a pretty good interview. I don't think the DJ asked him anything about being single, he was asking him about his single WWFM.

I also think it was a good interview even though Adam sounded tired...I suppose this interview was made before the grammy nomination announcement.

When was this done? Adam sounds like he just woke up and hadn't had his Starbucks yet. Very sexy sleepy voice.

@ Anon. 5:34PM - I was going to say something along those exact same lines. Actually, I was going to say, after I was done cringing, why can't DJ's in the US use their "normal" voice? Why do they have to use such an obnoxious, canned, "professional" voice? Oh god, I hate listening to them in interviews, especially after Adam's been talking to folks overseas who sound way more "normal"! Is this "fake energy" and bravado really necessary? Really?

I think Adam called in on his cell phone for this interview. He either called in from his local library, or a stall in the men's room....and was trying to keep his voice down. ;)

Or, maybe he was just trying to counterbalance the obnoxious dj.

I think Adam was great during this interview considering the fact that the dj was totally wired and over-the-top insane. Adam was so calm and articulate as always even with the same boring questions. I'm sure Adam feels like saying ARE YOU FOR REAL - SHUT UP ALREADY!!!

So the dj was young and he was polite to Adam. What's the problem? Adam should learn to deal with young people. He don't seem to care about the young fans as much as the older.

@ Anon. 3:00 AM

The «problem» is YOUR COMMENT, which totally doesn't fit here.

Sweet Adam KNOWS HOW TO DEAL with young people because he himself is young; sweet Adam WAS POLITE back to the DJ, as he always is; sweet Adam CARES ABOUT EVERY SINGLE FAN (young - old, male - female, gay - straight, american -foreigner, normal - freak, white - black -yellow - red - green... any or none religion, from Earth or alien, you name it!) THE WAY THEY DESERVE TO BE CARED.

You should listen to my mother and shut up when you don't have anything good to say!

I know Adam shuts up when he's got nothing good to say..

You see? My mother and sweet Adam's mother were quite wise women while raising their smart and obedient children.

Heeey Fan4fun,
I think everyone about handled the answer back before I got back here!!

If your're still reading, whew, ok, interviewer was very smooth, but between the music (even though it was our beloved Adam) fading in & out and her speed chatering he must have had to be "on que"... and I think she was on a little tooooo much 5 hour energy..? =0

I kept wanting to listen to the slower, more mellow calm of his voice 'cos she was getting on my nerves a little!

On the idea of what AdamFix said -- maybe he was maintianing, or ENFORCING a steady calm to balance the fact that she was a ssppeeeedy n n nut!

Agree with 5:34. This dj seemed immature and inexperienced. Same tired Idol questions and trying too hard to be energetic, but sounding more like a carnival barker to me. @ anon3AM, Adam very much appreciates his younger fans and always treats them well and always is happy to see them at his concerts. Maybe the older fans post more comments and are more calm when meeting him, but Adam treats everyone with equal respect, even tho' he's partial to young "pretty boys." He's young himself! At the JIngleBall before the concert there was a young Bieber like singer that had just finished singing in an outdoor small stage and when he exited the stage, a bunch of 13-14yr old girls mobbed him, screamining in his face, grabbing his hair, water bottle, etc. He looked scared to death and I was concerned for his safety. They even overwhelmed the 2 men with him. We also are responsible for our behavior and how respectful we are towards celebrities. Adam answered these old questions politely and condiderately in spite of the fake energy. funbunn40
